Our log cabin is situated on 8.5 acres of Adirondack wilderness with amazing mountains views seen from our large furnished wrap around deck. Enjoy the quiet and privacy of the surrounding wilderness with the authentic comfort that can only come from a log cabin.

The expansive and plentiful windows and golden pine interior create a warm glowing atmosphere to enjoy with your friends and loved ones. The home offers a dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and three bathrooms, as well as four cozy sleeping spaces and a large game and workout area for activity and fun. Clean and comfortable with all the conveniences.

Outdoor basketball court, hot tub, fireplace, and spacious lawns. Bird and wildlife watching. Hunting, wilderness exploring, and stargazing. Less than fifteen minutes from Gore Mt. Ski Center, one and half hours from Lake Placid, less than thirty minutes from Lake George Village, and one hour from Saratoga Race Course and the 2024-25 Belmont Stakes.

Our stay was great! The house and property are just so beautiful and peaceful! It was nice to have a large space for all of us with plenty to do and to also be able just sit and look out at the beautiful scenery! Was not a far drive into town to walk around, shop and eat out and to go do all the activities we wanted to experience during our trip.

Beautiful and private house

This is a beautiful house (the pictures don't do it justice!) and is perfect for a secluded weekend away. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. Couldn't recommend staying here more.

Birthday Getaway

Stayed here for my fiances birthday weekend with 8 friends and couldn't have asked for a better, cozier spot to go. We did not luck out on weather but the beautiful outdoor area is perfect for plenty of activities and people. Hot tub was a great amenity as well as the ping pong table and board games. Our host was very kind and quick to answer any questions I had. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Secluded House

The house was great. Only 10 minutes from Gore Mountain by car and to downtown North Creek. The house sleeps 10-12 comfortably with room for more. I’d recommend this house to any and all groups!

Great place for families

This house was perfect for our family of 13! There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and spend time together. The kids really enjoyed the game room in the basement. The information in the house was very comprehensive and helpful and the property is beautiful. Highlights were the proximity to Gore Mountain and the hot tub. Highly recommended for large groups!

Winter Get Away

Love the house, love the property, love how close it was to Gore Mtn. Own was very quick to reapond. Just make sure you have all the info written down to enter house, because there ia very little cell service. Once in the house wifi is great😊

Just What We Needed

Rich's and Shannon's property and amenities were great! We were in town to ski and the 15 minute drive to Gore Mountain was easy and scenic. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views from the deck were nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The towels and bedding were in great shape, nice and clean. Communication with Rich was easy and quick. We didn't have time to use the trails but are looking forward to doing that on our next visit to this place. In summary, we got just what we needed, a great place for 3 families to get together, eat, sleep, and relax, with no issues what so ever. Thanks!

Awesome accommodations, great views!

Stayed for two nights mid-week for a family get together. Plenty of comfortable space for 9 guests, took advantage of gas grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Great view off the balcony each morning. Very clean and easy communication with hosts. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay in the Mountains!

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend at Rich and Sharon's home and had an amazing time! The home is beautiful and secluded with amazing views. We appreciated the large amount of firewood provided, 100% recommend for future travels!

Secluded Getaway

Fantastic! Rich and Sharon were great to communicate with and very responsive when needed. The place was immaculate and tucked away in a secluded area made it enjoyable for a weekend getaway with friends. Perfect distance from the main part of Lake George to get there and back with no issues. 10/10 would recommend to others wanting to stay in this are.

If you are looking for an immaculate, comfortable, beautiful, private home with incredible views and full of fun amenities for the entire family to enjoy, then this is the house for you! Rich was quick to respond to any questions that we had and went above and beyond to help us with any issue that arose. We would definitely recommend and would love to return again!

Great Place

Great house with plenty of space for a big group. Lots of space for lawn games, great views of the mountains and relatively close to Lake George for restaurants and boating in the summer. I defiantly recommend it, our group has already start to plan a return trip.

Good house but can be much better!

The host was excellent and responded to our queries really well. The place is neat and clean in a beautiful setting. We were a group of 3 families and stayed there for 5 nights. I felt thats slightly too much since the place only has two bathrooms and gets a little cramped with more 8 people. Plenty of place to sleep though but bedrooms are split onto two floors. Once a neighbors dog wandered onto the property and our host immediately drove up to talk to the neighbors. Overall a memorable trip and good time with family and friends.

The house was great.

The house was great. Just as shown in the pictures. Richard was super responsive to the few questions we had. The deck, hot tub and grill were top end. Nice large yard with a good view. Short drive to allot of activities.

We are natives to the area and continue to work and live here. My wife is a librarian at one of our local libraries and I work from home as an energy supply consultant. Our four children have grown and are mostly on their own now. Our first and only granddaughter lives nearby and we live to spend time with her, and our children.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We moved to this property in 2011 when our children were in the local high school. We still own the house we moved from which is located about three miles from this location. We chose this home because of the ample space it provided for our large family which was not available at our other home. Now that the kids have grown we feel that the extra space is too much and we are moving back to our smaller house.
