Villa Serafina was a beautiful escape

Villa Serafina was a beautiful escape. Meeting the owner and the tour of the villa was very convenient and we were provided a ton of information about the area. We loved being in quiet Praiano instead of busy Amalfi or Positano. We enjoyed the local beaches, restaurants and took a boat tour right from Praiano. Summer in Italy was helpful and provided extra information on what to expect.

We had a wonderful time and an excellent experience

We had a wonderful time and an excellent experience. Close to shops and restaurants, not many steps, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The view and location were the main deciding factors. Recommendations for trips to Capri and Pompeii worked well. Response time to questions was excellent and prompt.

Wonderful Villa with Breathtaking Views

This is wonderful property with unencumbered views of the sea and neighboring Positano. The location in Praiano is ideal being only steps from the bus stop, wonderful family restaurants, a beach and local market. Shared with our two adult children and the accommodations were ideal with bedrooms on one floor and living space on another so those who like to sleep in are not disturbed by those who are early risers.

60th Birthday Trip for the Triplets

Villa Serafina met our every need for the birthday trip to the Amalfi Coast for the triplets 60th birthday trip. The terraces overlooking the ocean, the location in Praiano, the cleanliness, the large size and communication with our property manager Maria were fantastic. We cannot recommend this Villa more highly, we had a fantastic time for six of us on a week long stay. Thanks for the memories.

We thoroughly enjoyed Villa Serafina

We thoroughly enjoyed Villa Serafina. The view from the balcony was stunning. The villa was spacious, clean and well stocked. Maria [the property manager] met us upon arrival and she was great. Previous to our visit she sent some great information and recommendations. She was very friendly and super accommodating. Summer In Italy is top notch. So responsive and helpful with recommendations. I would absolutely recommend and will utilize your company again in the future. Thank you.

Great Amalfi Coast option

The property is just below the town of Praiano, which has shops, grocery stores, and restaurants within five minutes walk. So convenient as a base for touring the Amalfi Coast. Bus and taxi service takes you to Amalfi, Positano (where you catch the ferry to Capri), Sorrento, or any Amalfi Coast town. The villa is clean, fit four people with a bedroom to spare, and has an amazing ocean view from both spacious balconies. We had a couple of plumbing issues (no hot water, one toilet wouldn't flush) but they were quickly addressed by the friendly staff. After four full days of touring up and down the coast we spent the last two days hanging around the villa and walking around town and enjoyed that just as much.

Six of us stayed at Villa Serafina for a week for the triplets 60th birthday

Six of us stayed at Villa Serafina for a week for the triplets 60th birthday. The villa was fantastic and was everything we had hoped it would be. The two terraces were large and wonderfully appointed with great views of the ocean. The entire villa was excellent and met our every need. With only 15 steps from the main road, the villa was very easy to reach and the location by the cathedral could not have been better. The communication with our property manager, Maria and her advice on local sites was excellent. Our entire party was delighted with Villa Serafina and we recommend it highly to anyone Luca and the entire staff as Summer In Italy were fantastic to work with and their communications were excellent and very responsive. I would use them again over other firms when I return to Italy the next time.

This place

This place!!! If I was a bit younger I'd permanently move to Praiano in an instant! If you're looking for a little bit of heaven, this is the village for you. And this villa was a dream. The view from the terraces is like none other - just beautiful blue Italian sky and an endless dreamy sea before you. The house itself is large and airy with every convenience. Take a quick walk across the street to the market, fill up the fridge (and the bar!) and you're set! Hostess, Maria, and Gemma, her right hand, took care of whatever we needed, answered every silly question and Maria in particular had maps and flyers available to help us figure out what we absolutely did not want to miss. For bus and ferry tix and suggestions on exciting day trips, see Rosalba at the Tourist Office next to the Bar del Sole. She was a wealth of info and made our excursions hassle free. And a shout out to the staff at Summer in Italy. I don't know how many e-mails I bombarded them with before we even set out for Italy, but they patiently guided us to exactly the right town, right villa and right time of year, resulting in a trip we'll never forget! Grazie!!! We can't wait to come back!

Great location and amazing views!! Air conditioning worked amazing! Didn’t mind the spiral staircase - burn off all the calories from pizza, pasta and wine. Good communication!!

I love the location in Praiano

I love the location in Praiano. There were nights that we saw nobody else from our veranda and occasionally the next guests in the villas next door. It’s a great villa to quickly get away from the crowds, as is Praiano in general and it’s so close to the best Praiano has to offer. The kitchen was ample and everything in the villa worked properly. It was very clean and the veranda was not only extremely large, there was also shade at most any part of the day. The veranda below offered more privacy and additional shade. (This is one of the reasons we picked this villa as we have learned with this westerly view it can get very hot in the afternoons. This is coming from someone who resides in Florida.) Everything was wonderful. While I normally like to deal directly with owners for the best service, Summer In Italy was the best management company to deal with in every aspect of the pre stay right through the entire 5 weeks we were there. I’d say better than any owner could have been.

Villa Serafina's location in Praiano was perfect, right in the town but still in quiet place and the view from the villa and the terrace is amazing. You can see the sunset. Morning sun shining to the front of the house where you can enjoy breakfast. All bedrooms located in the ground floor which is good if you want to go to bed earlier than others staying in the same villa. Summer In Italy provided all the support we needed and answered all our questions. Very helpful employees.

Our family of 4 stayed here when visiting this area of Italy. It was perfect! The house was lovely. The house was a short walk to the beach and accommodated my husband and I and our two teenagers very comfortably. We enjoyed our stay here very much. We loved Praiano! It was not too busy and close to all the little towns we wanted to visit along the coast. You made it very easy and convenient to book and get to the house. Thank you.

We had 6 adults and were very comfortable with plenty of room. The property is very safe and clean. We enjoyed the upper terrace in the evenings. Our clothes dried easily after washing them in the washer. We did not cook at the house since we enjoyed all of the local options, but did use it for drinks, and snacks etc. Bring a sound machine if you like some noise to sleep. Well thought out pieces of furniture and chairs to put your luggage and clothing on. Air conditioning worked well and the view you will never tire of looking at. I received an informative letter from Luca prior to arrival that helped with information about the local area. Also while I was deciding where to stay Luca was very helpful and honest about properties. I was very happy to find Villa Serafina as I had hoped and even better! The charm of the villa will make you smile. We loved the locals and town, friendly and welcoming. Great distance to take a day trip to some other Amalfi Coast towns and then come back “home”. We found some of our favorite “regular” coffee, eating, drinks and hanging places. The closest beach is very cool, the steps can be intimidating, it is worth it, take it slow and reward yourself with an amazing lemon spritzer or cold coffee at the best bar/cafe and view on the way home! The church and it’s square by the villa is charming and nice to walk thru and hang out at. One of our adult sons rented a scooter for the day a little walk down from town for 60 euro and loved it. We did not have a car, didn’t need it and I was happy we didn’t have to worry about it. Tina [the caretaker] was a perfect hostess and made check in very easy. I will absolutely stay again in Villa Serafina if we come back and I will be giving the information to any of our family and friends if they are planning on going to the area.

Villa Serafina was wonderful

Villa Serafina was wonderful. Clean, quiet, and close to the center of town. The view from the two terraces is gorgeous, just what you imagine when you book a trip to the Amalfi Coast. Our host was helpful and extremely communicative. Would definitely recommend this villa. Summer In Italy was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. The long informational document that we received about the villa was useful. And I greatly appreciated that when our 2020 trip was cancelled due to Covid, they allowed us to keep our deposit in the form of a credit, which we gladly applied to a new booking in 2021.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Serafina. The view from the terraces was good. Access was reasonably easy even for older people like us. The caretaker was most informative and helpful. Many thanks for allowing us to check-in early. Smooth service from Summer In Italy, with good tips and information. Excellent.
