2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom Oceanfront Boathouse on Beautiful Indian Point.

Welcome to a one of a kind Air Conditioned Boat House right on the Ocean. This Boat House is five minutes from Highway 103 and eight minutes from Mahone Bay which is great for shopping and enjoying delicious seafood. It's also less then 10 mins to world famous Oak Island. This 130 year old Boat House used to be the local Blacksmith Shop and has been recently updated and comes completely refurnished

Enjoy amazing Sunrises and Sunsets with a 180 degree view on either of your two amazing decks. Watch marine life passing by while you enjoy your morning coffee. Spend afternoons watching the boats go by, Kayaking and Paddle Boarding around the bay and fishing right from the dock. Four Kayaks, life jackets (many sizes) , water shoes, two floaties and two SUP's included with your stay. Swim right from the float dock or take the newly added stairs down to the water. Great Fishing for Mackerel and Squid. Very relaxing and quiet location.

This Boat House has 2 large bedrooms the Main Bedroom has a new queen size bed and the Second Bedroom has two single beds which is perfect for two couples or a family of four. It also has a dishwasher and washer and dryer to help maximize your stay. The main deck is very spacious with a fire table and is a great area for relaxing, having a BBQ or enjoying a feed of lobsters with family and friends.

The Boat House comes equipped with a Heat Pump, Water Cooler, Dishwasher, Full Size Washer and Dryer and all Household Amenities. It also has Dedicated High Speed Fibre Internet, Local Cable Channels, HBO, CBC GEM, Disney +, AMC, Britbox, Acorn, Discovery + and Amazon Movies and Music.

Come enjoy the beautiful East Coast of Canada in a place like no other. Relax and enjoy the seaside villages of Indian Point and Mahone Bay. A quick eight minute beautiful drive along the ocean and you arrive in the town of Mahone Bay which will fulfill all your shopping needs. Grab an amazing coffee and pastry at The Barn Social House. Have lunch or dinner at some of the local restaurants like Betty's Wood Fired Pizza, Oh My Cod, Mateus Bistro and Rebecca's Restaurant just to name a few. Don't feel like cooking just order in Pizza and Donairs from Recardo's Pizza.

If you enjoy Beer stop by our local Saltbox Brew Pub and then pick up some groceries and cocktail supplies and head back to your Oceanfront deck for a relaxing evening watching the stars. If you are lucky you may hear some church bells playing from The Indian Point Church that echo across the bay.

Private Boat tours of Oak Island can be booked with Tony from "The Curse Of Oak Island" through his company Salty Dog Sea Tours. Which are amazing and pick up and drop off can be arranged right from the dock.

This Boat House truly is a magical place with a great vibe. Located one hour from Halifax International Airport and twenty minutes from the Historic Town Of Lunenburg (Home Port Of The Bluenose). The Lunenburg Farmers Market is open year round and is open every Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. You will not want to leave and it has all the amenities Mahone Bay has to offer without being right in town. Escape to the Boat House and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Very peaceful location

Visited during the off-season so was very quiet. Location is excellent with close proximity to Mahone Bay, and being on the water was amazing. The road is quiet as it a dead end so minimal traffic. House is well appointed with new appliances and very clean. Will stay again in the future.

Very well appointed

Perfect location and well-appointed cottage for me and my friends to use my runabout boat right from the new dock. Very quiet and picturesque waterfront road which is also nice for cycling or walking.

An absolute gem

We had a wonderful stay at the boathouse! The hosts are so kind and available if you need them. The location is perfect for relaxing, and the kayaks/fishing gear are an added bonus that we felt so lucky to have access to. We actually just enjoyed where we were rather than felt the need to go out. It is a hidden gem in Mahone Bay. We would 100% stay again!

A picture-perfect destination for the South Coast!

This was my first visit to Nova Scotia, and I wanted a central location to explore all that the coast had to offer. I could not have lucked out with the weather, 70's to even 80-degrees and sunshine, and The Boathouse was perfect. Nothing like waking up to a sunrise over the water, watching the wildlife, boats and kayaks that enjoy Mahone Bay. I was able to spend two full days wandering around doing photography, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenberg, Blue Rocks, Port Medway and Liverpool. The mattress was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked (though I never cooked) and a full size washer & dryer. You'll love The Boathouse, I sure did!

Wonderful Relaxing getaway.

Spent a 4 day long weekend here. Beautiful location and lovely accommodation exactly as shown in the pictures. Spotlessly clean , kitchen has everything you need , lots of linen and very comfy beds. Deck is lovely with great furniture and a great view. Shireen was a super host and good communicator. Mahone Bay is an 8 minute drive away. Overall rate it 10 stars and will definitely be coming back next year.

Fantastic Boat House

The Boat House is a treasure! Has a beautiful deck right at waters' edge. Has grill and table, chairs, fire pit. Dock goes out over the water with fishing rods & gear. Everything you need to have a great stay. Even kayaks to use. Mahone Bay is beautiful and easy to get anywhere else in Nova Scotia. Lunenburg is just a short drive away. Lots of restaurants and fish store DORY MATES in Lunenburg. Boat house grill great place to grill fish, lobster, scallops, etc. Would definitely recommend. Has everything you need. FYI: One warning I have personally...bedrooms and only bathroom are on 2nd floor. The stairs are very steep, slippery and short treads. If you are older, or unsteady on your feet, this is not the place for you. I fell on the stairs and have multiple bruises & sores to prove it. Other than also bruising my pride, I am fine. Just something to consider!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Boathouse, thanks to our fantastic hosts who truly went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The property itself is exactly as described and more. The Boathouse is situated in a great location with breathtaking views, and all amenities were impeccably maintained. It was evident that cleanliness is a top priority here, as the place was spotless upon our arrival. One of the highlights of our stay was spending countless hours on the dock. Whether we were fishing, watching the weather change over the water, stargazing under clear skies, or simply unwinding with a book, the peaceful atmosphere made every moment special. Great Boathouse vacation.

Thank you Shireen and Andrew for a great vacation in your lovely boathouse. So peaceful to just sit on the balcony and watch the boats go by. The boathouse has everything you need to self-cater. Lovely, bright , and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Hope to come back again.

Simply Amazing

Absolutely loved our stay at The Boathouse! We have even booked for the next two summers as we can’t wait to return. The Boathouse was perfect, very clean, great amenities, The Hosts Shireen & Andrew thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable & enjoyable. They are really nice people too, we feel like we have made new friends. We particularly enjoyed the kayaks. Indian Point/Mahone Bay is a great location for touring, boating, dining & shopping. Fabulous 180 degree water views from the many decks. We loved watching the boats go by and even saw a seal!

Best VRBO we have ever stayed in!

My college roommate and I travel together often, and this year we decided to visit Nova Scotia. This boathouse on Mahone Bay was exceptionally well-equipped (they literally thought of everything) and the views were amazing! We both agreed that the VRBO was the best part of this trip! Despite the lovely scenery, great food and friendly people of the South Shore, the VRBO stood out as the winner! We will be back.

WOW!

Yes one word would describe this property and hosts. WOW! Our stay at the boathouse was great. I can only imagine what the view and enjoyment can be in the summer months. The hosts have certainly gone above and beyond in the planning of the boathouse. Everything and anything one would want was there. We never imagined it would be outfitted as it was. Pictures are great but don’t do it justice. Beds were super comfy. Just like home. Shireen and Andrew were very accommodating as we were cut short because of hurricane Fiona. Definitely hope to return again.

Wonderful cottage

My husband and I stayed for one week and highly recommend the cottage. Very clean and has all the necessities. The location is great with access to stores and driving distance to Lunenburg, Halifax and and wine country. For fresh seafood and lobster, , visit Colkrums fish and mussel shop just outside of Lunenburg. Our host, Shareen was great and had great communication. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful cottage and views

This place has it all! Great views, right on the bay, many great amenities, and so much more! This cottage offers a hassle free stay, and it has everything you need from life jackets to bowls for the dog! We will highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful Oceanfront Cottage

Highly recommend this beautiful waterfront cottage, everything exceed our expectations. The location, waterfront with so many decks to enjoy for dinner, sitting around the fire table or just enjoying a morning coffee watching the boats pass by. Great to have access to kayaks and paddle boards, fishing rods and so much more! wonderful host who were very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back again!

Great stay and wonderful property!

We spent a few days at this wonderful boathouse and had an amazing time! Very clean, bright and comfortable. We spent most of our time on the incredible deck watching boats pass by, so quiet and relaxing. Shireen was a great host with excellent communication. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning in the future!

Idyllic!

We had a wonderful stay at Indian Point! The Boat House was exactly as depicted in the photos: so charming, clean, comfortable, and spacious! We enjoyed time on the decks and the many water activities: paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. The proximity of Indian Point to other excursions was ideal. Day trips to Lunenberg, Peggy’s Cove, The Ovens, were a short car ride away. There was more we wanted to explore in the area but we also loved just hanging out at the Boat House! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful! Shireen always responded promptly. It is obvious they care about their guests. Thank you for an incredibly memorable stay! We hope to return soon.
