It has 3 bedrooms and 2 common areas, one has a pullout couch and the other area you can put a blow mattress that we do have on site.

Mountain retreat

Lovely property complete with Mountain View, graceful deer, busy birds, wild turkeys, colorful wildflowers-well taken care of and plenty of space for kids to explore after long car rides in the park. We had a delightful time. Thank you for your hospitality.

Family vacation

Extended weekend getaway, property was peaceful and spacious. We had a great time exploring the beautiful surrounding area. Lots of supplies for cooking meals and plenty of seats to gather at the dining table for games. Minimalistic interior design, tv did not function, and could use more chairs in the living area. Over all a beautiful property and would stay again!

My Review

The property was very clean and roomy. Master Bedroom was very roomy but had no place to put suitcases. Could use a dresser in bedroom to put underware and socks in. Had to live out of suit cases opened up on floor. House in general could use more furniture. In living area, only one 3 seater couch for our 4 people. Dining area was roomy and sufficient. Kitchen area was roomy and sufficient. Had trouble getting TV on lower level to work and called owner and issue was resolved. Would be nice to have a notebook in the house explaining how to work all the TV's, heating and cooling and any special instructions as to what needs to be done upon checkout. Loved the setting of the house and the frequent wildlife spotted in the yard (deer & turkeys).

No email or communication as to check in our check out prices not via email or text not in the bill at the home. I called the owner to get info to get into the home, he said the door was open. Upon arrival Someone was parked at the front of the house and parked there every night we stayed, we rented the home to be able to use the home, but that didn’t seem to be the case. We didn’t realize someone was living in the basement, I did see it is in the listing. As we go into the house we head to the bedrooms and come to find that the home listing was very different from the actual listing. Home listing states 3 Queen beds, bunk beds, and 1 King bed. What the home really has, King bedroom Set of bunk beds in 2nd bdrm Full in the 3rd bedroom and nothing else in the home. . We had 3 couples and a child and rented this home because it said there was a bed for each couple, absolutely not the case. We found out the next morning after there’s mice in the house, one in the toy room and one in the upstairs bathroom, just disgusting. That same morning we found out the key doesn’t work for the front door, there’s no no code for the keypad, the key only worked in the back door. Outside the back door in one of the posts there’s a hornets nest living inside it, there coming in and out making it very difficult. The door that goes into the basement had a zip tie and the light was on continually. The living room tv doesn’t have a remote and when you manually turn it on there’s no cable. So many things about this place we didn’t like. We were glad to leave. Took out the trash, removed bedding and towels based on other homes we’ve stayed at. Just unfortunate they can charge a high price for something so unappealing and incorrect.

Awesome Location

The location of this property is perfect if you're looking for quiet, serene and relaxing. Enjoyed watching the many deer traversing the yard and eating from the apple tree. A few minor things to note: Cable TV not hooked up for our visit Air mattress only held air for 1/2 hour each night. No pump. We blew up with hairdryer. Only 1 sofa, perhaps not the most ideal for 8 people. Porch was amazing, however only 3 seats on the porch. Gentleman in basement was not David and his TV was quite loud til 2am many mornings. Our parents don't hear as well as the rest of us so they took the main floor bedroom suite and were able to sleep through most of the noise. We kept our food packed up as there were a few mouse droppings in kitchen each morning. We were in Montana with family for our son's wedding so we didn't spend as much time at the house as we normally would. The owner responds promptly. House was well stocked. Great dining room! Washer/dryer very helpful! Very clean other than few mouse droppings. Huge windows to watch wildlife including upstairs sitting area. We would definitely visit again. Beautiful home in a terrific location! 1/2 hour to most everything, but that's Montana. :)

It was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Wildlife was seen daily and very convenient to Glacier National Park and other sites. It was a much needed escape from reality.

Very nice home

Our stay was very nice. House is remote which we wanted. Updated and clean. Dave, the property manager, was helpful and told us where to go in Glacier to see wildlife. Travel time to west entrance of Glacier is about 30-40 minutes. Recommend renting.

Spacious and quiet

This property was big enough for our group of 10. Only 3 bedrooms, not 4 like the listing says. It was quiet and the wildlife was fun to watch. For us, closer to amenities would have been better, but if you want to be more remote it’s perfect for you.

Quiet and Close to Glacier

We enjoyed our stay here. Every night we’d see deer and turkey walk right through the yard. It’s close to Glacier and the Jewel Basin. Dave, the host, was also very kind. One thing I would note that the listing does not state that the host lives in the basement. There were no issues with this as Dave was quiet and he also provided some great tips for the area. Just wouldn’t want anyone to be caught off guard that this isn’t truly a stand alone home.

Property and house were wonderful. Very spacious and sleeps 10. 30 minutes from glacier and airport. Only thing was house only 3 bedrooms not 4 in case anyone really needs 4 bedrooms. Otherwise awesome place😊

Great house in the woods!

The house was great and we loved our stay! We saw soooo many deer and coming from Las Vegas, it was exciting to have a little family greeting you on the lawn in the morning. I know everyone here probably thinks they are a nuisance and eating all the plants, but if you don’t get to see tons of wildlife back home, Be prepared for a deer bonanza! Only downside is that the house was listed as having 4 bedrooms but it only has 3. No biggie on our end since we only needed the three. This house would be perfect for families and even have a crib in the master bedroom. The trampoline would also be fun for kids. Thanks again Karen for sharing your lovely home!

Great getaway

This was such a nice location & quiet & relaxing. We had a houseful but it didn't seem like it...the kids enjoyed the trampoline. Definitely be staying there again.
