Castle Savignac-Lédrier

At the heart of green Périgord, in Dordogne, the Château de Savignac-Lédrier is listed as a Historic Monument. For more than 400 years, this majestic place was the home of the forge masters. Below, on the edge of the Auvézère, the Forge Savignac-Lédrier is also beautifully restored.

It is a peaceful, relaxing place, away from the crowds and surrounded by forests and meadows. The castle is classified 4 stars in the category furnished tourism by the Departmental Committee of Tourism of Dordogne.

The common areas occupy the ground floor:
- The dining room, located in the big tower.
- The large living room: a room full of history (paintings, furniture, fireplace ...) but also equipped with a TV!
- An equipped kitchen and modern (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave oven, cookware, food processor ...). In the adjoining laundry room, a washing machine and a tumble dryer are available. A basic grocery store will be available upon arrival.

The castle can accommodate 9 people (3 bedrooms with double bed and 3 bedrooms with single bed, 2 bathrooms).
We invite you to consult the map in the "photos" section! The rooms are located on the 1st floor, served by a large stone staircase.

A cot is available. It is also possible to install extra beds for children and to open an additional room (with a double bed). For more information, contact us!

You can enjoy the garden of the castle (more than one hectare) to nap on a deckchair in the shade of century-old oaks, take the coffee behind the "Porte de pierre", organize a large table, dive into the pool, Or explore every corner of the orchard ... Lovers can also fish carp in the pond next to the park entrance.
