Host a family movie night in the enormous open-concept living area with the large flatscreen cable TV and lots of microwave popcorn. Fire up the gas fireplace to thaw out after a day of boating and swimming then use the full kitchen to cook up today's catch with some fantastic side dishes.

Horseshoe Bend Recreation Area is only nine miles away for great family-friendly fun with volleyball nets, public fishing, horseshoe pits, pavilions, a gazebo, restrooms, and playgrounds. Visit Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel, just 21 miles away, where you can enjoy all the tables and slots, plus great food and entertainment. Head into downtown Blue Ridge, 10 miles away, to check out the many breweries like Fannin Brewing Company, Grumpy Old Men Brewing, and Copperhill Brewery.

A lovely house in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. Several families stayed there, so there was more than enough space to enjoy ourselves. The house is a bit dated. For the number of beds, it has relatively small dining tables and sitting areas. The pans in the kitchen need replacing. A loose spindle in the stair railing was dangerous, especially with our small children.

Family Reunion

This was a central location for our family to get together and had enough beds. The surroundings were beautiful. There were 19 of us. There were only 6 chairs for the dining table and 2 stools. The couch had spring poking out of the cushions and one of the bed frames was broken. Otherwise it was very nice. It was close to several activities.

Perfect for a large group

The house is amazing. We had a family of 15 and we were very comfortable. We were able to spread out across 7 bedrooms, and there was plenty of room to sleep, cook, eat and hang out. They even had amenities that other Airbnbs sometimes don't provide, like laundry soap, plenty of trashbags, dishwashing soap, shampoo, makeup remover, extra blankets and pillows. Well-stocked kitchen, nice grill. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. And they don't make you strip the beds at the end. Highly recommend!

Hello, we did enjoy our stay, but there were several issues. The trash cans were both full when we arrived so we had nowhere to put our trash. We at first gave a 5 for cleanliness, however, I answered that a little too soon. Everything we used in the kitchen was dirty. We had to wash all the pots and pans before we used them. There was actually food on many that were put away. The pans definitely need to be replaced. The chairs at the dining room table were in very bad shape. 3 of them were so bad none of us would even sit on them. The house was not set up for the 14 of us, much less the 22 it says it can host. We only found 1-2 blankets and it was very cold in the upstairs bedrooms. Luckily, a few of us had brought some from home. When I opened the bottom cabinet drawer in the island in the kitchen, it fell on my foot giving my a nice bruise across the ridge of my foot. Luckily it happened to me and not one of my guests. (I was hosting the event). The house was great size and the view out the windows were lovely, the house just needs some TLC and the kitchen needs to be gone through. I have a rental in Florida, so I get it, thats why I am being so honest with you. We are looking to return and do the same trip in 2027, however, I would not go back to this property due to the lack of "care" put into it.

Nice but needs some TLC.

Our stay was very nice. The set up of the house is great for a large group with multiple kids and families. That said, the property could use some TLC and a good deep clean.

We had a nice stay in NW Georgia. The cabin had plenty of for our group of 15. The cabin has plenty of beds. The 4 bathrooms was nice with our big group. We only had 1 issue with some fire alarms but staff showed up to remedy the issue. We would recommend this property for bigger groups.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and fit our large family perfectly. It was also in a great location. We had a minor hiccup, a dog had drug out all the trash, but someone was out in a couple hours to get it up. We can’t wait to come back next year!

A perfect cabin!

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing cabin! There were two things that were a slight inconvenience for us, one of the beds on the main floor and the small table upstairs were broken, but we were able to make due. Things like this happen and we understand. All in all we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this cabin for any large gathering!

Great Family Space!

We loved our stay! A lot of space for us to spread out in. The beds were comfy and everything was tidy when we got there. Two things that would be great additions would be an additional fridge or freezer and an additional propane tank. The one that was there didn’t work so it would have been good to have a backup. Thanks again for providing us a home conducive to a great, big family get-together.

Large group with kids

We had a great weekend - four families all with smaller kids. Plenty of places for everyone to sleep comfortably. Plenty of space for everyone. Yard is large hill but still great area for kids to play. Basement is great for kids to play. Near the horseshoe bend park right on the river - maybe five minutes away. It was an awesome outing for the entire family. Playground, pavilion, picnic tables, picnic lunch, kids played and dads fished. Then kids fished. So much fun! Great area and very close and convenient to blue ridge and McCaysville!

Overall we had a Ball

Overall my family and I had a great time. It was 17 of us and we enjoyed ourselves. We ran out of tissue, only 1 TV was working and we didn't have sharp knives for the food we were cooking, but overall we had a blast. The only other complaint my family has was that the beds were hard for the little time we did sleep.

Excellent weekend getaway

Our group really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The hot tub was a big hit. The pool table was fun, but it needs leveling. We did have to bring our own pool cue tips since only one stick was playable. The second day we had to get a repairman to come out and fix a toilet and the dishwasher, but that was handled promptly and without interruption to our trip. I was really impressed that the bathrooms were fully stocked and that there was plenty of hot water. Lastly the check out process was simple. Overall, I'd recommend this spot.
