* 10 minutes to American Airlines Center, Medical District (UTSW), Texas Trust CU Theater, Lone Star Park, and Downtown Dallas
* 15 minutes to AT&T Cowboys Stadium
* Many restaurants, shops, and parks are within a 5 minute walk

***We only accept bookings from guests with positive reviews. Guests will be able to instant book the Nut House only with positive reviews from previous hosts.***

DESCRIPTION
- Cottage is 70 years young and 850 sq ft.
- Washer/Dryer only available for guests staying 5+ nights.
- Streaming TV with DVD player in living room only. (No TVs in bedrooms).
- Master bedroom with Queen, medium firm memory foam mattress. Door with lock.
- 2nd Bedroom with Full size, medium firm, spring mattress. Door without lock.
- Twice wrapped pillows.
- Thermostat is pre-programmed and cannot be adjusted by guests.
- Guesthouse in backyard.
(We also live in the neighborhood and are always available via message or in person, should any concerns arise).

Vrbo withholds a refundable damage deposit of $59 while booking. If there are no claims after your stay, this deposit will be refunded in full.

HOUSE RULES
- No parties/events, smoking, drugs, unregistered guests/visitors, or pets allowed.
- No wearing shoes inside home. (Please respect this rule).
- To help preserve the original hardwood floors, please pick up rolling luggage.
- Please respect check-in and check-out times. Check-in is after 5pm and check-out is promptly at 11am. Our cleaning crew has us scheduled anytime between 11:30am-4:30pm. An early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional $50 fee.
- Please take care of the furnishings. Payment required for damage/theft/excess cleaning (ie, rugs, upholstery, hardwood scuffs).
- Please do not wipe makeup with towels.
- Please wash your dishes.
- Garage is not available however driveway parking is available for guests.
- Please specify purpose of visit, number of guests, and your agreement with house rules at time of booking request.

Super clean and cute property! We had a slight issue with internet and heat when we checked in, but the awesome hosts had all of our problems resolved in about 15 minutes. The hosts were very attentive and resolved issues quickly and effectively. Quiet neighborhood and a perfect central location for a weekend in DFW. House was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Very clean and pleasant stay! Cannot recommend this property enough! 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at The Nut House in Irving! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and thought has been put into this home. Perfect little home

Property was VERY clean, beds comfortable, nice hot shower and good coffee! We were only there one night but it was plenty room for us and close to Holy Trinity Seminary. Lots of restaurants close by. No trouble getting in. We would stay here again.

Great Place for a Short Stay

This place was accurately described. Very convenient if you plan to visit the Irving Arts Center. The house was quaint and cozy. There were a few minor details when it came to cleaning but other than that the place was very clean and came with extra towels and linens. Conveniently had soap and lotion for users discretions. Was a little on the cold side but not freezing.

Better than a hotel

It was a little hassel to get the keys, but in the end all was fine. We adhered to the house rules and the stay was comfortable. Furnishings were sparce, and I thought mats in the kitchen would be a plus. The front door is not sealed and the noise from the neighborhood filtered in. All and all it was good accommodations. The picture of the outside does not convey the houses adsjacent from the house and that was a little sketchy!

Clean, Well Appointed, Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute, clean, well appointed cottage. Iram and Kiet have really put so much thought and love into this place and it shows! Everything we needed was already there for us, even things that seem small were thought of. Salt & Pepper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, some thoughtful snacks and beverages, to name a few. The owners were easily accessible for anything we needed and were so quick to respond. We would absolutely stay here again. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept and the location is so close to the freeway and everything we needed!

Perfect location for a show at Toyota Music Factory!

Spotless home, with beautiful restored floors in an older quiet neighborhood super close to many things! Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the coffee! Will definitely stay here again for our next music road trip!

Staycation in DFW

This was the cutest little property for my friends and I staycation in the DFW metroplex! Great spot close to lots of attractions and the house has great amenities. Definitely recommend if youā€™re looking for a little getaway!

Convenient little house

This was perfect location for splitting all the fun between Ft Worth and Dallas. Plenty of amenities in the house and the owners were very nice and accommodating. Happy with our choice.

Charming small house, great access to DFW

This house served all my needs during an extended work week -- meeting held at a DFW hotel. It was a nice escape from isolated hotel life to head back to a quiet home, close by, and within easy driving distance of anything you might need. Hosts were responsive and respectful.
