Luxurious Villa with Panoramic Ocean Views

Montserrat Breezes is a beautifully appointed five bedroom, five and a half bath private Villa located high in the Woodlands section of Montserrat. Lovingly and carefully constructed by one of America's wealthiest families and updated by it's present owners, Montserrat Breezes boasts over 6000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living spaces, with breathtaking views (especially at Sunset) of the Caribbean Sea from virtually all living areas. Three king suites (all with king beds) feature spacious rooms with Plantation Shutters, en-suite baths and private verandas. Two lower suites include one king bedroom and an adjoining twin bedroom. Both of these bedrooms offer open ocean views, en-suite baths, and a shared covered veranda. The door between these bedrooms can be locked for privacy or opened for families with children.

This villa was designed to maximize the ocean views from all rooms with large 'disappearing' glass and screen panels in each room. In addition, the open air dining and family rooms feature large Plantation Shutters on the rear wall, which open to view the private courtyard and manicured garden. The grounds are tiered with stone walls and are extensively landscaped with multiple varieties of palms, flowering trees and bushes. The lower grounds have bananas, lemons,guava,coconuts and grapefruit (when in season).

Children will enjoy the variety of lizards, toads, and birds found on and around the property. Bring flashlights--the toads come out at night.

Montserrat Breezes will easily accommodate an extended family, two small families or up to five couples. The lower full kitchen is perfect for poolside dining or entertaining.

This villa is cooled by nearly constant trade winds and is situated across from an entrance to the famous Mountain Trails of Montserrat. It is ideal for hikers and nature enthusiasts.

***This villa is not suitable for toddlers or youths who cannot swim or would be inclined to push on the floor to ceiling screen panels. Renters assume full responsibility for pool safety.

Very calm and comfortable!

We stayed ten nights. Although we faced a wifi problem for the first few days, property manager made all efforts to resolve it. Indeed it recovered. This house has a magnificent view and is equipped with all necessary features. We have enjoyed our stay and would like to come back!!

Family getaway at Montserrat Breezes

The property was wonderful, exceeding our high expectations even after seeing the pictures. While that would have made for a great vacation, it was the owner who resulted in our stay being spectacular. Mike was seemingly always available for a question (best grocery store or favorite coffeehouse?), extraordinarily responsive, and very gracious. Never have I felt so welcomed by a host. The entire group is eager to return next year!

A Perfect End to Our Honeymoon

This property is beautiful and throughout the entire process the owner went out of his way to ensure that we had an excellent and seamless visit. The landscaping was immaculate and the views are impossible to describe in words. The property manager, Pickett, is one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met and he went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. I am looking forward to another chance to return to this beautiful island, meet more of the island's resilient and selfless people, and explore more of what Montserrat has to offer.

The property was very nice, the pool well maintained and very refreshing, and the views from the villa and grounds were spectacular. Anita, the house keeper, was pleasant and did an amazing job with the cleaning. After booking, Mike the owner, shared helpful and useful information about the villa and about Montserrat. Beautiful Home

The house and grounds were beautiful and very private. We were close to several beaches and restaurants. Mike, the owner, was very quick to respond to any inquiries I had and was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and other helpful advise. Pickett, the property manager, was waiting for us at the airport and stopped at the market on the way to the villa to allow us to pick up some groceries. We were also able to rent a vehicle from him. We loved our stay here and are hoping to visit again next year.

What Ana amazing property! The house was fantastic and just as advertised. It had everything we needed and then some. The view of the ocean, sunsets, Redondo and Nevis were gorgeous. We made use of the swimming pool everyday. The grounds were beautiful. Mr. Pickett was very helpful and attentive. I can't say enough good things.

Absolutely stunning property in the hills of Montserrat. We couldn't ask for anything more and Pickett was extremely helpful getting us started. Great villa with awesome views

Stayed for 8 nights. The villa has spacious bedrooms and lounge area. Lots of outdoor seating areas with great views of the ocean and sunset. A good location on the island - several restaurants and bars within a short drive. Access to a decent hiking trail behind the villa. The host - Mike - was very responsive to messages and always provided lots of information. The property manager in Montserrat - Pickett - was on hand to answer any questions, though we had no issues during our stay. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home perfect for large group

This home is perfect for a family or group. The pool area, decks, outdoor eating area and large amount of patio furniture make the outside living a big part of the stay here. The bedrooms are beautiful and large. The bathrooms are grand. The sliding doors slide all the way into the walls making the rooms, including the great room, feel like the outdoors also. We walked to town and to one of the observatories. The beach is close and virtually private due to the lack of other people. Watch out for the waves-at times they are powerful. Mike was very responsive and helpful with many good suggestions. We hope to come back and stay again.

Amazing Stay at Montserrat Breezes

We had a fantastic one week stay. Mike the owner was easily accessible and responsive starting at the time of our booking. Pickett the house manager picked us up at the airport, handled our car rental, and got us settled with local driver's licenses. We were on the island over the Christmas holiday, and during several days of our stay most restaurants and shops were either closed or had limited hours. We made do, and nevertheless had a fantastic stay on this peaceful and welcoming island. Monsterrat Breezes could not have been a better home base. The views are amazing, the living spaces are comfortable, and the location of the house is great. The home feels like it is off the beaten path but at the same time is close to shops and restaurants, and in close proximity to Woodlands Beach which is a beautiful spot. The grounds of Monsterrat Breezes are gorgeous as well. We hope to be back...

Montserrat Breezes - spacious home, easily accommodated our family of 6 adults, all 5 bedrooms ensuite, great living space. Decks with views of the ocean/sunset, pool, and rainbows! Plenty of space to spread out. Quality furnishings, large pool. Indoor/outdoor living, with all rooms individually opening to the outdoors (no indoor hallways). Attentive caretaker. Lovely landscaping. Good location, easy drive to Woodlands beach. Lovely breezes run through the entire space, very comfortable temps (February). Rooms have good ceiling fans, and an additional fan in each bedroom. No a/c, but we didn't need it! Cross breezes in every room, and island temps were perfect. The overhangs/eaves on the home and decks keep living spaces dry, even when raining. Kitchen equipped with all the basics, and many appliances we didn't use (we only ate breakfast in). Nice bathroom and kitchen towels, plenty of beach towels. Owner provides starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, dish soap. Recommend this lovely, comfortable home for adults!

Perfection!

This property couldn't be better. Everything was beautiful, quality everything, spotless and comfortable. We had the best view, day and night. The days and nights were so quiet and the dark at night allowed for specular star gazing. The pool was so refreshing. Pickett, the house manager, picked us up from the airport after the late flight, brought us to the grocery store, got us settled in and had our rental car at the house for us. He returned the next day to show us around the island a little bit and even retrieved our bag from the airport that did not make it on the flight the night before. He couldn't have been more helpful, and such a great guy! Anita cleaned the entire house mid-week and everything was spotless. The house is quite large and expansive. I lost my husband several times. Everything you need is there and everything is in great shape. The grounds are beautiful with several fruit trees. We enjoyed fresh guava and starfruit every morning! The island is amazing and everyone is so friendly. It is truly paradise here.

Special place on a special island. Everyone associated with the house couldnā€™t have been more helpful. Mike, the owner, was wonderful at communicating and answering any questions we had before arrival and during our stay. Pickett, the property manager, arranged pickup from the airport, the rental car delivery to the house, and dinner from J.D.ā€™s Catering in Salem for our arrival. He checked in with us on at least a weekly basis to make sure everything was okay. Anita came twice a week to clean both the interior and exterior spaces. She was delightful and helpful if we had questions. The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need to make meals at the house. Lots of dishes, tableware, glassware, etc. Having a washer AND dryer makes it easier to pack less for the trip. WiFi worked great throughout the house. The layout of the house allows everyone a private bedroom and outdoor space to relax along with large areas for group gatherings. Plenty of bath and beach towels and bed linens. The house is cooled by the trade winds, and there are ceiling and standing fans throughout. Although there are high definition, Smart tvs in all of the bedrooms, we never turned them on. We wanted to get away from all of that. We enjoyed watching the agoutis on the property. I highly recommend the house, the owner, and the people who work at the property.

After a long 3-4 flight travel from CA and CO, Pickett met us at airport as well as secured a second car for our group of 8. They transported us to the beautiful Montserrat Breezes where we had 2 rental vehicles for our 8 days.We had cruised past Montserrat in the early 90ā€™s and it was so beautiful and the Ship Captain very complimentary. Our son remembered this and suggested we visit this island for our Christmas 2025 trip. 3 generations which included 2 grandsons, ages 10 and 8. This villa was perfect for our stay and is just lovely. It is located in a very private and relaxing locale. It was very nice with all bedrooms having their own baths and a laundry room to use. Our favorite beach was a short drive and 4 of our party secured the Montserrat driverā€™s license that was required. Weather was perfect with a couple brief rain showers and when a ā€œcut offā€ on power occurred, they were brief. We dined at Isle Bar and Grill, Scoreboard, birthday dinner at Ovelston House, festive Xmas Eve dinner at Watermelon Cottage, Xmas Day Take Away dinner by Jessica, private beach dinner at Old Road Beach, boat tour by Andy to view the destruction of the restricted part of the island due to the volcano, a welcoming Christmas Mass at St. Martinā€™s and 4 enjoyed a shore scuba tour. As a homage to the villaā€™s heritage, a big bag of Mars candy was brought to enjoy! Mike, the host was always available via a text with answers and suggestions to any of our concerns. I say, Just Book It

We recently spent 5 days at Breezes in Montserrat celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.... and wished it could have been longer! We were not interested in a typical Caribbean resort/touristy experience and this was perfect. We absolutely loved the villa (view and setting are breathtaking) and the peacefulness of the island. Now we are dreaming about how/when we can return!

My wife and I have travelled extensively in the Caribbean. Montserrat represents the 'Old Caribbean'...unspoiled by commercialism and the friendliest people on Earth. We feel as though we have moved back in time when we visit.

Great privacy, incredible ocean and Sunset views. No crime...laid back lifestyle. Montserrat Breezes is one of the largest villas on island with multiple indoor, covered and open outdoor sitting and lounging spaces, making it perfect for larger groups but is incredible for just one or two couples as well. The disappearing glass panel doors bring the outdoors into all living spaces.
