More beautiful than we imagined!

This property was perfect for our group. We had a blast using the shuffleboard table and hot tub! Location was truly breathtaking, would stay again!

Great time in Shenandoah

We had a fabulous time!! The view was phenomenal and we loved sitting out on the patio enjoying the beautiful autumn foliage. Can definitely attest to the steep drive up to the house but enjoyed how peaceful and secluded it was! Thanks for allowing us to stay here for our anniversary getaway

Shenandoah Sunset

A magnificent view. Huge living room. Beautiful bath and shower. Would definitely rent here again. Also enjoyed the fire pit in evening with the beautiful skyline in the background.

Golf Trip

We enjoyed our stay. House was as advertised with the exception that it does not have 3 sets of bunk beds. Just a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. That was a little disappointing.

House is not utilized on routine basis. Property closed up and smelled musty. Draperies and or curtains heavy with dust and debris , likely hanging greater than 10 years so opening windows only increased risk of ventilating dust and musty smell. Washing machine door taped shut and the mildew inside rampant. Cob webs evident on walls and from floor to floor sweeping draperies.

Beautiful, secluded oasis!

Our family had such a great time at this property! It was nice, clean, private, and has gorgeous views. It's extremely private, but is located in a quaint farming town with lots of charm. My only complaint is that the outdoor activities are less practical than we expected (there wasn't much hiking to do on site, and the fields are all on a pretty steep slope, which made outdoor games difficult). But all-in-all a great stay, would definitely recommend!!

Stunning Views! Great Property!

The house offers absolutely stunning views of the mountains. Watching the sunset on the back deck is really beautiful. The hosts provide all of the little things that most hosts don’t think of. The house is super clean and very nice with so many amenities. What a gem! We all couldn’t believe we found such a nice place hidden in the mountains. The hosts are very responsive as well. Perfect stay in the mountains!

Beauty

The perfect mountain getaway! Most of the time you'd have to hike a few miles to catch a glimpse of the valley from that vantage point. This view is absolutely immersive and panoramic! It was too windy for us to use the fire pit outside. But the woodstove more than made up for that and created the perfect mountain vibe for the adults to relax and enjoy the view. The basement is the perfect kid zone with plenty of room and games to keep them entertained! We loved it and will be back!

Unbeatable Views and Comfortable House

The views from the dining table and from the patio are outstanding. The house has plenty of space and comfortable furniture for all seven of us to have a great time. It's a house in the woods, so, as others have noted, there are bound to be bugs around. It was stinkbugs for us, but they are harmless and the property owner told us about them beforehand. I would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views are beautiful, the house is spacious and comfortable, the wood burning stove was warm and created a great atmosphere, and communication was clear and stress free. Would love to stay again!

Second time staying here

We love this place. We rented it a year ago and decided to come back before Thanksgiving and bring the in-laws. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to cook or entertain. My kids love shuffleboard and we played many, many games. The hot tub hadn't been cleaned very well, so we only got in once. The owners were very apologetic and refunded us some of our rental fee. Very easy to work with and communication is A+

Beautiful views, privacy and plenty to do!

This house has one of the most gorgeous views from its back porch that I’ve ever seen. While you are out in what seems to be the middle of nowhere the house provides plenty to do within its own property. My only complaint, and I’m not sure how much the owners can fix this, but the amount of stink bugs that was in and outside the property was pretty bad. Each bed room had what seem to be around 10 stink bugs hanging around on the windows, drapes, or some linens. It made me check all my sheets each night to make sure I didn’t have bugs inside. There was a nest of them inside the patio furniture cover that was laying outside when we arrived. Luckily, they’re pretty harmless and easy to handle, just don’t be surprised when you find stink bugs clinging to a wall in each room. Overall, the house was really nicely kept, and was clean when me and my group arrived. Like I said, it was a beautiful home inside and out. The only issues are the tiny pests!

Beautiful Fall Getaway

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a great weekend here. It was a quick trip to Strasburg for antiquing and brunch at Pancake Underground. The views are stunning and we spent most of our stay eating, drinking, and chatting on the deck and patio. The house was welcoming and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The owners quickly responded to a question we had a check in. I'm hoping to stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay. It was for my wife’s 40th surprise bday party. Everyone loved the house. Plenty of room, great views, 10 minutes from Strasburg I -81 exit. We stayed here last year. Some major renovations done since then. The deck is one of them. It’s amazing ,composite boards, nice lighting. The WiFi was improved very fast. To many positive things to list on the house. It’s a great place for all ages. Hot tub fire pit corn hole boards board games smart TVs nice kitchen. It’s secluded but there’s so much to do close by. The driveway is steep but you’ll get used to it after the first time up.

perfect family trip

The beauty of this house and the mountains are stunning. We all loved our vacation. The layout is extremely welcoming and spacious, no one felt jammed up or too far apart. Sitting under the stars with the fire going and music playing was the best therapy, especially during covid. The house was super clean. Not a long trip into Strausburg and surrounding fun things such as skyline drive, canoeing and the most charming i've cream store in Front Royal. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

Wow wow wow wow

This property is absolutely amazing. The views are nothing less than breathtaking. When you look out the back door on the deck you are treated to a beautiful view of the mountains. Watching the sunset was so relaxing. During our visit we were treated to a thunderstorm that we got to watch come over the mountains. The house is a gem as well. We had ten people and everyone had plenty of room for sleeping. The basement game room was a favorite of the kids. The only thing I wish we had was a bathroom in the basement. We had an ac issue during our stay. The cold air was not working. We called the owner and she was super responsive. We had a tech out at the house at 7am the next day. That was impressive seeing as we called her on a Sunday night. The tech fixed the issue and we were on our way. I appreciate the fast response of the owner and it really shows how well they maintain the property. Finally, the drive up to the house needs to be taken very slowly. It’s 15 mph and they are serious about it. The top of the drive is very steep and you will lose sight of the road when you summit. If you take it slow you are all ok. We love the Place and already planning our next trip
