You'll love this cute and cozy home with lots of beds that can sleep up to 16 guests! Lightning fast (100mb) internet will support all your devices. Located on the north end of Carlsbad just minutes from most of the restaurants in the city and only a thirty minute drive to the Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Relax with your family or group in this four bedroom house featuring 2 king beds, 1 queen, a bunk bed room with four full size beds, and one sofa queen size sleeper.

The space
All brand new rustic furniture makes this house comfortable with a southwestern flair. Big screen TVs in every bedroom, and living room that will stream all your favorite cable tv shows. Your kids will love playing the Xbox with 18 digital games loaded ready to play. There is a playground set in the backyard that is completely fenced in. The dining table inside can seat 8, and an outside covered patio that can seat 6. There is also a nice screened in patio living area you can hang out in. The house is stocked with coffee maker, blender, toaster, and modern appliances. Washer and Dryer Room with ironing board. Beautiful Spacious bathrooms. Pack n Play is available for babies/toddlers. We've made sure to add all the comforts of home to enrich your stay and are very responsive to the needs of our guests

Need a new house cleaner

If you are looking for a place to sleep the beds are comfy. If you have a dust allergy this isnt the place for you. There is lots of dust throughout the home on baseboards and the tvs and such. There were all the appliances and if you have a baby they provide a pack n play.

Rough start and a smooth finish

First night was dropped because the venue had not been cleaned. Property manager got it fixed, next day was ready for occupation. Nice place, good location, Best of intentions, miscommunication to the cleaners, a small blemish on a a great stay. We will return, Carlsbad NM is a recurring visit.

Not for 16 ppl

Well in general the house is ok, it could definitely use a little TLC and some basics. There are maybe a total of 4 wash cloths and the it says 16 guests can stay here. Definitely a problem. The soaps in both bathrooms are 90% water because they have been empty so long. The kitchen is lacking for actually cooking a meal. The house is doable but I would say most definitely overpriced for quality and the state of disrepair things are in. The owners might want to give this house some attention.

First time VRBO experience

Very disappointed, we arrived late at night. We noticed that there was no power to the Sun room for the ceiling fan and lights. It wasn't till the morning that we noticed that some of the bedding wasn't clean, bathroom towels were stained, and ragget. Bathrooms were not cleaned. The backyard jungle jim was not safe for my grandkids to play on, and you can tell that no yard work had been done. The bbq grill was dirty and not maintained. It had rained and the patio cover was leaking. Overall house and property needs a lot of work. This property would be a nice place to stay if upkeep and repairs have been taken care of.

Nice Home for Big Group

The property was as listed and comfortable for 3 families. However, the kitchen appliances did not work very well. The fridge and freezer temps were low. The freezer did not keep our food frozen and the oven was very slow cooking. The keurig machine did not work (we tried many different outlets bc it looked brand new) but the regular coffee pot worked just fine. If you plan to eat out for most meals then there shouldn't be a problem. There was also no hand soap in any of the bathrooms when we checked in. The host sent a message checking in on things and I mentioned the soap - it was waiting for us at our door on the day we checked out. Overall the stay was good, but just be prepared and bring everything you might need.

Adequate, reasonable price.

This home was fairly priced and worked well to sleep the amount of people we had. Beds and couches were comfortable. Large TVs in every room. Great Mexican restaurant down the street. Upon arrival the front door lock box was broken, so for the entire long weekend we were told to enter through the back door. Once we entered the property there was a horrible smell in the kitchen. When I opened the dishwasher there was stagnant rotting black water in the bottom that smelled horrible. I discovered that the drain line for the dishwasher was not properly installed, had no sign gap or brought up high enough before discharging into disposal. Because of this waste water was allowed to drain backwards and collect in the dishwasher. We ended up just hand washing all of our dishes. The ice maker in the fridge is broken and a real bummer if you are wanting to feel you water bottles up with ice water before going hiking. There was only one dish rag or towel in the kitchen for us to use. Patio furniture was dusty and previous guests cigarette butts weā€™re on the ground. The home is older so just expect quirky things. The sliding barn door into the bunk room has the handle installed incorrectly and smashes into the wall. Multiple kids ended up smashing their fingers because of this unsafe door. Toilets not installed securely and rock when sitting on them. Both bathrooms had hair in the floor on arrival. No drain stopper for tub. Loose shower valve handles. Overall it was a good value and we just needed a place to sleep. But next time we venture to Carlsbad I will probably look for different accommodations.

Cute home, not clean

We've stayed with VRBO many times in many different cities. This was a very cute property, with nice outdoor space. (Be prepared for no grass, just barren dirt) the kids enjoyed the play area and the adults enjoyed the enclosed and covered porches. (There was a barrel of beer bottles and trash left in the backyard, which we had to keep the kids away from). It was nicely decorated with pretty linens. Great AC, Tvs, and WIFI. That being said, the house was dirty. Unswept floors in the kitchen, an old sandwich under the bed in the bunk room . Spilled coffee down the front of the white cabinets, dirty baseboards throughout the house. A wad of hair on the wall in the bathtub. The stove top burners were black with soot. I had contacted the owner before we arrived and asked if the ovens were working, because we were coming for Thanksgiving weekend. He assured me that they were. He gave us helpful hints about Covid. When we arrived there were signs on the refrigerator and large bottom oven that the ice maker and oven were not working. There was only one medium sized pot and three frying pans.A call to the owner resulted in him offering an oven in another house close by. This was unacceptable and inconvenient, so i told him we would try to buy a Turkey roaster at Walmart. He offered to pay for it , and after 40 minutes waiting to get into Walmart, my son was able to buy one. Shawn paid for it immediately upon receiving the receipt. He was very workable in this incident. He sent an email Thanksgiving day asking if we needed anything. I responded on Friday, not wanting to ruin his Thanksgiving day. There was no dish soap or soap in the showering areas, so we had to get our own. Overall, disappointing in the way the cleanliness was handled, because it wasn't! We still had to pay the cleaning fee. We left it better than we found it, and we had a great time. It is scary in this time of Covid to find a home that was obviously not cleaned before we stayed in it.

Cute house, owners very responsive

This house worked well for our family of 12. Kids enjoyed playset in back yard, adults enjoyed patio. Owner was very accommodating and responsive with small matter that came up. Overall clean except bathrooms needed little more attention as shower curtain was not very clean. Had everything that we needed for our stay.
