This is a great property. Beautiful drive to the location through curving roads. When driving up the gravel road, you pop over a hill and see the cabin. Highly recommend if you are looking for an isolated retreat in a slightly rugged outdoor setting with great comfort provided both inside and out. The hot tub is hot, there are fish in the pond and a great area for the whole family to be in out back. I will for sure try to rent this place again next fall.

Great destination for a weekend

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. The property had all of the amenities we needed and plenty of space to hold all of us.

serenity in the woods

This was a very relaxing getaway. The outside porch with chairs and firepit really allow you to enjoy nature.

Had a great time

We enjoyed staying here. Saw deer and turkeys in the area and spent the weekend "unplugged" which was much needed. Would do it again anytime.

Just what we needed

This property was perfect for my husband and I. We wanted a place out in the middle of nowhere with plenty of space, clean, and with a functioning kitchen and hot tub ofcourse. The scenery was beautiful and the whole ambiance of the cabin was so peaceful.

Woodland Castle

Property is in a nice private area. Only complaint would be the deck around the hot tub and on the roof need replacing and, the hot tub jets are on their last legs. It’s a nice weekend get away retreat and you certainly aren’t roughing it.

Fun Thanksgiving Retreat

We enjoyed the property! The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and the coffee pot and Keurig were a hit in the morning. The weather was very nice so we enjoyed walking in the woods and the hot tub. It was fun to watch some movies from the large selection.

Excellent Cabin

Very easy to book this cabin. Cummacation was excellent. Cabin was wonderful. Soft clean bead and towels. Plenty of things to keep the kids happy. We all loved the hot tub also. We will be back. It was wonderful!

Great spot A+

This cabin was off of the beaten path and had everything we needed (including a horseshoe pit). Weather was great so we missed the foosball and pool tables. The driveway has a decent slope so get ready if you are riding low or towing a trailer. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful seclusion

This house was the perfect place for stargazing! My wife and I actually brought an air mattress and enjoyed several nights of stargazing from the upper deck. Saw several shooting stars. House was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Only suggestion would be to stock a lighter or matches for the grill but minor issue. Thanks for the much needed relaxing getaway.

A secluded retreat!!

Love the cabin!! Very relaxing weather out front on the porch or out back in the hot tub our playing games. Bring your own outside chairs for the back. There are tables and benches but if relaxing out back wood can be uncomfortable. Nice pond to fish with plenty of bluegill and small bass. Lots of kitchen ware that the wife did enjoy. Thiers even ps2 with games for the kids if you bring with you. All in all i give a 5* rating!!

Girls' Weekend

A Woodland Castle is a great cabin!! This cabin sits back off the road and is very quiet. We woke up to deer in the back yard while we drank coffee watching them thru the kitchen window. The only thing I would be prepared for is this cabin is on a heat pump. It is very warm upstairs and very cold downstairs. We reached out to the host to see if there was wood for the fire place, but did not hear back for several hours. We were able to drive into town (Trafalgar) and purchased 5 bundles of wood at the gas station for the weekend and it was perfect! I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Nice Girls’ Weekend

This home is in a lovely setting. Very secluded and quiet. The home had everything we needed and was, overall, very clean. However, in the full bath on the second floor, there’s some black mold growing on the ceiling and the tub/shower is surrounded by wood that gets wet. This may cause problems for someone sensitive to mold/mildew. It’s also worth noting there is not access to a washer and dryer. It wasn’t something we needed for our weekend trip, but something we noted would be an inconvenience if we returned for a longer stay. We enjoyed our stay, though, and would stay again for a weekend trip!

Location & Stay Quaint and unique but...

We enjoyed our stay from the location of cabin, to the amenities of kitchen, pooltable and fuseball, hottub, horse shoes&short hikes and the Nashville events we hit. However, the shower on main level was out of commission and that put a wrench in the 5family member schedule and stay. It appears from the guest book reviews that the shower has been out of commission for a while. We reached the management team, but heard nothing from the owner. So warning to those who look to stay and get what you pay for, ask about the shower on main level and see to it that it's been fixed, otherwise you'll have one shower to work with for your stay. Also a note about the showers, they are not user friendly, meaning if you're handicap or even a bit older and balance issues, the showers are a bit tricky with the curtains and no walls to brace yourself. Feedback

We had a great time this weekend and really enjoyed your cabin. We plan on returning!! There were a couple of things that we wanted to mention though. -The hot tub when we got there said ‘HL’. The hot tub was a little warmer than body temperature so we still were able to get it, but got pretty cold quickly and would have used it more if it wasn't for that. When trying to see if we could change the temperature it would switch from ‘HL’ to 104 degrees but never got warmer. We wanted to express this so you can be sure it is working for your next group. -We did wish there would have been access to the cabin from the back door, we understand if thats where laundry was, but it was a little inconvenient having to go to the front door every time. -Lastly we thought more lighting in the backyard would be great! Thank you and we plan on booking again in the future.
