Escape to the Mountains Creekside!

Creekside cabins are hard to come by - if this cabin is available we suggest you book it quickly as the calendar will fill up far in advance. Escape to the mountains and enjoy relaxing on your covered deck with sights and sounds of the Webb Creek. Enjoy a fire outdoors in your fire pit, or gather indoors in your theater room with 9 foot theater screen, play a game of pool on the pool table or fire up one of the arcade games! (Multicade, Crusin USA). Many upgrades in this cabin including granite counter tops, woodburning fireplace in great room, fireplaces in each bedroom and smoker on the deck.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is located about 15 minutes from the Gatlinburg "strip", making it very peaceful while still being convenient to all the attractions in the area. The cabin was well appointed and very comfortable. Especially loved the giant showers in each bedroom.While we had no issues during our stay, Elk Springs was sure to let us know that they were available if we had any issues. Well worth the money!

Absolutely Amazing Cabin!!

About 20 mins from Gatlinburg and a little longer from pigeon forge but the drive isn’t bad at all.

Kitchen with only the very essentials was a little disappointing. Everything worked well and in good condition. Hot tub seemed to have fresh water in it but could have been cleaner. Overall, I would consider coming back.

Bathrooms had LOTS of ants both times we've stayed in the cabin. Was able to remedy it with spray, but shouldn't have to worry about poison when a toddler is present. Overall it's a lovely cabin and will probably stay again.

We had about 2 bear sightings, which was awesome for us. This is a must stay property. It is centrally located (about 20 minutes from main attractions). We loved being right by the creek because we could leave the sliding glass door open and could hear the water inside and that was very relaxing. Great hot tub out there and we used the fire pit every night. The Wi-Fi is a little spotty but no big deal. Our kids loved the game room would suggest putting bunkbeds in there for extra sleeping instead of the pull out couch in the living room. Very clean with modern amenities and only about a 15 minute drive into downtown Gatlinburg.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the cabin, the two king suites were great, the beds were a little hard they could use a nice mattress topper or a comfy mattress pad on top. Other than that sitting in the hot tub, listening to the creek was wonderful. We enjoyed the projector tv watching football and baseball and playing pool.It was about a 20 min drive to the strip in Gatlinburg but we were glad to not be in the chaos of downtown.The office texted several times to see if we needed anything, I felt if I needed anything they were available but we were all good.

The beds both need their box springs replaced. They make a horrible noise when you get into the bed, or move around in it. It's loud enough to wake you up! We still enjoyed our stay though.

The theater room was very nice but the seating was awkward. There were only theater seats, not recliners, but they were so close to the screen that it made them useless. The only other seating was wooden, backless bar stools. We love the area but missed the Mountain View, although the stream was nice. We had a constant supply of fire wood which was appreciated. Overall a nice one story cabin.

Awesome place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time! This was a fantastic place to stay for our family of 5 (including 3 young kids). The house was clean, the setting was beautiful, and it was nice not having to worry about mountain drop offs or stairs with a toddler running around. The location was ~15-20 min from downtown Gatlinburg and about 30-40 from Pigeon Forge, so there was a little driving involved with sight seeing. That wasn't a big deal though, and it was great having this cabin to come back to in the evenings. It was clean, comfy, and cozy. Agree beds were noisy, but not a deal breaker for sure. Staff was very accessible and called to check that we made it in OK. Easy to access as well. Would stay again and highly recommend!

It has an open floor plan, beautiful high wood ceilings, beautiful floor to ceiling windows that overlooks the creek (which needs its own review) Both bedrooms are king suits with a gorgeous full bath and double showers. The media/game room was so cool! The rental was very clean. I can't say enough good things about this place. the living area and both bedrooms have sliding doors that open to the creek and you can hear the rushing waters 24/7. Communication with the rental agency was 5 star! They even called the morning after our arrival to check on us. We will be back!!

Needs a new manager, the manager Absolutely sucked.

Reviewer Comments: The managment sucks, needs a new manager, the cabin was not cleaned properly and took the 3rd day of our stay to get the Ho tub clean which it was disgusting when we got there, the The maintenance man came checked the hot tub out and he was awesome and got the job done, this man is the kind of man that would be great as the manager. We still have yet to get a call from the manger which we left messages and called for her, I really think she is not manager material. Our experience was not good especially for the money we paid.

Comfy and Clean About 25 Minutes from Downtown Gatlinburg

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check-in process was very easy. We loved the single level of the place. Kitchen supplies were great. (The only thing we would bring next time would be a pair of silicon tongs and a larger skillet.) The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The mattresses are pretty firm, but we are used to a very firm mattress. The hot tub was a comfortable temperature, but the jets weren't very strong. Things we loved: the sound of the creek flowing behind the cabin, the large stone showers, the theater room.Things we weren't thrilled with: the smoker didn't work even though maintainance DID try to fix it, difficulty seeing as we backed out of the driveway, no access to the creek (long drop off), distance from town.Overall, it was a very nice place and even with the cons, we would stay again. The pros FAR outweighed the cons. And the staff at Elk Springs were fabulous. They checked in with us to make sure we were pleased with the cabin and even offered us a small discount to stay an extra night (however, we declined).

Not what expected!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at Talking Waters Cabin. The pics of the stream are deceiving. You have to climb down embankment to get to creek. The beds are horrible. Not enough cookware in the kitchen and the motorcycle game shown in pics is not there. The other two games are old and barely in working condition. For the money this place cost, I expected better. We will not stay here again. Oh and the living room/kitchen stayed hot and the a/c cannot be turned below 70 degrees. We were told to close off the other rooms to force air in living room. We didn't because the bedrooms would be hot. We were told to keep blinds closed and several of the vertical blinds were missing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed our stay but this is not one of the best cabins we've stayed at. The location on Webb Creek, although it was not as private as we expected. It is actually in a small subdivision and a road runs on the other side of the creek. It was certainly easy to get to. The shower was very nice and while we were only one couple staying here, the duplicate master bedrooms would be great for two couples. We enjoyed the decks and hot tub. The beds could be upgraded. The kitchen is adequately stocked but not great. We had a problem with ants in the kitchen area. We were careful to not leave food out, but if you left any food on the counter even for a short while it was covered with ants. We've been staying in the Smokies for over 40 years now and understand bugs happen. We enjoyed the fireplace and the cabin was well stocked with firewood. The property was clean but not immaculate. Overall we enjoyed our stay but can't give this cabin more than 3 stars. Customer service is great as always and we would rent with Elk Springs again, but not this cabin.

Amazing Stay at Talking Waters

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at Talking Waters! This was our first time staying at a cabin and it is a beautiful cabin with everything we needed. A couple of things to note that aren’t in the description: The bedrooms are right next to each other and there is not a clear path to walk down to the water (it’s pretty steep).Pros:Everything was as described. The rooms are practically identical so no fighting over who gets the “better” room. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s very large and roomy. It was easy to find and the grocery store and Gatlinburg are not too far away.The pool table was amazing and the game systems were a nice thing to have as well.The kitchen had basic appliances and cookware. Enough to get by on vacation.The beds were comfy and there are plenty of blankets and pillows.The showers are amazing! You will not regret staying here for the showers alone!Cons (not really – just stuff to be aware of):The towels are cheap hotel quality – small and scratchy, I would bring some.The seats in the game room are super close to the screen and like a movie theater. Not super comfortable. The theater screen didn’t seem to be hooked up to the internet so you couldn’t access a streaming service to watch a movie. They are really firm about messing with that system so we didn’t try to figure out beyond the instructions.There wasn’t access to any cleaning supplies so you’ll need to bring them or make do with paper towels and water. There was a sticky spot in the game room that attracted tiny ants. It wasn’t a big deal but without a mop, I was down on my hands and knees and I’m old 😂

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For starters the cabin is very nice, but there were so many issues we experienced. This was actually the third cabin we had stayed in through elk springs resort, but It will definitely be our last due to things being handled so uncaringly. Upon arrival there was a very notable “raw sewage” scent present. Upon inspecting where I assumed the septic tank was located I noticed standing water. It had rained recently, so I had hoped there was nothing to worry about. Instead though the septic tank was in fact full. A pump service was unable to come out until the following day. In the meantime, no courtesy call from elk springs just to check in with us. There were massive weeds growing in front of the balcony obstructing the view of the creek. The fire pit area was also incredibly grown up with weeds, along with a beer box containing trash and debris. I did take the time to remove the weeds just to make for a more enjoyable stay. The pictures of the cabin shows a motorcycle game in the game room which is no longer there. Needless to say my kids were incredibly disappointed. So this is what I would consider false advertising since you are essentially paying extra for a loaded game room. There were chip crumbs in the floor and pull sofa which obviously had not been properly cleaned. Upon calling to speak with a manager I was unpleasantly told there was not one available and asked if this person could call me back because she would be unable to fully listen to my issues at that time. Needless to say I never received a return phone call. Please don’t waste your hard earned money booking a cabin through a company who does value customer service and only your money. My best advice is, DO NOT STAY AT ELK SPRINGS RESORT CABINS!!!
