NEW FOR 2025: Refresh on the inside with paint, trim, twin mattresses, etc. Beach renourishment is expected Fall 2025. Beach erosion is in progress (it comes and goes) and if the immediate Periwinkle beach access is inaccessible to walk, you can access the beach at the neighboring Clam Shell public beach access or at Freeman Park (North of Carolina Beach Pier). FOR 2022: coffee table, end tables, and nightstands.

Welcome to my family’s HOME away from home! This 2nd floor, end unit, spacious two bedroom, two bath condo features 4 sliders (2 overlooking the ocean and 1 in each bedroom) and windows in the kitchen and living room that let in plenty of NATURAL light! Well-behaved, groomed pets are welcome (additional $150 fee) and RELAXATION is required!

The master bedroom includes an en suite with walk-in shower, queen bed, and balcony. The second bedroom includes two twin beds and balcony. The second full bathroom includes a tub with shower. The recently remodeled kitchen includes all major appliances and accessories. The washer and dryer is located adjacent to the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a big dining table that sits 6. PLENTY of room for sitting, eating, and RELAXING! The living area includes seating for 5 and the couch folds out into a queen size bed. The OCEANFRONT balcony is SPACIOUS with a bar height table and four chairs. You can people watch and see the waves hit the sand from the balcony.

There is a 65” HD SMART TV in the living room, 28” HDTV in the master bedroom, and 32" TV in the guest bedroom. Each TV is either SMART or connected to a ROKU and has access to Spectrum cable through their app. The house has wireless internet, FREE-WIFI. SPACIOUS parking for two vehicles. One spot is covered and under the building and the other is near the beach dune. Please bring your own sheets, linens, and towels. I also recommend bringing your own pillows. Dogs are welcome north of the pier all day, everyday. During peak summer season (April 1st through September 30th) dogs are welcome on the beach in front of the condo before 9 am and after 5 pm.

The North End Carolina Beach Pier is located less than three blocks away and features the High Tide Lounge Bar/Pub. Located above the pier, beach goers may drive their vehicles right on the sand and pets are welcome YEAR-ROUND.

Also, not too far away is the Boardwalk (restaurants, shops, rides, games, and pier) featuring the EXTREMELY POPULAR Britt’s Donuts! NOM NOM NOM

Rates are subject to change until the reservation is confirmed. Please note that VRBO charges you a service fee and I can't remove it. Check-in is at 4pm, checkout is at 11 am.

Tim, the owner is a kind and gracious host. It was very unfortunate that the beach access was closed during our stay due to the erosion of the beach. Tim made every effort to make up for that even though he isn’t in control of weather - but wanted to make sure we had a nice stay. While it wasn’t ideal in terms of not having the beach in walking distance, we made the best of the week. The view from the condo was beautiful.

Our stay was amazing. We checked in a little late. We were extremely tired and it was very nice to arrive to an immaculate place. Our beach view and direct access was great for my toddlers (2 and 4). We went to the beach everyday while there. It was also very nice to have the aquarium and zoo close by for the kiddos. We took my mom with us and she was super happy with our stay as well. I definitely recommend this place! We will definitely be back.

Property exactly as described! Amazing view and the beach was good. We didn’t have great weather but we enjoyed our time. A bigger TV in the main bedroom would be a good addition but it worked for us and we probably wouldn’t have noticed if our weather was better. Very dog friendly area, definitely bring your furry friend if you have one. Would stay again!

The location is perfect - right by a beach access entrance and the balcony has an unobstructed view of the ocean. We loved sitting on the balcony for meals and watching the sky go dark. The condo was cool, comfortable and quiet for our week’s stay. Check in was easy; check out and house rules were all very reasonable.

Perfect Location for a beach getaway!

The property is exactly as described and the owner is immediately responsive to all communication. The unit is right on the beach. The 2 minute walk to the water was wonderful and we could even hear the waves breaking from our balcony! There are no high-rises nearby, so the beach was never overcrowded. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway.

The interior was nice. Roomy and well taken care of. Very clean. My only suggestion would be to replace the beach chairs as they were rusty and old. Only one boogie board. Had to buy chairs as these were not suitable to sit in, we did once and stained our bathing suits. Would also suggest owner to replace the porch rug. It was old and worn out. Overall, a nice place to stay, you can tell he cares. I hope they replenish the beach, as it was eroding every day we were there.

Rejuvenation!

Much needed getaway for family and dog! Wonderful view, balcony on oceanfront. It is located on 3rd floor so be mindful of stairs in & out (feeling my age definitely).

Our 1 week @ the ocean

Good. Kitchen had most everything. Maybe more KEURIG cups. Furniture not the most comfortable but ok. Deck might need new floor sooner than later. AC & Ceiling fans kept place perfect temperature. Would do it again! Weather forecast per my phone was rain everyday. No such thing at all. Sun was out daily. Beautiful weather.
Chair & umbrella rental $40/day or $150/week. Well worth it.
Full moon on 6/11 view from deck.
Lots of waves. Water not that cold.
Dogs allowed before 9am or after 5pm. Family friendly beach & unit.

Perfect Location. Great View. Instant Beach Access.

I thought a little bit about this review. It was immaculately clean for a dog friendly rental. The checkout list and instructions are blunt and exhaustive. That being said, all requests are reasonable. CB water bug is a local name for a supspecies of roach, that you may find here on occasion. Just uh, unplug the wifi if you know what I mean.

Oceanfront Second Story on Carolina Beach near Freeman Park

The accommodations were very much as described. The view was amazing and absolutely oceanfront. Location was great. We took our bikes so we were able to ride just a few minutes to get to some nightlife. Also, a ten minute walk to Freeman Park where our lab was able to run without a leash. Walked for 4 miles on Freeman Park Beach which was great. Beautiful out there. Would have liked to have walked to Freeman Park on the beach but some of the beachfront between our place and Freeman Park had some huge rocks on the beach preventing us from walking on that part of the beach. Walked to Freeman Park on the road. Pier had some damage from the last storm so that is closed now. Did go out on the Kure Beach Pier. Had everything we needed including a coffee pot. Found a Publix not far away. The inside of the condo is beachy and pretty rustic. It was clean though and the host was very receptive. Played a board game one day called Logos and that was fun. No problem getting connected to internet or getting games on tv that we wanted to see. Water in the showers was hot. We found the NC Aquarium and Fort Fisher. Definitely worth visiting. We also enjoyed the Fat Pelican (totally unique and definitely a must visit) and the SeaWitch (get the shrimp brushetta). We also found the Pilot House in downtown Wilmington. Very very good food and great vibe. Area down there fun to explore as well.

So close!

The condo and stay was awesome. It's so close to the ocean that you can almost feel the spray at high tide. Was treated to a "Super Moon" that rose just off the 2nd floor balcony. Also so appreciative of the host who had my back when I messed up the key code. He got right back to me with the correct code! : )

Pleasant 2 bedroom with great ocean view. 4 flights of stairs to get to 2a. Did not appreciate having to secure own linens. Functioned well with 2 of us.

Puppies and Friends

My friend and I and our 2 little dogs stayed for 4 nights. We had a great time. Lot's of walks on the beach. The Condo was great and very nice to sit on the porch. We wish there was more beach area though. High tide kind of left a tiny bit of beach. But overall our stay was Lovely!! Thanks

Outstanding Stay in the facility and area

We were totally pleased with the facility. Disappointed that the VCR did not work because we had our favorites ones we wanted to watch. We are "Old School" (Almost 80 years old and not familiar with electronic elements.) Next time, we will ask for the bottom floor, at our age our suitcases were almost too much.

Relaxing getaway

Condo was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Location was quiet. The view of the was good. We enjoyed the different things Carolina Beach had to offer. Tim was a very good host, he answers all our questions quickly. His restaurant suggestions were the best! We hope to come down again Next year!
