This charming 3 bedroom/1.5 bath is located in the Historic Village of Greendale. Enjoy a stroll through the walkways connecting various parks, shopping and dining on just a few blocks away on Broad Street. You'll love the friendly village vibe. Just an easy 15 minute drive from downtown/lakefront, if you are in the mood for a city vibe. We hope you enjoy this cozy home and the village of Greendale as much as we do!


This fully renovated Greendale “Original” also provides you with 3 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, with original hardwood floors. On the main level you will find a beautiful living room, a dining table that seat 6 comfortably, an updated kitchen, a laundry room/mudroom, and a convenient half bath.

Master bedroom with closet and dresser, queen bed.
Second bedroom with bunk beds (full on bottom, twin on top), closet and dresser
Third bedroom/office with twin bed.

Great Location

Great location and wonderful house. Great location for family with small kids. Parks are super close, downtown street is wonderful to eat and drink. Host is super helpful and responsive.

Great option in historic Greendale

We stayed at this home while visiting family. It's a cute, well-kept place within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Greendale and is conveniently located near many things in the Greater Milwaukee area. The place is comfortable and well-kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Neighborhood is safe. House is cozy. Less than 20 minute drive to downtown Milwaukee. We stayed for a weekend as a family of 5, the house met all our needs.

Lovely home in historic town.

Within walking distance to cute restaurants and neighboring shops. We went walking and met the neighbors, too. Such an adorable home, would love to stay again.

Love this home!

What a wonderful and pleasant stay! Ideal location and perfect for our needs! Close proximity to all the Milwaukee sites we visited! The neighborhood is ideal for walking, too. Whenever we come back to Milwaukee, this is my FIRST CHOICE!

Charming Place and Location

Wonderful property, well appointed and clean. The location within walking distance to the Village was fantastic. Stayed with family for a family reunion just outside of Milwaukee and was very happy to have found the listing. Having grown up in Greendale it was also a homecoming!

From the moment we walked into this adorable, clean, well decorated, and most welcoming home, we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The neighborhood (with its walking paths, coffee shops, carmel apple store and restaurants) is a true gem. And, the host was amazing!

Great stay! Loved staying in an historic Greendale original. By far the cutest exterior around. The place was well appointed and cozy. Enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and pathways through town. Owner was extremely helpful with questions.

Wonderful historical property in beautifully quaint village of Greendale Wisconsin! Host Erica is fantastic…very accommodating, prompt response, clear with expectations of renters. Home amply equipped for cooking meals and Erica very generous with the offering of forgotten incidentals and “making ones self at home.” Highly recommend this property and host!! Thank you Erika!!

Early Christmas with family

Great home in adorable village!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was perfect for what we needed. Quaint, but clean and was fully stocked with anything you could need. The Village of Greendale is completely walkable to stores, coffe shops/bakeries, restaurants, ice cream shop, and a wine bar. Flowers everywhere and many of the original homes have a decoration on their chimney, so that was fun to walk around and find! Would recommend!

Wonderful!

Such a great location. We were up for a quick trip to visit family in the area and the house was exactly what we needed for the stay. The area is fantastic and the village of Greendale being so close was a huge bonus! Very comfortable interior, the master bed was incredible. We didn’t spend a ton of time at the house but when we did it felt like home. We will absolutely be renting this place again on our next visit. Thanks again!

Cute neighborhood

We arrived after midnight and only stayed a little over 24 hours. We were not at this home long enough to enjoy the area but there was a town center within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe and had plenty of sidewalks and a walking trail. The host was responsive and check in easy.

Family Reunion Weekend

Our family of four (including 2 teenagers) really enjoyed this home, the neighborhood and the Village of Greendale. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out, but also room to host a small family birthday party with extra relatives. The lovely small covered patio was a great spot for a morning cup of coffee. Furniture and beds were comfortable, the linens and supplies were plentiful and the downtown area of Greendale is a very short walk. We ordered a cake from National Bakery downtown and it was delicious. Lots of grocery stores, restaurants and activities nearby as well. We visited the Wehr Nature Center, which has some nice trails for all abilities.

I am originally from Greendale, Wisconsin. While I moved out of state 25 years ago, Greendale is still one of my favorite places on earth. I especially love the historic village with the quaint original homes. In 2019, we decided we wanted to spend more time in Greendale near family so we bought this amazing original to make that dream a reality. When we are not in town, we open this up to renters, many who are in the same boat - originally from the area and coming back to visit family. I love when others get to experience the magic of historic Greendale village living.

Also note that I am a private host. This is not a business. We want to share the magic of Greendale with others as we cover some costs associated with having a second home near our family. I pride myself in being a flexible and responsive host. I have a very generous cancellation policy to make it easy for guests when their plans change. We do not have a property manager but we will be sure to do everthing we can to get help if help is needed. If you should have any issues, I ask that you give me chance to make them right. Thank you!!

Greendale is quaint, safe, walkable, unique, and friendly. It feels like you are traveling back to a more simpler, slow-paced time. There's plenty to eat and do within walking distance - you never have to get in a car if you choose not to. Be sure to explore the many footpaths that connect that lead off the dead-end roads between homes and woods and parks. Greendale is such a unique, special place.

Greendale originals are just that - original. They are not fancy, though they do have modern ugrades, and they are cozy and functional. They have beautiful wood ceilings and original hardwood floors. Ours is particularly kid friendly. We invite you to use whatever you find that our kids use when we are there - scooters, games, ping pong table, basketball, etc.
