Villa Serafina is an elegant and welcoming two-story independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps six people. From Villa Serafina you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri. Villa Serafina is 140 square meters (1500 square feet). It features two private terraces with a view of the sea and of the coastline, a private patio, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Praiano, a few meters (feet) from restaurants, shops, public transportation and the beach. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 120 meters (390 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia della Gavitella) at roughly 500 meters (550 yards) including 400 stairway steps (other beaches with less steps to climb are also available in the area). You will reach Villa Serafina from the street level going down a 100-meters (330-feet) public route that includes approximately 15 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Serafina. If you do have one, you will be able to park it in the village, for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

Tourist tax, paid locally: From March 1 to November 3: EUR 4.00 per person per night for the first 7 nights. Guests aged under 10 are exempt. The house is an ancient building on two levels, connected by a wooden spiral staircase, which clings to the rocky cliff. You will be in the first row in front of the sea and of the spectacular panorama of the coast of Amalfi: in front of you there will be just a short tract of coast covered by the vegetation and the sea.


Villa Serafina is located in the area of the historical center of Praiano which is called Vettica. Vettica stretches over a sloping land between the main coastal road and the sea, where you will find characteristic small white buildings with dome roofs, interconnected vertically by narrow stairways, and horizontally by just as narrow alleys. These stairways can be travelled over only on foot. Along these alleys you will find ancient votive aedicules, with the image of a Saint painted on ceramics. The owners of the properties along the alleys used to build the aedicules on the external walls to mark and protect the property itself.


Walking along these alley is pleasant, notwithstanding the steps, because at every turn suddenly a new and enchanting view of the coast and of the sea will appear in front of you.


Every house here has a small garden or a yard full of flowers. Scattered among the houses there are small plots of land, where neat vegetable gardens are grown, thriving at any time of the year with vegetables and perfumed citrus trees. They are as nice to see as flower gardens.


The original local residents of Praiano live in this area, where there are no tourist crowds.


As guests of Villa Serafina you will have at your disposal a private tennis court.


Staying at Villa Serafina you will enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of amazing beauty, and you will also have a base to visit Pompeii, Paestum, Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta.


You will be able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast and the characteristic fashion and artisans' shops, as well as attend the many cultural and artistic happenings that take place throughout the year.


Those who like go out at night will find that the Amalfi Coast has a lot to offer: from piano-bars to very exclusive night clubs. 
Entrance LevelTerrace 1
The first terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola and by a retractable awning. It is equipped with a small sofa and two armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella, a deck chair and a sun lounger. From the terrace you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and of the coastline.
Patio
The patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with benches. On the patio you will find a brickwork barbecue.
Living Room
The living room is paved with elegant majolica tiles. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include sofas and two armchairs. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room also has a window. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and other small appliances. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The kitchen has a window with a view of the patio.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the kitchen. Bottom LevelTerrace 2

You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. The floor is paved with handmade tiles with inlaid designs, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 3
You will be able to enter the third bedroom through an access area. It has a single bed (80 cm/32 inches) and a pull-out single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom 1
The first bathroom is tiled with lucid white and blue majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through an access area.
