Beautiful waterfront oasis this home is perfect for your next family vacation!

This home features everything you need for a restful family vacation. The main floor features a full service kitchen with dishwasher. The living room has ample seating with a tv and DVD player. The dining room seats up to 8 people. The main floor also has a bedroom and a 3 pc washroom. There are three bedrooms upstairs . One bedroom has two twin beds, the second has a queen bed and the master has a queen bed and a walk out balcony to enjoy the sunset and a great view of the water. The 4 pc bathroom has a shower, and soaker tub. Laundry services are also conveniently located on this level with a washer and dryer.
Step out on the 60 ft dock for a morning swim or a fishing adventure. There are paved sidewalk trails perfect for a run or bike ride.

Great week away!!

We had a terrific time at this house (cottage). Beautiful, warm water in lake. Boat loved skiing with all our kids. This granny had superb time.

Famjam

Our Famjam consisted of 6 adults, an 8 year old and a 4year old and each and everyone of us had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage. Everything was exactly as described and more. From the wonderful, much appreciated welcome basket full of fun things, yummy things and great essentials to the spacious bedrooms with the comfy beds to the well equipped kitchen to the fabulous yard and most enjoyed outdoor seating. Nothing beats sitting with a coffee in the early morning down by the water in the muskoka chairs located there. We made friends with the lovely neighbours next door and used their stairs as an easy access to the water. The kids were in EVERY day regardless of the weather. Needless to say we are all looking forward to returning next year😀

Quiet, Relaxing Lakehouse

This cottage is absolutely beautiful. The view off the top floor deck is wonderful. This place had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The welcome basket was fantastic and much appreciated. The cottage had more than enough space for our family of 4. Kim was easy to get in contact with and replied to any questions I had almost immediately. This was our first time renting and Kim made the process easy. In terms of the Lake, I would highly recommend water shoes because it is rocky. I really like Lake St. Clair for its shallow calm waters. My kids could walk out quite far and the water was not over their heads. The neighbour's to the right were very friendly and I really appreciated that they let us use their entry point to the Lake to get in and out. Kim's cottage does have a ladder off the dock, but it was a bit difficult to get out of the water this way. Make sure to bring your fishing poles, my kids spent a lot of time fishing off the dock. If you're looking for a quiet place for rest and relaxation this cottage has everything you need. We would definitely not hesitate to rent here again.

Nice, quiet getaway

Very nice, clean and spacious house with all the amenities that we needed. It was a very relaxing place to stay. The only disappointment was the inability to go in the lake as there were dirty water warnings most of the week.

Relaxing and great views

Stayed two weeks with great sunsets and good views of the lake from multiple rooms. Sat out by the water and read even the hot weather wasn’t an issue with ample shade and nice breeze most days. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would book this property again.

Getaway

We enjoy our stay very much. Such a well equipped kitchen and nice bathrooms. Grandkids enjoyed the dock and water. No good restaurants nearby but ok as we have food sensitivities and mostly have to make our own meals.

Great time at The Lakehouse

We just returned from our family vacation at The Lakehouse. We had an amazing time. The home was beautiful and well kept, and it was the perfect size for our family of 8. We never felt crowded, the home was spacious. The mattresses were all super comfy! The location is gorgeous. We loved sitting by the water, watching the sunset, or just watching the boats and jet skis going by. Perhaps our favourite spot was the balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the lake. Listening to the waves, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, or a night cap - cannot beat that spot! Swimming off the dock was fun for all. The yard was also great for playing lots of games. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. Also having access to a washer and dryer was great. We also had fun playing some of the board games at the house. We took a day trip to Point Pelee which was beautiful and spent an afternoon playing in the waves of Lake Erie. Worth the drive for sure! We enjoyed exploring the area - it has a lot to offer. Belle River also has a nice public beach (delicious ice cream!). Kim was an amazing host, and very responsive right from the first inquiry. We really appreciated the care package when we arrived - so thoughtful! Thank you so much -you have a beautiful home in and amazing location and we had a wonderful family vacation!!

Great spot!

Kim was an excellent host who responded so quickly and was super helpful. The house is big and was very clean. The fireflies were amazing!

Ideal Staycation

Kim was such a lovely and responsive host ! The property was beautifully kept , clean and had everything you can think of. The sunsets were beautiful over the water and the space is filled with loads of entertainment (movies, books, games, etc.) Will definitely look to book again!

Perfect week away

Was everything we expected and beyond. We loved our stay here. Dock was perfect for fishing and swimming. Place was spotless upon arrival. We will definitely consider coming back.

A Great Vacation Stay

This Lakehouse property is a perfect place for family and friends to relax and get away for a while. It is a wonderful, quiet location with plenty of space. The grounds are well maintained with a beautiful dock and view of the lake. The home is clean and spacious with everything you need for a restful stay. Kim was easy to get in touch with and always helpful.

Excellent week by the lake

We were thoroughly impressed with the property. Everything was clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. We had two adults and 4 kids and had more than enough room. Highly recommend
