Cozy and spacious with impressive views, Mountain Ridge Cabin is a charming 2-story home that sleeps up to eight people. Mountain Ridge is only a couple of miles from Tuckasegee River access, and about 30 minutes from destinations such as Cherokee, Bryson City and Cashiers, and 45 minutes from Asheville. Coming to town for a WCU college sporting event or graduation? This is a prime spot, only 5 minutes from campus. Dining, shopping, hiking and more await you in Sylva, a short 10-minute drive.

Retreat to Mountain Ridge Cabin and please the whole family! On the walk-in level upstairs, find two bedrooms: one fitted with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed and futon that the kids will love. The living room is equipped with a traditional stone fireplace, perfect for enjoying the cool mountain air and panoramic views from the porch, then retreating inside to share family time by a toasty wood fire.

Venture downstairs to the third bedroom, den and game room, complete with additional fireplace, pool table, and bar. There's even a fully stocked game closet for the kids. At Mountain Ridge Cabin, feel like you are on top of the world without driving too far off the beaten path. Be sure to speak to your reservationist about exclusive discounts for Sundog guests at Fusions Spa and Wellness in downtown Sylva as well as Foragers Canteen, farm-to-table dining in historic Dillsboro.

Sylva cabin

The home was perfect for our stay. Exactly as described. Comfortable and cozy! Very clean with comfortable beds! And the view was awesome! Spent much of our time on the deck!! It was just a short drive to downtown Sylva and close to Asheville and other small towns as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Perfect location!

Great family gathering to see our child in college at WCU.

The views were magnificent and the cabin was decorated nicely. Kitchen had everything we needed and enjoyed the family area downstairs in the game room.

Pretty view

We enjoyed our second stay at Mountain Ridge cabin. We like the fact that the cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that feels very remote but is near many of the things we like to do in the area, as well as restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The cabin is comfortable and cozy, and the views are really pretty.

Peaceful retreat

Well stocked kitchen and really clean. Private and quiet but close to grocery and restaurants. Would stay here again. Great property management company—house was out of gas to heat house and they quickly remedied.

Mountain Getaway

We spent a magnificent week here. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The deck and the Mountain View's were beautiful. We welcomed spring with wild turkeys walking by and lots of fishing. We appreciated all the extra touches in the cabin that made our stay so nice.

Great time in Sylva!

This property was perfect for us! It was very clean with comfortable furniture and beds. The views off the deck were beautiful. The downstairs living area with pool table was a hit with my son. Nice private/quiet setting but still close to everything. Check in was simple and no problems with anything during our stay.

Great location, views and very clean

We were in town for a WCU graduation and needed a place to stay. The home was very clean and well equipped. We were able to make dinner for 5 people as the kitchen had everything we needed. The huge deck had beautiful Mountain views with comfortable rocking chairs. This place would be great for a much longer stay and would certainly accommodate many more guest.

Beautiful view of the mountains

The view was wonderful! The cabin was equipped with plenty of cookware, dishes and glassware which we appreciate since we eat most meals in. The only complaint I would have is the carpet is in need of a good cleaning as is the upholstery on the sofas in the living room.

very nice accomodations and amenities. just a little awkward getting to with the narrow one lane road. And nothing to do outside. No hiking trails, etc.

Great home with a view Only concern is the many wasps in the bedroom. Luckily, they were discovered before anyone was stung They kept falling down from the attic access in the hallway must be a nest there.

Spectacular Views

We were pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of the rental. As a last minute reservation to book for SoCon Track Championships at WCU, we took what was available for the weekend. Boy, were we pleased! Great location close to WCU, and the views were fantastic! High on the mountain we could see for miles. Quiet and plenty of space. It was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed to make the stay wonderful. Five star review! Will look to book every time we are in the Syla area.
