Villa Castalia is a splendid and luminous two-story villa situated in a quiet location, surrounded by a wonderful garden. It sleeps 12 people. It is approximately 130 square meters (1400 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a spacious private terrace, a shared patio, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 4 km (2.5 miles) from Fasano, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find a grocery store at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile) and the closest beach (Spiaggia di Savelletri) at 7 km (roughly 4.3 miles). You will reach Villa Castalia from the parking area along a short walkway that cuts through the garden and has no stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Castalia you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge inside the entrance gate.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 7 meters (23 feet) large by 15 meters (50 feet) long, from 1.30 meter (4.3 feet) to 1.70 meters (5.6 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a sinuous shape. It is filled with sea water. The area is equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will have a view of the garden. You will share the pool with the guests staying at the villa at 2 other double bedrooms. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of April until mid-October.
Patio
The patio is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic porch. It is equipped with two wickerwork sofas and two armchairs and with a table, chairs and a swing. Here you will also find a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the patio you will have a view of the swimming pool and of the garden. You will share the patio with the guests staying at the villa at 2 other double bedrooms.
Garden
The garden is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It is partly shaded by characteristic olive trees and by tall pinetrees. The garden is equipped with masonry benches, as well as with a table and an hammock. The garden is shared with the guests staying at the villa.
Dining Room (Common Room)
You will be able to enter the dining room from the garden through an external access. The floor is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are rural and characteristic of the house of Apulia. The eight dining tables can accommodate 16 guests. The furnishings include a masonry bench. In this room you will also find a television (local channels). The room also has two windows, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. The dining room is shared with the other guests staying at the complex.

The parking area is shared with the other guests staying at the complex.
Ground FloorKitchen 1
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the patio through an external access. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The kitchen also has a window.
Bedroom 1 - a suite with en-suite bathroom
This suite is made up by three interconnected rooms: a sleeping area, a sitting area and a bathroom. You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the patio through an external access. The floor is paved with elegant majolica tiles. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). There is a big and elegant fireplace made of stone. The furnishings include two armchairs and a desk. In this room you will find a large flat-screen television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the patio with a view of the swimming pool through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the garden through an external access. The ceiling is vaulted. The terrace is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. You will reach it going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 26 steps. It is partly shaded by an awning. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will have a pleasant view of the swimming pool and of the garden and of the surrounding countryside.
Kitchen 2
The second kitchen is equipped with a two-burner gas cooker, a small refrigerator without freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate two guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the terrace. The kitchen is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 6 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the sixth bedroom from the kitchen.
