Charming and Cozy Home

I am a new Memphian having relocated from Connecticut in mid Fall. My home is my oasis. It is located in an area of Cordova called Valmont Place, a quiet and bucolic community but minutes from major highways, shopping, supermarkets, and every sort of chain restaurant and fast food location as well as international cuisines. just amazing. Airport is 20-30 minutes away. Downtown Memphis and all major sightseeing places are 1/2 hour away. I selected Memphis to relocate for its vital art scene and the known friendliness of the people. Memphis has not disappointed on either front.

Home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You will have a private bathroom and a room with double bed, an antique bachelor's chest, an antique Asian side table, plenty of closet space. The kitchen-dining area is steps from your room. Refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee pot are available for use. Kitchen is a shared space. Living room has a gas fireplace, TV and lots of artwork and flowers. My 2 loves. My master suite is on other side of living room and somewhat secluded from your bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is my studio. I am a jewelry/bead artist. Home is all on one floor. There are no steps to enter the house by the front door. and if you miss your own pets while away, my 2 small dogs, Tookie and Tiara, obligingly can step in to fill the void.

I brought with me to Memphis my 3 businesses formerly in brick & mortar stores. I now sell online and therefore work from home. I am here to answer any questions you may have about Memphis (I have been exploring a lot since relocating here) and being from NY NJ area, having lived in Ct and Boston, would be happy to partake my knowledge of these areas as well. I have spent extensive amount of time in France. My best friend being in and from Paris. I chose Memphis to relocate for their art scene. I am a bead jewelry designer, former art and craft gallery owner, special ed teacher, interior designer and salesperson in the commercial furniture business

My home in Cordova is bright and cheery. I love color and as you can see from the photos, especially the living area, color is not lacking. Although you would be sharing the home with me and my two pups, your room is very private and located in another section of the home. Cordova is well-located to access all highways facilitating easy ride to all points of interest. and at a stone's throw there are restaurants galore and lots of shopping a few minutes away.
