This extremely romantic and secluded stone house is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking Lake Talza, just south of Figari. Totally private, the former sheepfold has recently been transformed into a fairytale retreat for two, ideal for a honeymoon, birthday or just a quiet escape from the pressures of modern life.
A second sheepfold is being renovated, 2km from it, ideal for friends or family if you so desire!! :)

Simple and elegant, the interior reflects the history of the building without skimping on contemporary necessities, including an elegant en-suite bathroom to the comfortable double bedroom.

The house has everything you need for a week or two of private bliss, but what really elevates it into the special honeymoon category is the heated swimming pool, carved into the hillside to look like a natural stone pool. You could spend the whole day here, with just the crickets to keep you company, the bright blue lake at your feet, and the forested hills of the Deep South stretching as far as the eye can see.

And if you're in the mood for a little more activity, there are plenty of operating and mountain biking routes around the lake, one of which leads to an oriu, these unique and mysterious rock dwellings that are a particular feature of the south of the island, some of which date back to the Iron Age.
Regarding the bike ride, you have the possibility to rent mountain bikes on site by calling our company Kallistebike or Kallistecar.
You also have the possibility of renting a Peugeot 208 type car.

The village of Figari (8 minutes by car) offers a selection of shops (local products, pharmacy, tobacco, fruit and vegetables, butcher, hairdresser, beautician, post office...) and local restaurants with singing and guitar entertainment, while the bay of the same name has several beautiful beaches that offer a quieter and more natural alternative to the more well-known beaches around Porto Vecchio (Rondinara, Santa Giulia, Palombaggia..) and Bonifacio which are only 20 minutes away by car.
