This house sits 1 block from trendy Western district in Historic Douglas/Edgemere neighborhood, neighboring Crown Heights. It has private parking off the street & is walking distance to various entertainment and eateries which includes: Will Rogers Theater, Sushi Neco, Mushashis, VZD's, The Wedge, StellaNova, SpeakEasy, Rococo, Sapangos & many more...
This cozy home was build in 1940. The kitchen was remodeled in 2013 adding exotic granite counter tops with new appliances also including a new washer & dryer. The bathroom was also updated in 2015.
The freshly refinished wood floors & crown molding in this house gives the feeling of nostalgia when preparing to walk over to Will Rogers Theater for an event or the SpeakEasy for a drink or hear a band play!
This house is also only $10. Uber or Lyft ride from downtown Oklahoma City which includes Historic Bricktown! (depending on seasonal rates) only 4 miles from Paycom Center home of the 2025 NBA Champs!
If the nightlife does not appeal to you then this cozy house has comfortable queen beds with a spacious living room and a 65" TV. The large front porch is also nice to relax on or take a stroll to Douglas park just 2 blocks into this beautiful neighborhood which also has bike and running trails.

Weekend Getaway

The house is so cute and in a great location. Lacey was amazing and quick to respond when we had questions. We will definitely stay here again. Our pup loved the yard!

OKC family trip

We had a wonderful time at Lacey's place. She has a clean and welcoming home. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge back yard. Quiet neighborhood. Everything you need is a few minutes away. We have enjoyed our stay everytime we book her place. We highly recommend Lacey's place!

Cozy Cottage

We loved everything about our stay. It was so close to everything. The beds were very comfortable, and the sweet snack basket was very thoughtful. We were there for our daughter’s Softball tournament, and also to see the college World Series. Thanks for making a family from Alabama feel at home!

Perfect Stay!

Cozy, clean, comfortable! Lacey was wonderful every step of the way. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog. Neighborhood walkable and safe. Nice parks close by. Lots of restaurants, too. Can’t say enough nice things. Will definitely stay every time we come to OKC!!

Great location!

We came for a weekend get a way and this house was right in the middle of all the things we wanted to do. We traveled with our 10 year old son and our small dog. The fenced backyard was a huge bonus! And communication with the property owner was super easy! Would stay again. Thank you.

Great location and very homey

My husband and I needed a place that would be accommodating for us and our 2 dogs while we attended a wedding. This house was perfect for us. We loved the fenced in backyard and the extra privacy. We don’t have that at our house in Missouri so we really enjoyed that feature!! Thank you for hosting us for the weekend and your vrbo home is adorable and perfect!

Home Away From Home

We felt very comfortable and safe at Lacey's house. If I were buying a house it would be just like that and in that neighborhood. Loved the backyard for my puppy and to be able to have the auto off the street. Close to everything we needed! Thank you!

Charming home with perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at Lacey's home. It was full of thoughtful touches and stocked with everything we needed. She had great communication and was very willing to help with anything we needed during our stay. The home was in a very walkable location and we took full advantage walking our dog around the neighborhood. The home was full of fun eclectic touches that sparked many conversations between my parter and I. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again!

Warm and cozy home!

My family and I love staying at Lacey's home!! Its so warm and welcoming. Its our second time staying for Thanksgiving and enjoyed our stay. Lots of houses nearby were decorated for Christmas so we would ride around at night looking at the pretty lights. Plenty great places to eat nearby. Comfy beds, cozy recliner, and nice sitting area in the huge backyard to enjoy our coffee. We hope to stay again soon. Lacey is also very easy to reach when you have questions and quick to respond. Thank you so much Lacey!!

Perfect home away from home!

Great Neighborhood. Yard was awesome. Off street parking was a major plus. House was clean, tidy, everything you could ask for down to the tiny touches of make up removing towels you forgot you may need. The history of the home and neighborhood including furniture all there for you to read. Lacey was extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We were visiting for a soccer tournament and a player's parent had to cancel at the last minute. Lacey allowed us to add him to our reservation without hesitation. Awesome experience will definitely stay again if ever in Oklahoma.

Warm & welcoming home!

We had a great stay at Lacey's rental. It was very comfortable and inviting. The nearby neighborhood was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We ate at Hunny Bunny, cattlemans, hideaway pizza, and new state burgers which were all amazing! We had a nice time at the Myriad botanical garden, Bricktown, and the Christmas pop up market. I've visited OKC for the past 9 years and this was the first time I truly felt at home in a rental. Lacey is a wonderful host. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

First timers

We had a great stay for our first time in OKC. I had a work conference downtown and decided to extend time in OKC for the weekend and it didn’t disappoint. It was much better than a hotel room for us two couples to share. We walked to the coffee shop and enjoyed the area. I definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy and welcoming

Very nice and close to everything we wanted to check out while visiting. We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency. Would recommend to anyone and would stay there again if we visit again.

Plenty to do, Cozy home

Lots of options of things to do within walking distance, or a short drive. Both malls within 15 minute drive. Parking in the gated yard was so appreciated as we didn't have to worry about our vehicle or items in it. The house was exactly as listed and super cozy to just relax in as we were hoping to do. A sunshade in the backyard adds a nice shaded area for seating in the backyard. Lacey was excellent with communication. We look forward to returning in the future for a weekend getaway.

Great house!

I loved that there is a pull through gate on the privacy fence to park our car. The house and neighborhood felt extremely safe. The house was immaculately clean! It was a great location to get to every where we needed to be, from downtown to the Zoo and even Walmart. I would recommend driving though the neighborhoods rather than highways just to see the historic homes. This home and the wonderful host helped us have a great weekend! Will definitely stay again when in the area!

The location was good and the beds were comfortable and the backyard was good for dogs.

We had an issue with the lockbox. The instructions only gave a code and the lock box was on a gate. It's not very easy to find when you're tired and have two young kids. The door handle on the bathroom fell off. This could have trapped my children I side. It was setscrew that held the handle on had come loose. I was able to tighten the screw so it would be secure and had no other problems.

MIO (made in Oklahoma) Born and raised right here in Oklahoma! I was born in Moore, grew up in Tuttle/Newcastle area, right next to the Braums farm, yes Braums!! So from farming to the city, this girl knows how to handle a hammer!! This is my first home I bought in 2008 while attending OSU here in OKC. When I got accepted to UARK I rented my home & moved to AR. I graduated from UARK in Fayetteville, AR with a Biology degree then moved back to bustling OKC where I am currently working on getting into a PA program here in the city. I live with my husband and 2 dogs just around the corner and enjoy being back in this area very much! HOME SWEET HOME!!

I have enjoyed renting my home and plan on continuing because it has been a great experience & bonus I meet an array of different people whom I love to accommodate! I have been told that I should run a B&B, but to me this is the next best thing!!! I have had several Investors call with offers because they want to redevelop this home which was build in 1940, but I just can not see it go, it is too cozy and nostalgic to be tore down and replaced with a contemporary house so I decided to keep the old girl going! I replaced the ac/heat unit, roof, updated kitchen/bath, but have kept the rest for its nostalgic flapper era persona!! I genuinely love this home and look forward to continued restorations to keep her running beautifully!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The thing I love most about this home is the quiet privacy, yet still walking distance from shopping, restaurants, & cafe's. Also the close entrance to I-35 made it easy for going downtown or north to Edmond. Walmart and the Penn Square Mall are within 1.5 miles away so it is easy to stock the fridge and closet both on the same run!! I also rent my Rav4 Hybrid on a car app so this is a great option for guests flying in to stay! Ask for details!
