With nearly ski-in/ski-out access, the condo is just one block from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Vail Ski School—putting world-class skiing, dining, shopping, and après-ski entertainment right outside your door. Inside, the studio offers a comfortable and well-appointed mountain retreat. The kitchenette features a half-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker, making it easy to prepare light meals and snacks after a day on the slopes. Sleeping accommodations include a king bed and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area, along with a full bathroom.

Located in the Lift House Lodge, guests enjoy a collection of on-site amenities designed to elevate the Vail experience. The highlight is the fourth-floor rooftop hot tub, a guest favorite and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain—soak under open skies while taking in the alpine atmosphere, whether it’s fresh snowfall in winter or crisp mountain air in summer. Additional conveniences include elevator access to all floors and coin-operated laundry facilities. The building offers limited first-come, first-served parking for a nightly fee ($50 per night during the winter season and $30 per night in non-winter months), with the Lionshead public parking garage just steps away if the lot is full.

Great option with the perfect location if you're looking for a nice no-frills accommodation in Vail. The unit was super clean and well appointed and it's only a few steps away from the Gondola in Lions Head and all the stores and restaurants. Nice view from the balcony and it's just across the hall from the hot tub which was super convenient.

My husband and I loved staying here for a few ski days. It’s located on the top floor of the building with a nice balcony and great view of the mountains. Super clean and plenty of space for a couple (and could absolutely fit two kids on sofa bed too). Nice fireplace to keep us warm or just for ambiance. Right across the hall from the hot tub but was never loud. Extremely convenient to the gondola for skiing and right in the middle of Lionshead Village with lots of shops and restaurants close by. Owners were very responsive to questions. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend.

We have been staying at the Lifthouse for over 25 years. The location is great and is within walking distance from the gondola. The new hot tub on the 4th floor is great.

Small but perfect location

This was the perfect property for my trip. It is small and I'll come back to that, but it is perfectly located, very easy to check in and check out, and very clean and well kept. It is the perfect size for one or two people, but if you try to fit four people with ski gear and winter clothes, I can see it being incredibly cramped. I would definitely stay here again.

Do not book here in the summer - to hot to sleep even with 57 degree weather. Buried at the bottom of the listing is the line: "NO air conditioning, but the high-altitude setting and balcony access provide natural cooling throughout the day." It is not accurate, and it made the unit unusable.The overnight low in Vail the night I stayed was 57F. I ran the fan on full and used the balcony exactly as the listing suggests. It did nothing — the unit held 80–90F overnight. I measured it. Too hot to sleep. A large wooden divider sits between the living space and the bed and blocks any airflow from reaching where you sleep, so the sleeping area just traps heat even on a cool mountain night.I was here for work and had to find a last-minute hotel just to sleep. I left after the first night and did not stay the other two I booked. I tried to resolve it directly. The manager was pleasant until I asked for the two unused nights back (not a full refund owed) — then her tone flipped and she said I needed to take accountability for booking a unit with no AC. The property needs to take accountability for a misleading listing: "no AC" and "natural cooling throughout the day" cannot both be true. They refunded only one night. I paid for two of three nights I couldn't use, and am owed at least two.If you expect to sleep at your booking in summer, do not rely on the "natural cooling" claim and do not book this property.

Fantastic location and the hot tub was actually hot and conveniently located to room. We didn't get the correct text about our room. It was missing the door code to our actual room. Staff helped us sort it out. They were very helpful and friendly. Our favorite staff was Duncan who greeted us with wags. We made sure to say goodbye to him when we departed. (Yes, he's a dog)

Perfect location

Steps away from the gondola lift, restaurants and shopping. Very clean condo with comfy bed and humongous tv to relax watching after all my daily activitues. The kitchen was tiny but big enough to cook breakfast. Kids were playing at the playground below but I am used to hearing that. No a/c so just left the patio door open and was provided a big oscillating fan. Was in the low 70’s. A grocery market was very close to walk to. I would book again!

Great location; check-in process was a mess; hot in the summer

Pros: This is a great location in Lionshead Village, and a very good value. Cons: The furniture is dated, and it is a bit crowded for 3 people. Also, there is no screen on the balcony door, which is the only way to get fresh air in the condo, so several bugs came in with the fresh air. It was absolutely sweltering inside in the afternoon, when the balcony gets direct sunlight. There are no ceiling fans. There was a standing fan, but there is almost nowhere to plug it in, especially if you have the sofa bed folded out. The other downside is the check-in process. I booked through VRBO, and received an email about check-in instructions being provided through the app. I just assumed it was the VRBO app. However, when I arrived at 5pm, the lobby was closed (though the on-site building staff do not actually manage this unit anyway), and there were no instructions in the VRBO app. I made a number of phone calls and messaged the host through the VRBO app to get the codes. This took about half an hour. Eventually I noticed that the email had actually instructed me to download a completely different app to receive the check-in instructions. I think that is a terrible process. If the listing was booked through VRBO, the check-in instructions and door codes should be provided through the VRBO app, or sent directly via email. It is a major inconvenience to have to download a different app and set up a login to receive the door codes. This process should be changed.

The rental is not really as advertised. Many hallways and tiny rooms. It’s not the hosts fault per se, but the apartment architect did an awful job and I would not recommend staying here.

No one had heard of my reservation. It took two hours but eventually through my persistence and helpful staff on the phones I was able to access the studio I had rented. Also when I had booked last year it advertised a hot tub which no longer exists.
