We loved it

We loved it!! Loads of room to spread out and the pool was brilliant! The house is enormous and has so much to give. Anna the house keeper is really helpful and lovely. It was really hot while we were there and we appreciated the air conditioning. Everything worked perfectly and all our questions were answered promptly and honestly. Thank you for one of our best and most restful holidays!

We had a great trip

We had a great trip (3 adults, 3 kids). The farm next door was a great touch with all the animals. Would highly recommend. High up in the hills with a gorgeous view of the sea and superb sunsets.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Gioconda

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Gioconda. The location is stunning, with views for miles. We lived outside the whole time and whilst the house had 2 kitchens, living room etc we just stayed between the kitchen, the terrace and the pool. The space is perfect for shared family time. The whole family enjoyed the pool, plenty of loungers and the towels provided were a nice touch. The weather was mid-30⁰ when we visited but the air-conditioning kept us comfortable at night and we slept well. We have to give a special mention to Anna [the caretaker] who was the most incredible host. We appreciated everything she did for us, including the cake and cheese she made us. She made our holiday just that bit more personable and memorable. We look forward to booking a stay with Summer in Italy!

It was everything promised in the booking and the host was great. The view, especially the sunset silhouetting the island of Capri, was magnificent.

Our stay was perfect! The villa caretaker even prepared two wonderful meals for us!!! Location, pool, condition of the villa, and price was primary factors in our decision to pick this villa. And it was the right one!

It was very nice. The two women who took care of the house were very nice. The pool was excellent and was cleaned every second day. We were very satisfied.

The view from the villa was gorgeous loved sitting outside and just taking in the view. The pool was an added bonus - though the air was a little cool we made good use of the pool. And Anna made sure the pool was kept clean for us- she was great! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of country living and seeing the horses and animals - could not have asked for a better spot for us. I could not have found a better company than Summer In Italy! You answered all my queries from beginning to end in a very prompt manner and went out of your way to help me with any issues I had - on a scale of 10 I give you a 15! Grazie Mille!

We had an amazing and relaxing week in this enormous villa with a fantastic view. Anna was wonderful, gave us some homemade cheese and olive oil and even baked a cake for us. Great experience with Luca and Summer In Italy, excellent communication, and information. I certainly will use your company again if I should book my next villa in Italy!

Amazing huge villa to stay

Especially with kids because of the pool. The house was very clean and spacious. Two large kitchens offered very nice opportunity to cook at home. The view from the terrace is just amazing. Also Anna, our host was amazing! Very helpful and kind. Totally recommend!

We had an amazing experience at Villa Gioconda. Our host Anna was so attentive and sweet. If you are seeking some solitude, a beautiful view, and an authentic experience, this is your place. We had so much space for the 4 of us. The house is enormous. Summer In Italy was very helpful and contextual as we planned our visit. Thank you!

Beautiful house

Very beautiful house with a great view over the Amalfi coast. Ana is very nice and baked a cake for us. A bit difficult to have a conversation with the ladies. Ana just speaks Italiano and her daughter in law just a little German but no English. The children loved the pool. The place was clean and big.

We had a lovely time at the villa

We had a lovely time at the villa. The location and proximity to beaches, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii was fantastic. We had great access to the grocery store. The on site manager was wonderful! She picked fresh figs, made some delicious cheese for us and kept the villa and pool clean. Thank you for all of your help with the washing machine, and thank you for your daily pool cleanings, fresh figs, and cheeriness! Great experience with Summer In Italy! Your group provided excellent communication, and I loved the voucher information and newsletters. I will use your company again to book my next villa in Italy!

We were a family of 9 people and spent one week at Villa Gioconda

We were a family of 9 people and spent one week at Villa Gioconda. We really enjoyed the villa, its wonderful open view and the outdoor spaces, where there were enough sunbeds and room for everyone. The bedrooms were very comfortable with good air conditioning. Every day, we had the precious help of Anna [the caretaker] , who discreetly took care of everything with great attention. She looked after the pool, the plants, the garbage, and was always ready to assist us whenever we needed something. Thanks to her, our stay was even more comfortable and carefree. This villa is definitely an address to recommend. From here, it is easy to explore both the Amalfi Coast to the north and the beautiful region of Calabria further south. The communication with the Summer in Italy team was easy. Love Italy Thank you, it was all perfect !

We loved our stay in Villa Gioconda

We loved our stay in Villa Gioconda. We definitely needed a car as there are no shops within walking distance. The villa was very spacious and my grandsons loved playing games of hide and seek inside and out. The grounds were also spacious and had very good views of the coast. Youngest grandson loved lizard spotting too. The pool looked very inviting and the boys did go in once, briefly, but the weather was not conducive to swimming for most of us. Summer In Italy were recommended by a good friend and were very easy to interact with and extremely helpful in all aspects of our holiday. Their notes on the website was also very helpful. I would certainly book through them again.

Hübsche Villa mit Ausblick und Ruhe

Wir hatten eine wunderbare und erholsame Woche in dieser Villa. Von der Terrasse und vom Pool hat man einen traumhaften Blick. Nicht nur die Kinder haben den Pool geliebt. Er ist groß, sauber und erfrischend. Insgesamt ist in der Villa und im Gartenbereich sehr viel Platz. Wir hatten alles so vorgefunden, wie es in der Anzeige beschrieben war. Die Zimmeraufteilung war auch unkompliziert. Eine Gästeliege hatten wir in ein Doppelzimmer gestellt, damit die 3 Mädchen zusammen sein konnten. Am Morgen kam jeden Tag eine Haushälterin, die sich um Garten und Pool gekümmert hat. Insgesamt war es ein toller Urlaub.

Would 100% recommend staying here! The house is beautiful, the hosts are lovely and the location is hard to match. You get privacy and a wonderful view 😍 We have already started talking about returning! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Villa Gioconda!
