Landhuis des Bouvrie, o Loft

When you walk through the gates of the courtyard of the Loft, you will enter a completely different, dream-like world.
Silence, Nature, Space and Privacy are the keywords, when we try to describe what you will experience during a stay in our beautiful loft.

The Loft itself is an airy, open-door environment, where you are completely surrounded by views of nature and a constant breeze.
This unique, converted barn, which was build in 1753, has all the basic modern amenities you need for a relaxing, comfortable vacation. It is a place where history and nature are combined with a detailed eye for modern design.
This 150M2 building used to be one of the storage barns, which belonged to the main plantation house, that is also on this terrain.
If you appreciate design, but also the rustic of being outside in the raw nature of Curacao, with space and full privacy- this is the place for you.

Inside the loft you have a spacious open-kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, Nespresso coffeemaker, American fridge with ice maker and water dispenser) and wide living room with original art pieces and the freshness of the wind that always blows through.
There are 2 bedrooms. Each one has airconditioning and the upstairs bedroom has a flatscreen tv. Excellent wifi in the whole building.

Outside on the south-side, you have a private deck with a plunge pool; perfect to get a tan, do yoga, lounge, cool off or have some wine, while watching the stars.
On the north side is the courtyard, with a grill and table for romantic outside dinners.

Here you will find yourself in a bare-foot-luxury bubble in space and time.
It will inspire you to slow down, take in the natural sounds, breathtaking views and enjoy the magical sunrises and sunsets, with all of Curaçao’s flora and fauna at your doorstep.

The loft is located on the terrain of Landhuis des Bouvrie, where we, the owners, also live and host personally.
All outside of the hectic, touristic areas and a bit off the beaten track.
The most beautiful and natural beaches and nature parks are all on this side of the island. The nearest beach is only 10 minutes away by car and a supermarket, pharmacy, general practice, gasstation and little bakery can be found only 5 minutes by car in the nearby village Tera Corá.
