Putter's Perch at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #412) is our studio condo with a full kitchen, conveniently located near the resort amenities including golf course, heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. 10 min to ski resort, 20 min to downtown Durango. Wifi speeds are 100+ mpbs. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

This studio condo features 1 king bed and queen size sleeper sofa. A unique wooden wall separates the living area and bed adding to the cozy, shabby chic themed room. The full kitchen has an oven and 4 burner stove top, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. There is a wall mounted flat screen TV at both the bed and sleeper sofa locations, but we think you'll be more interested in the beautiful views!

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Trailers are discouraged as there is very limited, designated space to park trailers - if you plan to bring one, please inquire first.
AWD or 4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

VRC CANCELLATION POLICY: At Vacation Rental Collective, we understand the importance of flexibility for travelers when it comes to cancellations. When booking directly with Vacation Rental Collective, we offer a Moderate Cancellation Policy for this Property: A guest will receive a 100% refund if canceled/changed at least 30 days before check-in; a 50% refund if canceled/changed 14-30 days before check-in; and no refund if canceled/changed 13 days or less before check-in. If you booked on a third-party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.

What I really loved was many things were found as essentials that was a nice surprise. For a studio I found it very comfortable and homey feeling. I loved my early morning walks. Even though we dont golf we enjoyed the beautiful place it was nestled in. The place was very clean and management staff very responsive when had a minor issue.

Clean and comfortable condo

This condo was just right for our needs. We were looking for a place with a king size bed and also another bed option (in this case a sofa bed) as we were in the area to move our youngest child into her dorm room at FLC. The dividing wall between the "bedroom" space and living room was perfect to give our 18 year old a bit of privacy the one night she was with us. We loved the property and this unit was impeccably clean and comfortable.

Very Comfortable Accommodations

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve thoroughly enjoyed our rental unit #412. The wall divider created a setting of more two rooms than one huge efficiency suite. The age of the property shows in some things. The efficiency kitchen was fine for us. Only , the cabinets are tall and high above the counter making it difficult to reach items for short people. There is limited dining on property and one dining room was closed during our visit. It is a short 20 minute drive to Durango. Our main complaint is that for the daily resort fee included it the cost of the rental, we did not basically use or experience any of the resort amenities. Families will probably get more usage of facilities. As a couple we did not. Overall it was a good stay. Especially glad to have AC on the hot days during our stay. .

We normally ski in the big name resort but with covid we chose the smaller resort. This condo is cute and fit us. The kitchen is small but enough for us to make meals. I usually pack my own amenities (you know just in case) but this condo has everything you need. Our condo was right by the elevator along with washer/dryer and ice machine. We did not hear any of those operation. There was a shuttle but we did not utilize it. We drove to/from the ski resort. It was not bad of a drive. Cute small town. We would come back in the summer to hike and maybe white water raft.
