This unit was so clean and tidy! Great starter package, had every possible utensil needed, plenty towels and washcloths, and everything needed for the beach. The lanai sprawled across the whole front of the unit and down the pool side with multiple accesses from unit. By far had one of the best views. Super comfy bed, but the fish on the bathroom wall freaked me out, put toilet paper over its eye. Pool couldā€™ve had longer hours and been more child friendly, (no balls, noodles or floating loungers). Well worth the money for a perfect vacation!

An awesome stay on the Big Island

This is a great condo in a great location. A wonderful view with tons of natural light. The lanai is perfect for hanging out on and watching the waves crash on the lava. You feel like you are right on the edge. The condo had everything you would need for a great stay.

The parking and condos were gated, which was nice for safety. The unit was clean and comfortable with all you need to cook anything you would want. The wrap around porch was the best and everything was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as well.

Great location, great ocean front property, Kona is a lovely place to stay. We explored the whole island and would stay here again. Near good food, some beaches, and shopping. Grocery nearby. The house is well-stocked and was so nice that they offered equipment to use (boogie boards, chairs, etc). Bed was comfortable. Very much enjoyed. Would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful condo right on the gorgeous lava rock beach. Every morning, my daughter and I explored the tide pools and amazing rock and coral. Perfect location to amazing Kona activities- snorkeling, beaches, grocery. Ocean sounds were a constant soundtrack! Beds and rooms were comfy, kitchen well stocked, great communication with the company managing the rental. The home is so lovingly decorated by the owners.

Great Place

The Lanai was huge with spectacular views. You could see the yellow fish from the balcony in the below. Beautiful sunsets. Warm pool, large Jacuzzi and great location. Could hear the sounds of the waves all night. Close enough to town, but not too close. Great launching pad for all the island amenities. Kona for a change

We usually stay up the coast in the Mana Kea Resort area. Decided to stay in Kona on the water. Wonderful unit right on the water. Magnificent sunsets. Central to attractions north and south of Kona. Fun to do the Kona hangouts during the day and night. Overall excellent!!

Amazing view, great place

Amazing place! Wrap around lanai with views of the sunset. Bedrooms setup perfectly for privacy and both also had direct access to the balcony. Never needed air conditioning, as the ocean breeze kept the place comfortable at all times. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, and comfortable beds. No idea if the living room furniture was comfortable since we spent the whole time in the lanai! Easy drive into town.

Kona fun tastefully done

This condo was beautiful. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Beautifully decorated, clean and onsite staff friendly and helpful. The view from the deck was amazing and the owners provided lots of fun snorkel and boogey boards. The upstairs bathroom leaked through the ceiling to our main bathroom but the company responded quickly and we were not impacted for too long. Would definately recommend! Thank you.

Slice of Big Island Paradise

This condo was by far the most beautiful, well equipped and well maintained condo that we stayed in during our Hawaiian vacation. The views from the lanai are breath taking. We were able to see schools of yellow tang swimming in the reef right from the lanai and listen to the sounds of the waves and the myna birds. The AC works well as do the ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the den. Both beds were comfortable. We wish we could have spent another day in Kona just enjoying the beauty.

Perfect Kona Visit!

My parents bought a condo in this complex in 1978 and i have been coming ever since. When my folks sold 15 years ago, whenever we returned we rented in Kona Makai. This was our favorite unit ever! It is in terrific shape and is perfectly outfitted. Everything we could possibly need was supplied with high quality gear-whether beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards or coffee bean grinder. And all of the furniture is comfortable and in great shape! Mahalo for a fabulous stay. We look forward to returning!

The Big Island

We loved this unit!!! Location was great (oceanfront). We lived out on the lanai, it was huge and had a ton of places to sit and enjoy the ocean views and sunsets. The unit itself was more than large enough for a family of 5. The interior of the unit was updated and clean. The unit was also well stocked, from beach towels to snorkel gear, to beach chairs, to anything you needed in the kitchen and for the grill. The complex and grounds were well kept. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on the big island!!

Perfect for Ironman World Championship!

Beautiful condo, well supplied with everything you need to enjoy Hawaii. Beds super comfy. My only complaint was lack of central air, as the window units were super noisy and not quite effective. Also, if you are like me and one of those people who HAVE to have complete silence to sleep, bring noise cancelling headphones, as the condo is facing the beautiful beach and the waves are pretty loud. But these are all silly issues. I would definitely recommend 5/5 stars.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the time you walk in the door until the moment you leave the ocean is there. Bueatiful views. Each morning began with coffee on the lanai listen to and watching the ocean. We would walk to town for breakfast, brows the local stores and farmers markets, then head back to relax. The kitchen has everything needed. The master bed is very comfortable and the views are everywhere.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is not enough room on this page, for us to describe how much we loved our stay there. The best recommendation that I can give, is that I wish I could live there. 2nd that we can't wait to go back. Every aspect was fantastic. Little things like, our flight got changed by 2 hours. We called the off hours number provided, to ask for a late check out. We were told "give me 10 mins. If someone was checking in on the same day, the answer would be no. If it was open, I'll let you know". She called back, and told us that no one was checking in, and that we could stay another 2 hours. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but not having to sit at the airport was a very very nice surprise. EVERYONE we spoke to, was nice & helpful. Mind you, we had just spent 3 days in Turtle Bay (VRBO rental). Lets just say the pictures were beautiful (and very old). It was listed as "Luxury rental". The unit was for sale, the the flyer in the unit read "Investors fixer up special". Then the owner would NEVER respond. This place a breath of fresh air!!! LOVED IT!!!
