Looking for breezy, sun washed mornings? For unstructured, unhurried afternoons? Come escape to our quiet retreat... where simplicity is a style unto itself, where comfort is everything, and everything is simply beautiful!

Our charming oceanfront beach cottage is located on a quiet private street in the tranquil seaside community of Ormond by the Sea and is set up to satisfy all your needs for total relaxation. Come experience Loggerhead turtles nesting year after year, enjoy breathtaking views of space shuttle launches, or simply relax on our quiet and beautiful beach! Everything you need is provided, from chairs and umbrellas to towels and beach toys...all you need to bring is your swimsuit! Looking for activites? Spend a day or two golfing, fishing or sailing! Interested in racing? Daytona Beach and the International Speedway is only five miles away!

Dining in or out is easy with a local grocery, donut shop, small shops and quaint restaurants only a short walk away. Our kitchen is a fully furnished for any dining experience... from paper and plastic to crystal and candles! Whether you choose our dining room with a beautiful picture window overlooking the ocean, our ocean-side porch for an outdoor bar-b-que, or the beach itself, your meal will be enhanced by unspoiled ocean views and sounds.

As the day ends, enjoy a beautiful sunset walk on the beach, or a beverage ocean side. Daytona nightlife offers all sorts of entertainment, or if you're in the mood for something quiet, simply pull out a movie from our stocked armoire, fluff up some feather pillows, grab a quilt and settle down for a relaxing evening. At nights end, let the rhythm of ocean waves lull you to a peaceful nights sleep! We truely do offer you the perfect vacation getaway. Uncrowded. Unspoiled. Unforgettable!!!

The house is well located with easy access to the beach. There's a grocery store a short distance away. The neighborhood is quiet which may be due to our visit being in the off season. The kitchen is well equipped. Dry goods are available for use. Most accommodating. We pretty much had the location to ourselves. So relaxing with a great view of the ocean.

Beautiful cottage and the location is right at the beach! We love the secluded private drive and quiet neighbors. This is my family’s go to beach vacation spot that we’ve stayed at a few times and bring our pups. Trish the host is very easy to communicate with and is always a pleasure to reach out too. Highly recommend this charming place!

Beach View Beauty

The property provided impeccable accommodations with fantastic views of the ocean. The beach was just a short (100 steps) from the house. The owner was great to work with.

Beachfront bungalow

My husband and I were looking for a no stress getaway and we saw this posting online. The pictures were accurate the cottage was completely stocked with everything we needed. Trish the owner was very responsiveand quickly called the garage door keypad repair man when the key pad didn't work. The owners obviously have families stay because the cottage was completely stocked with games, puzzles, beach chairs, beach toys and towels. The location could not be beatwith a view of the ocean right from the large livingroom window. With a 1 minute walk to the waters edge we couldn't have been happier with the location. Thanks Trish for the wonderful memories and we hope to be able to return one day.

Beautifully updated beach cottage

We had a lovely 3-week stay at this cottage only a few steps from the beach. The cottage had everything we needed—a thoughtfully updated kitchen, nicely-organized beach gear, comfortable beds, cozy living area, a closet full of games. This beach north of Daytona is quieter and more neighborly and we loved being able to walk to several excellent neighborhood restaurants nearby or, for larger shopping, take 2-minute drive to Publix. Great place to stay!

Fabulous vacation hideaway

Ultra clean, modern, beach house that provides numerous necessities and accessories for a worry free, comfortable, and fun filled holiday. Very quiet and private beach is a 30 second stroll away. Ocean view from the large dining table and living room is wonderful. I hope we can enjoy another vacation in this hidden gem next year.

Perfect Location!

We loved our stay at Trish’s place! That VIEW!! The house was very clean, and is decorated so beautifully with everything you need during your stay. The neighborhood is quiet and our pup enjoyed sitting outside with us enjoying the weather. Great communication from Trish during booking and throughout our stay. Our entire family can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect place on the beach. Has everything you could need to play on the beach- beach chairs, towels, toys, all the things you can’t bring on the plane with you. And plenty of room in the house for the whole family.

Amazing Beach Front Cottage

We had a great stay in this cottage by the sea. The first couple of days were pretty cold, and the owner was relentless to get the heat working; sending a tech out at night and staying up until 1 am to make sure it was fixed. After that, we had warmer days and it was so nice to be able to walk 1 minute to the beach and to have a panoramic view of the waves crashing on the shore. The cottage was clean, tastefully appointed, and stocked with just about everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this great little cottage, and if you do decide to stay, head down the road about a mile to Alfie's Restaurant and get a piece of the BEST key lime pie you'll ever have!

A Heavenly Stay and A Memorable Family Visit!

This Beach Cottage was breathtaking, peaceful, restful, tastefully decorated, and meticulously clean! The hosts, Ed and Trish, are the sweetest and kindest people we have found on VRBO. They do not treat your vacation as a profit but place people above the business as an act of service to ensure a comfortable and memorable trip. Trish responded promptly to any questions and was 'attention to detail' with vacation information for an enjoyable family stay. The host also accommodates your situation within reason. You need to ask. Pet-friendly and roomy enough for an 8-person retreat. The host thought of everything, so you have the total comforts of home, from a fully stocked kitchen to a garage full of beach fun. You do not need to spend more $ as this is a fully operating & functional cottage. Within a short drive is the Peach Valley Cafe for breakfast, Publix for groceries, and other storefronts. It is a small complex of beach cottages some rentals and other homes but an excellent friendly environment only a few paces away from the beach. The VIEWS are incredible from the big bay windows. And the long 8-seated dining table made for plenty of meals and gatherings. The closets were stocked with board games & the home had no design, fashion, or decor shortcuts. Everything was elegant and classy. This is the place to be. I will recommend it and will return again! From start to finish, this cottage and its beautiful-hearted host make for a memorable vacation. My husband and I purchased this home when we were expecting our third child back in 2001, and our family has made MANY wonderful memories here throughout the years! Now that our children are grown and launching, we want to share what has been so special to our family with others!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Our cottage is set up beautifully for families and guests to be able to live and relax in! We have. intentionally decorated and stocked it as a cozy and welcoming home rather than as a 'rental'. Everything from quilts, games and feather pillows in the family room, to spices, condiments and paper & plastic in the kitchen, to beach umbrellas, chairs, shovels and toys in the garage are provided so you can spend your vacation time enjoying the beach and not out shopping for basics!
One of my favorite features of the cottage is the private hot water shower around back! Our family uses this shower almost exclusively when we get to visit - we simply hang clean towels outside before heading to the beach, and then everyone showers here before entering the cottage through the side garage door. It is such an easy way to keep sand and sun tan lotion outside!
Another favorite feature is the incredible view of the ocean from the dining room which can be seen from all areas of the house( except the bedrooms.). I love being able to enjoy the beauty of the beach even when I am inside making dinner or simply enjoying some air conditioning!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The cottage is located on one of the very few remaining private streets right off of A1A and right onto the beach! That's right -there are NO roads to cross! Rather, simply walk out the door and in less than 30 paces, you are walking on the beach! We are also blessed that our little street is simply beautiful! All of the 8 cottages on the street have beautiful plush green yards and landscaping ~ It simply adds to the warmth and charm of the entire atmosphere!
