Le Petit Bayou is located 10 km from Nevers and a 25-minute drive from the Magny-Cours racetrack (host to numerous car, motorcycle, and other events).
You can swim in the Allier River and go fishing there with your fishing license.
You’ll be staying in a natural setting protected by UNESCO.
On foot, you can visit a gourmet restaurant, the organic market on Friday afternoons, or the hair salon.
The village of Apremont, one of the most flower-filled in France, is worth a visit and is just 7 km away.
Bicycles are available (see terms and conditions). You can go for bike rides along the canal to explore the surrounding villages and the port of Nevers on a safe bike path. The Nevers tourist office can provide information on all the activities and attractions in the region.
The bathroom is located on the owner’s property. We plan to install a solar-powered shower on the boat.
The accommodations are available starting at 2:00 PM and must be vacated by 12:00 PM at the latest.
We accept late arrivals provided we are notified in advance.
Rentals are available by the night, weekend, week, or month.
Please bring your own bed linens, towels, and washcloths. However, if you wish, we can provide a kit for €10.

We have a place to stay in the village and can provide you with assistance and tourist information about the village and the surrounding area.

The boat is available for rent only while docked. The boat is not seaworthy.
The boat is located in Cuffy, in the hamlet of “Le Guétin,” a small French village listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, 10 km from Nevers. You’ll enjoy seeing the double lock, its canal bridge, and its wild beach with a view of the Bec d’Allier as it flows into the Loire.
Taxis can take you to the Nevers train station, 10 km away. Exit 37 toward Bourges on the A77 highway is 10 km away.
