Stay in this 18th-century residence, originally owned by an aristocratic family from the Nantes region, and later the home of Paul Marteroy, a Parisian architect and founder of the Rosaires seaside resort, along with his friend, the industrialist Lucien Rosengart. The property was completely renovated in 2020.
Located just a few dozen meters from the beach, the apartment allows you to fully enjoy the sea—whether by walking to the beach or relaxing on the terrace, where you can take in the ocean view.
Water sports are made easy thanks to the sailing schools in Saint-Brieuc and Plérin. The large Rosaires Beach, stretching 2 kilometers, is also perfect for walks along the seawall or on the sand. Hiking enthusiasts can take the GR 34, a former customs officers’ trail, which passes through Les Rosaires and allows you to discover the magnificent landscape of the Breton coast while walking through nature.
The 78 m² apartment is a reverse duplex with, on the first floor, two bedrooms—one with a 160 x 200 double bed and the other with a 140 x 190 double bed. Each bedroom has a large closet with hanging space and a French door opening onto the courtyard. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms and features a shower, a teak vanity with a sink, and a washing machine. The toilet is separate.
A staircase, located in the property’s turret, leads upstairs and opens first onto a landing where you can relax and learn about the history of the property and the seaside resort. You will then enter the kitchen, which opens onto the living room and the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped. In the living room, a teak and glass table seats 6 people. In the sitting area, you’ll find a sleeper sofa, a teak and glass coffee table, and a TV on a teak stand.
Through a French door, you’ll step out onto the terrace, which overlooks the end of the boulevard, the square, and the access to the sea. A table and four chairs will allow you to enjoy it to the fullest.
