our first tree house, sleeping bear, plan on buliding 8 of these on our property, next one is called blue heron. open loft bedroom with king bed , and a sleeper sofa in livingroom, nice hot tub to enjoy the outdoors and views of the lake, no sunday check ins no smoking inside of any kind wash dishes before leaving

we manage the property ourselves and i live about 14 miles there .

we are around 18 miles from downtown chattanooga
Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

The location and cabin were Great. We were frustrated with getting the Check In information from VRBO but when I called the property managing company Whitley Hoover did a great job. She made sure we had all of the information we needed and was very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Sleeping Bear. This was our second stay at the cabins- previously stayed at the owl cabin.We love the property because it is centrally located to Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon. The hot tub was excellent after our hike. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed for basic food prep. The cabin was very cute and clean. Would definitely recommend staying at this place for a weekend to unwind :)

Best stay

We had an amazing time staying in the Bear Cabin, close to Chattanooga as well. Everything was clean and enjoyed the view of the Lake from the Hot Tub. Will visit again…

Weekend Getaway

Perfect getaway!

My daughter and I visited this cabin and loved our short vacation! The cabin was very clean and was more impressive than I imagined! The hot tub was clean and very relaxing!

Quaint perfection

This cabin was perfect for a quick getaway but would be even better to enjoy longer! My son and I loved everything about it! Close enough to anything we wanted yet far enough away to really enjoy the peace and quiet! Sleepin Bear is a wonderful memory for sure! We will be back to make more! It was perfect!

Decent place

With my wife struggling from COVID we really couldn’t do a lot around town so we just stayed in the cabin. The cabin was a decent place to stay, it was easy to find and located just right to enjoy Chattanooga

Great little getaway

My wife and I enjoyed a few days to ourselves. We left on the bike and explored Chattanooga. The house was very quaint and spacious! We loved it!

Enjoyable stay

Overall a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The location being next to the expressway was less rustic than expected. And the walkways stepness would be much for people that are not so able bodied.

Perfect little getaway, convenient location

We loved our stay at sleepin Bear! It was far enough away that you felt like you were actually getting away, but close enough to everything where you don’t have to drive super far. We visited rock city and lookout winery. Both were great and super close! This cabin was very clean and exactly as described. Perfect for a short weekend. It’s a little small to spend more than a couple days (in my opinion) but perfect for a few nights. The only issue we had- the bed was a little too firm!!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin still smells like it was built yesterday. It was nice, comfy, cozy & CLEAN! We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after being out & about all day. Communication with the owner was outstanding. Their responses were instant & instructions simple.

Super clean and cozy!

The cabin was spotless and easy to get to, and perfectly situated to have a quieter setting but still be close enough to the city and attractions. We had an issue when we first arrived which was no fault of the hosts. The host responded immediately and took care of it. Overall this is an excellent place to stay!

Perfect getaway cabin

This cabin is the perfect place to stay in if you want to be in the woods, but yet close enough to town. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Loved the circular staircase, the wrap around deck, and the perfectly sized hot tub. The cabin has all the amenities that one would have at home, leaving little for one to worry about while on vacation. The location couldn’t be better! It gives you the convenience of being close to downtown Chattanooga, but yet gives you the quietness and calmness of being in the woods. Loved the cabin and would definitely recommend if vacationing in the area!

Perfect for a Weekend Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was perfect. Very clean, organized, and well managed! The grill was appreciated as we were able to cook “at home” for the weekend, and hot tub on the porch enhanced the stay as well, where we could enjoy the sunset amongst the beautiful foliage. The only note I would make to future visitors is that the cabin is a bit close to a major highway so we could hear road traffic. This was not a make or break for us, but I am only noting. It made if very easily accessible and we still felt that we were “amongst the trees”, but you could hear traffic. We plan to try staying again in one of the other properties on top of the mountain! The staff was amazing and very helpful/communicative as needed. Very professionally run company!
