The Amazing Casa Azul

Just back from the second time at this beautiful apartment. What can I say this place is amazing it has everything you need a real home from home. Well appointed apartment

This was an ideal apartment for two couples because of the two bathrooms. It was lovely to have a good view of the pool. It was well equipped and included a washer, oven, dishwasher and a TV with British programmes.

Excellent apartment in a great location

This was our first stay in Los AlcƔzares and it will not be our last. My husband and I stayed for 18 nights and our daughter joined us for 8 nights. The apartment was superb, clean and comfortable and in the best location by the pool. We loved how close it was to all amenities and the area was flat, ideal for anyone with mobility problems. The owner was easy to deal with and was very helpful with regards to us altering dates and allowed us an early check in and late check out. Altogether a first class apartment and a lovely resort.

Absolute Gem of a rental property. real home from home. Easy booking through hosts and good communication with Caroline the owner. Support team in Los Alcazares were really good and helped with Transfers from & to Airport. Well located for all activities, no need for car rental, supermarkets within a 3 min walk. A lovely bright apartment in a good area

A lovely apartment, close to all amenities and restaurants. It is a very quiet area with walks along an attractive promenade. The apartment is well equipped and bright and airy, with a nice terrace for soaking up the sun. We particularly appreciated being collected from the airport and took advantage of one of the arranged trips to Cartegena. Would certainly use this apartment again.

Lovely apartment in excellent location

We had a wonderful holiday in this lovely apartment which is really well equipped with everything you need. The communal pool which was never busy is right outside the apartment and there is plenty of space to sunbathe. The square with restaurants and cocktail bars, the supermarkets and beach are all within easy walking distance and the property owners have left really handy pamphlets to provide all the info you need. Communication with Caroline was excellent as well as that with the property managers. Would highly recommend

Fantastic apartment, ideally positioned within easy walking distance of the beach and all amenities.

Fabulous 2 bed/ 2 bathroom apartment in Los Alcazares/Narejos. Case Azul is a lovely place and the owners have done a magnificent job to use this spacious apartment wisely, whilst providing all that you could need for a holiday in a very tastefully decorated and themed house (which can be seen from the online pictures). The apartment is roomy, bright, comfortable, uncluttered and clean whilst having everything that is required and looks out onto a nice communal pool which was fastidiously looked after daily, even in December! My experience at booking the apt at fairly short notice was very easy. A couple of emails to and from Caroline followed up with a quick phone call to confirm everything was in place sorted the booking. The place is very clean and freshly decorated with lots of nice touches to make it stand out. The fact it has 2 newly decorated bathrooms (1 en-suite) means that it also gives great flexibility and independence for 4 guests.The information books provided helped me to get off to a flyer as far as the location of local amenities were concerned and some local tips on restaurants etc. Speaking of which, it is perfectly placed for Supermarkets, outdoor markets, restaurants, bars etc, as well as an easy 7/8 min stroll to the wonderful beach/promenade. From there a nice walk towards the buzz of the more traditionally Spanish Central Alcazares town area is worth frequent visits for great tapas and atmosphere. I was the out of season during the lead up to Christmas which was great for long strolls up and down the beach/promenade in 20+ degrees and 9/10hrs sunshine. However, as it's not just a tourist area, there was always plenty going on and enough places open. I would anticipate it gets a lot busier in July/August but the apartment has plenty of parking outside if you are hiring a car. It's also ideally located for trips up and down the coast via the AP7 which is reached within 5mins. The weather was fantastic for my whole stay and the locals/expats I spoke with told me that, although it was @5 degrees warmer than normal, it still has the same amount of sunshine and daylight most years around this time which is a real benefit compared to the UK. I also did a bit of touring around the general area including the likes of La Manga and La Zenia, including the massive shopping mall there which is worth a visit. I will most definitely look to book Casa Azul again and look forward to returning to the Mar Menor. John M.

Our holiday was as relaxed and entertaining as can be with a 3 year old and 4 month old. The villa was perfect for us four and catered to all our needs. In August 2014, we spent two weeks in Los AlcƔzares and instantly fell in love with its charm. The town's blend of convenience and tranquility made it the perfect spot for our family. We loved how close everything was, and the fact that no car was needed made it even better.

One day, we walked past this apartment and saw a For Sale sign. That moment changed everything. We never looked at another place because this one was perfect. Our kids adore swimming, and the direct access to the pool was a dream come true. After seeing other apartments, we realized just how fortunate we were to find this gem. The Spanish ambiance on hot summer nights is magical. Youā€™ll see groups of men playing ball games, children enjoying the streets, and families dining outdoors. Mornings are equally delightful, with older locals relaxing in the Mar Menor and the promenade bustling with walkers, runners, and cyclists before the day heats up.

In the quieter months many restaurants stay open and the sun and warmth remain year round. For us this is a chance to explore further afiend - the coastline and towns and cities to the south of us are beautiful, with some fabulous walks.

Los AlcĆ”zares offers the best of both worlds. If you seek peace, itā€™s there. If you desire a livelier atmosphere, youā€™ll find that too (although this is never a hen/stag party town), all within a short distance from our wonderful apartment.

Our apartment is truly unique, standing out for its exceptional features and prime location. Situated in one of the best complexes in Los AlcƔzares, our apartment enjoys one of the best positions within that complex. We offer two spacious terraces, front and back, so you can enjoy sun or shade at any time of day.

Designed to feel like a home away from home, our apartment includes thoughtful touches such as beach towels, buckets and spades, and washing powder, making packing easier for our guests. We are one of the few apartments in the area equipped with both a washing machine and a dishwasher, a double shower, a Bluetooth speaker, and access to Netflix, ensuring a comfortable and modern stay.

The convenience of our location is unbeatable. The beach is just a 7-minute walk away, and there are over 50 restaurants within walking distance, yet our quiet road has no passing traffic. The direct access to the pool, just 10 steps away, is a highlight, while our large terrace and surrounding hedge provide privacy for outdoor dining. Many apartments in our small complex are privately owned and not rented out, so the pool is usually peaceful.

Our apartment also features excellent WiFi and air conditioning throughout, which doubles as heating in the winter months, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round. With its prime location, exceptional amenities, and thoughtful extras, our apartment is the perfect choice for a memorable holiday.
