Spacious, private with heatable pool and King Size bed and close to downtown

Casa Cozumar is a modern house with a private pool near the center / downtown, but not touristic. In direct neighbourhood you have lots of restaurants, groceries or whatever you need. Within a footwalk of max. 10 minutes you are in the center (plaza), at the ferry, at the ocean...
The living room and the bed room are equipped with silent (inverter technology) ACs. The kitchen is provided with everything you need for cooking.
There is also a gas BBQ in the terrace.

WIFI is available and for free.
The house has a living room with kitchen, a separate bed room with a king size bed, a bathroom and a terrace with a pool.

In the living area and in the bed room there are Smart (Roku) TVs with standard apps to log in with your streaming services.
There is also a Amazon Echo Show 5 with Amazon Music unlimited.

The pool can be warmed up in the winter months. Please keep in mind that it is not a hot tub.

For stays longer than 1 week we will arrange with you when we can do the weekly pool maintenance and bring you fresh linen.
If you would like the house cleaned during your stay let us know and we can organize that.

Absolutely lovely stay! Comfort and Location!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 10 day solo stay here! The location is fantastic - I rented a car and a bicycle but you can easily get to town and the waterfront without either. Groceries and restaurants are also within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and the property is very clean, comfy, spacious and secure. The pool is perfect. It's deeper than it looks in the pictures, I'm 5'5" and it's about shoulder depth, which is absolutely perfect for a good cool off, I was in and out of the pool day and night. The bed is comfy and the couch is also (I'm not usually impressed by a couch but it really is awesome). Netflix and Amazon Prime are available on tv, as well as YouTube for live US news. The kitchen has all sorts of cookware for a meal or snack. Angelika is a super responsive and friendly host and it was such a pleasure to be her guest!

Fantastic Hosts

Wonderful place! The location is good with a small walk to Centro. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. They care about their place and took very good care of me. Because of my poor planning I actually needed a couple favors and they were extremely gracious. Thank you!

Awesome Stay Great Property!!

First time using a vacation rental property for me and it was so easy with Michael and Angelika. They communicated so effectively from day one. The service they showed me was outstanding. They helped me out even after my stay was "officially" over when my flight got cancelled. They returned back to airport to pick me up and let me stay again for an additional night which was so nice of them. They even had an arranged snorkel trip they invited me on. As far as the property it was a beautiful home just perfect for 1-2 people and the location was great. Easy walk to markets and restaurants. The ocean is just a short 10 minute walk. Bed was so comfortable and all the finishes in the house were of high quality. I loved having the pool at the end of each day it was so refreshing to cool off under the stars. I love this property so much I reserved already for next year. Thank you for such a nice place. Exactly what I needed and was looking for.

A week in Cozumel

Upon arriving, check-in was easy and the home was just as nice and clean as the listing showed. Some fresh fruit, cold water and a few goodies to snack upon were available. Casa Cozumar feels like a home away from home. It's clean, spacious for one or a couple. Fully equipped for enjoying a nice peaceful vacation. Angelika was very responsive to a couple needs I encountered. Overall it was pleasant, close enough to walk a few places and a quick taxi to all the action of middle Centro. Will definitely return when visiting Cozumel!!!

Great way to see the town

We stayed at this house for 4 days - the location is good for anyone who rents transportation during their stay because we drove up and down most of the streets that are blocks away from the main drag downtown, we got to eat local food this way and see a lot of local life - but it is a bit of a walk if you're wanting to be on the ocean the entire time (anyone healthy won't mind it this at all, we walked a lot, but if you're needing to be on the water the whole time this is not exactly convenient for that) THE HOUSE IS AMAZING - they have everything you can possibly need, even a cell phone which you can use to communicate with the owner if your own is not working due to being in a different country. The pool cools down at night enough that it is refreshing to dip into after a long day in the sun. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked perfectly and everything is very very clean. If we come back to Cozument we will definitely stay here again. (The host communicated with very quick responses, we couldn't find the house when we arrived, she drove around looking for us to make sure we were okay) Thank you very much for everything! :)

Great place, some noise from the road when you are in the courtyard but barely any noise inside, the pool was great to chill in.

After about 20 years working for one of the biggest IT companies we - my husband and I - thought that there must be something else in life than working until 67 dealing with bits and bytes.

We fell in love with Cozumel the first time we were here for vacation. It's the people, it's the beautiful beaches with one of the most clearest water in the world, the weather, the food, the cultural background, diving and snorkeling, relaxing, easy living ... You cannot find another place like this in the world!

So, in 2009 we bought a casa - Casa Cocos - on this beautiful island and did everthing to come here forever ...

... With good luck we managed in 2016 to cancel our jobs and to live in paradise, build a new house - with a guest house called Casa Cozumar for rent ... everything seperated from our house - and have vacation in Germany meeting friends and family.

As a host I try to implement those things that I often missed as a guest ... Feeling welcome from the first second with a glass of wine or beer, just being able to relax on the top roof or patio after a long trip without needing to go shopping for basic things.
