Nestled in the Arts and Crafts Community, within walking distance (1/2 mile, no sidewalk) of craft shops and Restaurants. Long flat driveway, roads to cabin have no steep drop offs, hairpin turns and are accessable year round!! Just 5 minute drive to well stocked grocery, 10 minutes from Gatlinburg's downtown strip and 15 minutes from Dollywood's back entrance with great outlet shopping in Pigeon Forge! Hike from the property or drive 15 minutes to Laurel Falls and 40 minutes to Cade's Cove for biking, history and wildlife viewing. Chapel in the Glen and Wedding Chapel in the Glades located less than 1 mile from the cabin. Blink electric car charging station located 2 miles from cabin.

Professional housekeeper with quality linens and towels provided.

King Orthopedic bed in master with large walk in closet, private bathroom with couples shower and deck with hot tub. The 2nd bedroom has poker set, board games, books, plus a full size bed and a door for privacy (no closet) The living room has plush sofa and a Lazy-boy recliner, gel fueled fireplace (all fuel provided) 32 in HD flat screen. Kitchen is fully equipped, table can easily seat 6. Guest bath and laundry room with new washer and dryer.

Cabin is a much loved, cozy retreat with knotty pine walls, ceiling and floors in the main room with vaulted ceilings and beams. Carpet in the bed rooms. TV in master bedroom and living room equipped with ROKU device so enjoy your favorite streaming service! Chairs on the front porch to enjoy the peace and quiet. Great yard for kids to play in. Fire pit and picnic table are on the property and you will be delighted with occasional wildlife viewing as wildlife wanders by.

We do have an exterior security camera

Come and enjoy a relaxing stay, perfect for honeymoons with couples shower in master bathroom, private hot tub, luxury linens and classic cabin décor. Enjoy an anniversary or small-family vacation. Perfect for traveling with pets or children since toys, movies, books and games are provided and there is a large yard with natural barriers to the road. (No sidewalks)

The hot tub was excellent. The property was very nice, but would have been more pet friendly if there was a fenced in area for pets since the road is very busy. Also they ask that pets be kept in the area with the hard wood floors, which was fine with us, but one of the bedroom doors wouldn't stay shut and our dogs would follow us in to the room.

Danita. I do appreciate your review, however to be accurate , my listing does not say that there is a fenced in yard. I also never requested that you keep your pets off of the carpet. I always ask guests to crate pets that you leave home alone.

The cabin was very nice! The only issue we had was the ceiling fan in the master bedroom made a noise that was too unbearable to use. My wife thought the master bathroom could use some upgrading but I thought it was fine. The hot tub worked great and was a nice amenity. The reason I only gave 4 stars for advertisement and 3 stars for value was because I felt like the lack of view should be better publicized and the price should be adjusted a small bit for that reason. Just my opinion, but we enjoyed our stay and the booking and check in was great!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The location is perfect — close enough to downtown to explore easily, yet secluded enough to feel peaceful and private. The cabin was in perfect shape when we arrived, and I had a blast watching movies and playing air hockey (even though I lost). The hot tub was a fantastic addition and felt amazing on a chilly night. Highly recommend!

I will get the bad parts out of the way first. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom was defective. When turned on it made a grinding sound that sounded unsafe, and the fan blades were noticeably drooping. This is a shame because I love having a fan going when I sleep. The hot tube chlorine levels were way too high. It was so bad that the fumes from it made us cough and irritated our eyes. So basically the hot tube was unusable. The cabin wasn’t as private as the listing implied, but I guess that is a subjective thing. Now the good. The cabin is well stocked. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The decorating was very charming and well done. The cabin is conveniently located to many shops. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but the hot tub was a real bummer.

I wish you had mentioned this during your stay. I’m unable to rectify an issue if you don’t bring it up. Even your very short stay could have been fixed with a little communication prior to a lengthy review after you leave. I’m sure the extra fan in the closet could have helped but it’s much more fun to complain.

I want all of my guest to enjoy their stay at The Apple Treehouse. I won't solicit reviews from you because your stay is a vacation! I do appreciate any reviews left but most of all I want your stay to be hassle free, relaxing and fun!
August 2015 we have made upgrades of a 40 inch flat screen and upgrades in bedding. The yard is also in a constant state of improvements. I love to work on the yard in my mountain get away!

My husband and I decided on The Apple Tree House after a long search for the perfect property. We bought it at the end of 2005 and still spend lots of time enjoying our mountain get-away. We all love hiking from the property and the large front yard. We origionally wanted a 'mountain view' but decided the large yard had a great view and we were never worried about our house falling off the side of a mountain or our children falling off a deck! Plus the roads are always passable and no one gets car sick because the roads have NO hairpin turns or steep drop offs. You won't need chains for your trip and no fear of getting 'stuck' by inclement weather
