Beautiful mountains around, lovely spaced out neighborhood with large lots, so much space in the home, quality linens and fixtures, and a very well equipped kitchen. Usage of the single car garage was a huge plus as well. Thanks yall!

Nice house with beautiful property and surroundings. Great location between Salida and Buena Vista. Our 3 year old son loved all the toys at the house. We will be back!

This home was very clean and easy to get around in. We did not start a fire in stove, but it snowed enough that maybe we could of with the Host's permission first.Don Gallegos

Great location, quiet neighborhood, clean cabin

The property was great to stay at. It had all the space and amenities my family needed. It was close to hiking and skiing wicked was great for us as well!

Such a lovely property stocked with everything you would need. Perfect location and very attentive property manager. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent stay! Beds were comfy!! Showers were good! The living area was great to relax after a day in the mountains! Would stay here again!!

Wonderful Stay

Ryan’s property is top notch and is very secluded from the town. We had multiple different experiences with wildlife and the view is breathtaking. I would highly recommend this house to anybody!

Wedding/Vacation Stay

We were visiting for a wedding but stayed a couple extra days. Property was amazing. The owner was great about checking in to make sure everything was good. Loved our stay!!

Great place to stay, very well kept up & has everything you will need. Also very quiet and peaceful. Instructions were easily accessible for care of home, what it offers & also possible activities to attend to near by.

Fantastic House with Great Views

This is a great house for a family vacation. Everything we needed was available in the house and the house was very clean. The views are great! We will definitely consider this house again for a future stay.

The description of this property is spot on! We only used the master bedroom, with the king bed (awesome bed & pillows), full bathroom on the second floor, as is the bedroom with the two twin beds; the first floor has the bedroom with the queen bed and a room with a full futon and another full bathroom.There was no place to hang clothes in the master bedroom but it was no problem using the twins bedroom closet.Another rarity in rentals: the master bedroom had two luggage stands and two bedside clocks!If you need to work on vacation, the room with the futon has a beautiful work desk, complete with monitor, mouse, keyboard and surge protector. You just supply your laptop.There is NO air conditioner but it's really not needed. We were gone all day while the house was warm. By the time we got back, the sun was ready to set. We opened up the shades & windows and let the nice, cool air in! The host did supply two stand alone fans that helped move the air around, along with all the ceiling fans!!Kitchen: bring your food and spices, that's it! Plenty of pans, dishes, cutlery. The host has some reusable bags you can use at the grocery store...2 in Buena Vista: LaGree's & City Market. The one house key had a City Market store tag attached for store discounts!Laundry-the host has laundry baskets in all the bedrooms, making it more convenient! Use of the washer & dryer was super easy.This place is going on our VRBO favorites list for sure!!Enjoy your stay!

Wonderful!

This was a wonderful home for our time in Colorado. It was perfect for our family. Great location- quiet neighborhood, awesome views and comfortable. The owner is helpful and has great communication with guests! Definitely recommend.

Amazing mountain cabin

Really excellent stay at an amazing cabin. Somewhat secluded but also easily accessible to Buena Vista. Great views from the house. House was very well furnished and supplied. Our younger kids especially enjoyed the kinda hidden bedroom/playroom that ties in to the master bedroom. Hosts were great with communication and support. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect vacation for a long weekend. The house was located in the most beautiful area with view of the mountains all around. It was a great mix between remote yet close to Salida & Buena Vista. The house is very nice and was perfect for our family of 5. I would highly recommend it. This is a great area with lots of fun things to do.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway/Perfect for Families

We loved our stay at "Someplace Else"! It's the perfect distance from Buena Vista and Salida for half day trips with kiddos. We brought our toddler and 4 month old baby and the house was stocked with toys, pack n play, kids plates/utensils, etc. We enjoyed the nice weather by using the grill, patio, and bonfire pit for s'mores. Would highly recommend!

Another Great Stay!

This is our family’s second time to stay at this house and it was excellent experience! Ryan is so great to work with and ensures each stay is a success. Some of our favorite things include the quiet location, the wood stove, the hill behind the house for the boys to play, the sunlight that comes in the huge windows, and the cool “kid” room! The space is great for a family with active kids and it’s always spotlessly clean upon arrival. It’s such a cozy spot to hang out after a day on the slopes—we did make it into town, but evenings spent with the fire going and a good movie on awesome. We are looking forward to coming back for a summertime visit!

Last Minute Booking

We had to make a last minute change to our travel plans and luckily found this home was available. Home is beautiful. Location easy to access, quiet, and lovely. Beds were comfy. This is the best stocked rental I've stayed in and I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint, which is not unique to this rental, is a lack of grab bars in tub shower for the safety of elderly travelers...please consider adding. Trips to BV, St. Elmo, Independence Pass, and Salida were great fun!

Family Vacation to Mountains

Property is a bit older, but is well kept and clean. Neighboring homes were much closer than expected, with homes on both sides and across street in a rural neighborhood development near mountains. Property is off the beaten path, but not as “secluded” as property may advertise. No A/C at property, so did get a bit warm a couple of days during our summer stay. Home is well stocked and in quiet neighborhood. Overall, home was great for our family vacation and fit our needs.
