With nearly ski-in/ski-out access, the condo is just one block from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Vail Ski School—putting world-class skiing, dining, shopping, and après-ski entertainment right outside your door. Inside, the studio offers a comfortable and well-appointed mountain retreat. The kitchenette features a half-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker, making it easy to prepare light meals and snacks after a day on the slopes. Sleeping accommodations include a king bed and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area, along with a full bathroom.

Located in the Lift House Lodge, guests enjoy a collection of on-site amenities designed to elevate the Vail experience. The highlight is the fourth-floor rooftop hot tub, a guest favorite and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain—soak under open skies while taking in the alpine atmosphere, whether it’s fresh snowfall in winter or crisp mountain air in summer. Additional conveniences include elevator access to all floors and coin-operated laundry facilities. The building offers limited first-come, first-served parking for a nightly fee ($50 per night during the winter season and $30 per night in non-winter months), with the Lionshead public parking garage just steps away if the lot is full.

Whether you’re visiting for ski season, summer adventures, or a weekend escape, this centrally located studio delivers unbeatable views, convenience, and classic Vail charm.

NOTE: This is a pet-free unit, but there are other units at the Lift House Lodge that allow dogs. NO air conditioning, but the high-altitude setting and balcony access provide natural cooling throughout the day.

We have been staying at the Lifthouse for over 25 years. The location is great and is within walking distance from the gondola. The new hot tub on the 4th floor is great.

Fantastic location and the hot tub was actually hot and conveniently located to room. We didn't get the correct text about our room. It was missing the door code to our actual room. Staff helped us sort it out. They were very helpful and friendly. Our favorite staff was Duncan who greeted us with wags. We made sure to say goodbye to him when we departed. (Yes, he's a dog)

Small but perfect location

This was the perfect property for my trip. It is small and I'll come back to that, but it is perfectly located, very easy to check in and check out, and very clean and well kept. It is the perfect size for one or two people, but if you try to fit four people with ski gear and winter clothes, I can see it being incredibly cramped. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Steps away from the gondola lift, restaurants and shopping. Very clean condo with comfy bed and humongous tv to relax watching after all my daily activitues. The kitchen was tiny but big enough to cook breakfast. Kids were playing at the playground below but I am used to hearing that. No a/c so just left the patio door open and was provided a big oscillating fan. Was in the low 70’s. A grocery market was very close to walk to. I would book again!

Great location; check-in process was a mess; hot in the summer

Pros: This is a great location in Lionshead Village, and a very good value. Cons: The furniture is dated, and it is a bit crowded for 3 people. Also, there is no screen on the balcony door, which is the only way to get fresh air in the condo, so several bugs came in with the fresh air. It was absolutely sweltering inside in the afternoon, when the balcony gets direct sunlight. There are no ceiling fans. There was a standing fan, but there is almost nowhere to plug it in, especially if you have the sofa bed folded out. The other downside is the check-in process. I booked through VRBO, and received an email about check-in instructions being provided through the app. I just assumed it was the VRBO app. However, when I arrived at 5pm, the lobby was closed (though the on-site building staff do not actually manage this unit anyway), and there were no instructions in the VRBO app. I made a number of phone calls and messaged the host through the VRBO app to get the codes. This took about half an hour. Eventually I noticed that the email had actually instructed me to download a completely different app to receive the check-in instructions. I think that is a terrible process. If the listing was booked through VRBO, the check-in instructions and door codes should be provided through the VRBO app, or sent directly via email. It is a major inconvenience to have to download a different app and set up a login to receive the door codes. This process should be changed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I arrived at 7 pm on a Sunday after flying all day. I had not been given an access code and there was only a call service. No one had heard of my reservation. It took two hours but eventually through my persistence and helpful staff on the phones I was able to access the studio I had rented. Also when I had booked last year it advertised a hot tub which no longer exists.
