It was great. The place was beautiful and better than expected.

The owners made themselves available to communicate about any questions I had and even gave us a free upgrade without me asking for one. I would highly recommend this property. The staff at the resort was so helpful and had the best attitudes.

Best vacation ever

This property was the perfect spot for our family vacation. It was spacious, clean and well stocked. It's location is close to everything, but you'd have plenty to do right at the property. It has everything! We will book with this property owner any time, any place. He was accommodating, helpful and gave us the best vacation ever.

Great accommodations. Location perfect for parks. Only issue was small ants in kitchen. We let owner know and bought ant taps at nearby Target to put by refrigerator as they seemed o be coming from under it and climbing up cabinet onto counter

Williamsburg with the Family

The resort was very nicely located for visiting Williamsburg attractions. Check in was super easy and pretty quick except for a small hiccup - one unit wasn't ready. Overall the units were very impressive. I informed resort management that the master bath needed major work. We had two units and they were very nicely located to each other. I would stay there again.

Meadows Retreat

We had a great time. Check in was a confusing but was straightened out. Our downstairs refrigerator would not get cold and to be replaced. All staff were very helpful

This is the best place for Williamsburg

I’ve been to Williamsburg several times. Our small group really enjoyed this place. We felt like it was central to all things Williamsburg. We went to Jamestown, Williamsburg, Busch gardens, Monticello Yorktown It was great to tour all of those places and come back to a really beautiful pool and hot tub. The kids enjoyed all the activities on property including volleyball. I definitely would return here. The place was clean and comfortable. We were able to cook breakfast in the place. We wound up eating out for lunch and dinner. Everything seemed to be close to this place. Including the grocery stores. Thanks for a great stay.

Property very tired, some furniture not clean, carpet not clean (stained and dirty), dishwasher severely damaged (front bashed in), dishwasher cabinet surround broken, one toilet did not work, ants a problem in several areas. Kitchen sink leaked into cabinet below it.

minor mishap but stay was great

we were to get to adjoining 2 bedroom units for our group but host contacting us a few days before and noted that due to this being a time sharing complex they were not available - he did upgrade us to two 3 bedroom units in adjoining buildings they were to be in same building but complex was too full having said that the units were great and the host was readily available to us and the extra space was nice at check in they do try to send you over to talk to other reps who will tell you about the facility and time share process but you do not have to do that - we did not and had been forewarned by host the facilities were fine and convenient and we had a great time , the staff were very nice and accomodating the one improvment that would be nice is to have some type of snack bar at least during warm weather as we had a lot of kids and that would have been nice to have near the pool and facilities area

Beautiful place overbooked by resort for the first night of our stay

This rental was for a 4 bedroom lock off unit. It is a time share resort and unfortunately it was over booked by the location for the first night of our stay. The owner was aware of the problem before we arrived that day and did what he could to be sure we had a place to stay. He did offer another option elsewhere but since we were already at Busch Gardens there was no time to review that place. It also did not have the same number of real beds as Governors Green. We opted to stay here and were given 2 separate rooms in 2 different buildings for the first night. We then had to move all our stuff to be held until we could move it to the proper unit the next day after 4pm check in. This was a hassle, especially with 14 exhausted people. That being said, I highly recommend this particular rental. It’s a very nice place and we would definitely stay there again. It is MUCH nicer then even the pictures show!!!

Wonderful and then tragic struck

I originally booked for Mon thru Fri, and then the owners/ property mgrs reached out and said they could extend our stay to Saturday for a small fee.. We accepted the offer got to the facility and they had us checking out on our original date of friday. I immediately reached out to the agency to get everything squared away. They waited until late Thursday evening to extend our stay and had to put us in a whole different unit. We were in a 2bdrm lockout unit which was 2 two bedroom condos joined by a door.. we had to move into 2 separate units a 1 bdrm and a 3 bdrm splitting up my family. We weren't notified that we had to move out until Friday morning and was given an hour and a half 11:30 to pack everything up and get out. We weren't given the new unit until 2:30 pm the agency/ owners did not accommodate us in any way and did not check on us to make sure we were able to get settled in the new units properly. All week long I had to send messages to get the reservation extended and to only have to be so inconvenience on friday morning, having to throw things in bags to get out and move into 2 completely different units all while preparing breakfast for a family of 11. From 11:30 am to 2:30 my family had to sit around waiting for the new units to become available, while waiting we missed our pool appointment as well as our appointment for the aquarium dolphin sight seeing. The facility itself was excellent, my family enjoyed the pool, miniature golf, volleyball, and basketball, but the agency/owners were not professional or accommodating at all.

Accommodating property managers

The week before our trip, it was determined that this room arrangement was not available. Brendan was great at finding us something that would accommodate our family better. The location had all the amenities we needed. Loved cooking meals at the resort which saved us a ton of money on our week in Williamsburg. We stayed at the kings creek plantation. We have 2 small toddlers and my only concern is that the exit doors of the estate We stayed in were lever handles and there was no chain or lock at the top of the door to prevent them from opening the door to the outside. With a pond right next to the property that they could easily roll down the hill into right outside our door.... I do see some safety improvements that this resort should make. We enjoyed our stay and have no other complaints. Thank you for being accommodating at finding a place where we could all be in adjoining spaces

Great Accommodations for a Great Family Trip

Our ground-floor 4-bdrm lockoff unit was perfect for my siblings, me and our spouses (all senior citizens). Everyone was comfortable and had their own space. Although we had to drive to the destinations we wanted to visit, they were all close by and easy to get to. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A BIG Thank you to the Hawkins' for making this possible for us.

Great Getaway

The perfect place for a family weekend getaway! The 2 units accommodated all 14 of us great. Lots of space which is always a concern with so mNy of us. The property offered everything we needed to keep the kids occupied and happy. Swimming, mini golf, game room, fire pit. Beautiful property.

Great arrangement for a group of girls and a group of guys. These connecting condos would also be wonderful arrangement for two families traveling together or for a large, extended family traveling together.

Busch Garden Trip

Nice property. Time share. VRBO add was misleading, was searching for a 4 bedroom and they started with a 4 br and then promised two 2 br units. They promised they would be right next to each other. Not true, they were on opposite ends of the building. One unit had significant mold in the inside window sills, which when called, they promptly cleaned.

Renting the property was good. I wouldn't buy a timeshare at this property. Had to call for service several times for things that should have already been in the room.

Perfect for us!

We took 11 youth from age 5 to 18 on a getaway while dealing with this corona pandemic. Only bad thing was pool and certain amenities weren't open yet. Otherwise enjoyed it & would rent again!
