Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so happy to hear the house was perfect for your daughter's birthday celebration and that the game room provided lots of fun. Its central location is definitely a great bonus. We’d love to host you again for another memorable stay!

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the stress and inconvenience caused by the last-minute change to your reservation—especially while you were already on the way for Mother’s Day weekend. We completely understand how frustrating and upsetting that must have been. We’re very sorry for the communication issues, the confusion with the paperwork and VRBO app, and for any interactions that came across as rude. That is not the level of service we aim to provide. Your feedback has been shared with our team so we can improve how unexpected situations are handled and communicated in the future.

Hi Jorge, thank you for your review of our cabin. We apologize for the inconvenience with the backyard being unfenced and will be sure to pass this on to our maintenance team so they can take a look at it. Thank you again! Regards, Destination Big Bear

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate it and are sorry that these maintenance issues impacted what you were hoping would be a completely stress-free stay—especially given your expectations for a higher-end property. While we’re glad none of this stopped you from enjoying time with your family and that our maintenance team was responsive, we absolutely understand your frustration with having to troubleshoot issues yourself during a paid vacation. That’s not the experience we want our guests to have. Your comments about the water heater, sink leak, yard debris, and overall communication are taken seriously. These are all items we are actively addressing to ensure future guests do not face the same inconveniences. We also appreciate your honest note about the signage—we’ll review that to strike a better balance between helpful guidance and guest comfort. Thank you again for your honesty and for staying with us. We’re glad you still found the home nice overall, and your feedback will help us improve moving forward.
