This Kenai Riverside gem, the Bear House, offers gorgeous, upscale accommodations for your Alaska dream vacation - all just steps from the stunning Kenai River.

Nestled on the banks of the turquoise-colored Kenai River, this tranquil setting is the perfect home away from home, conveniently located in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula. From your private “basecamp,” you can explore the local area by foot, raft or fishing boat - or venture on day trips to Seward and Homer before returning to your cozy home.

The main living space boasts large windows with excellent views of the property’s wooded, riverside location, along with a full kitchen set-up suitable for any home chef. Make the most of the spectacular natural setting located just outside French doors leading to the outside patio, with comfortable outdoor furniture to maximize your time in nature. Or, opt to stay cozy inside and gather around the beautiful palatial dining table which comfortably seats 8.

This premium vacation home has three bedrooms with fresh linens and Sleep Number beds. Bedrooms sleep six with two additional extra-long, Patagonia style daybeds with comfortable bedding.

The master bedroom suite features a king-size Sleep Number bed with cozy reading area and en-suite master bath, with deluxe Jacuzzi tub and steam shower. This vacation home puts the Ahhhhh in Alaska!

Perfect Weekend Trip for Locals

The bear house was the perfect place for our little family and parents. The location cannot be beat and the house is absolutely gorgeous. We will be returning.

Amazing!

If you are looking for a perfect Alaskan get-away, look no more! We rented both cabins for our family and could not be happier. Property is absolutely gorgeous, location Is convenient, views are breathtaking, hosts are very helpful and pleasant! Our only regret is not staying there long enough. We will definitely come back.
