Charmante woning voor 5 personen gelegen aan de vestingen van Ieper en dichtbij de Rijselpoort en Ramparts Cemetary. 10 minuten stappen naar de Grote Markt en In Flanders Fields Museum.
Knusse warme inrichting met inkomhall, ruime woonkamer met sofabed (bed van 140cmx200cm), zithoek en eethoek en volledig uitgeruste keuken (diepvries, koelkast, kookfornuis, microwave, koffiezetapparaat, senseomachine, waterkoker, vaatwasser, toaster).
Twee slaapkamers met kingsize bedden (kwaliteit hotelboxspring) en een badkamer met douche, dubbele lavabo en toilet.
Extra apart toilet op de benedenverdieping, terras en kleine tuin.
Op loopafstand vindt u winkels, supermarkt, restaurants, bars en het trein- en busstation.

The place was spotless and had everything we needed. It was definitely well-equipped! Jerry was and incredibly helpful host and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. Truly appreciated the experience and if we ever visit Ypres again we would stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay and Jerry was so helpful. The property has everything you need, very clean and comfortable. A perfect base to explore the surrounding area. Jerry met us on check in and gave lots of helpful recommendations on places to visit and things to do. Parking was limited outside of the property but free parking nearby. Highly recommend staying here!

A Great Get Away

Our stay more than met our expectations. The photos in the ad do not do the property justice. It is a classic and timeless place to rest and recharge after a day of adventuring in the region.

Wonderful stay in Ypres

We had a wonderful stay in Ramparts House. The property is very clean, very comfortable and decorated and furnished to a high standard. This all made for a lovely, relaxing stay in Ypres. We loved the fact that we could park close by, and could walk into the centre of Ypres for restaurants, shops and the museums. We would highly recommend and will most definitely be back to stay again.

Home away from home in the perfect location

This was an amazing place with lots of room and a large outdoor area. Jerry has thought of every need and it is immaculate. Large bedroom and modern bathroom. The kitchen has all the appliances and a large fridge and freezer. Jerry gave us a parking card which allowed us to park on the street. There are some conditions to this but also parking available just outside the walls. Short walk into centre. Quiet and really lovely. Jerry provided us with lots of information for around the area. Short walk to Pacific Eiland Restaurant which we enjoyed.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour. L'hôte nous a particulièrement bien accueillies. De bons conseils, il est aux petits soins, il se montre flexible et disponible. Beautiful house in Ypres

One of the best apartments we stayed in so far on our trip through Belgium. The unit was spacious with three levels (steep stairs) with the kitchen, living areas, and half bath on the main floor and bedrooms and bath on the top floors. The kitchen was well stocked with ample kitchenware and top quality appliances. The beds were firm but comfortable. Jerry was very friendly and answered any queries quickly. The unit also includes many brochures and info on nearby sites. Jerry also provided us with maps and suggestions for sites to visit in the area. The unit is located in old town Ypres near the rampart walking path 15 min from Menin gate. All the memorials and WWI sites are within an 10 to 15 min drive. Ypres is beautiful and we would recommend a few days here to visit Flanders.

This property has everything, absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean in a fantastic location to enjoy Ypres town itself and the surrounding area. Jerry was a great help in advising us of local attractions and the property has a plethora of brochures to help make the most of the area. We would return without doubt to this exceptional property

Lovely home in a lovely town!

Very nice! Everything you need for your stay in Ypres. Great location within the walls of the town - easy access to main roads leading out to the Salient and a short walk to all the amenities of town. Hope to return one day!

Charming comfortable house in perfect location.

Spent five nights here on a family-visiting and history trip. This is a great location (with parking) close to the Lille Gate just within the city's old walls. Everything within Ypres is walkable and there is so much history within a comfortable drive. Excellent bakery at the end of the street and Lidl supermarket within a 10-minute walk. The house itself is well-appointed, full of character and makes for a very comfortable stay - Jerry is extremely attentive to ensure your stay is a success. There is a wealth of information provided in several languages regarding Ypres and other sights of interest.

Lovely home!

The house is spacious, warm, welcoming and extremely well equipped. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Jerry was there to greet us and was most helpful in giving us all the information we needed to ensure our stay of 3 nights was perfect! Ypres is a wonderful city with so much war history and close to all of the war graves which is the reason we were there.

Beautiful home

We were most impressed by the presentation of the home,very thing you could need for a very comfortable stay. Our host Jerry was extremely helpful with local information about sights and eating places. Would thoroughly recommend Jerry as a host and his Ramparts house as a great place to stay.

Charming cozy and stuffed with welcoming vibes

Can't say enough about this place! This is a great location to stay and travel to numerous points of interest. The ramparts are out the front door for running walking or cycling You have bakery, butcher and grocery store minutes out the door. The town is amazing! Great restaurants great people and a wonderful place to reflect and remember or travel for a weekend getaway. Thank you Jerry and Eric. We wish it was closer than the thousands of km's we travelled or we'd be there every chance we could. We hope to return again!

Fantastic!

We loved our stay at Ypres (Ieper)! Jerry was a wonderful host, so helpful & the flat & location were fantastic. Very easy to the square, train station, food market & Menin Gate. Wish we could have stayed longer but definitely hope to be back!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in Ypern

Das geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Vermieter hat sich bei der Ankunft viel Zeit genommen, um uns notwendiges bezüglich des Hauses und Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für unseren Urlaub in der Stadt Ypern und Umland, zu vermitteln. Wir haben uns in dem schönen und sehr sauberen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke!

Great Facility!

The Ramparts House is spacious and the owner keeps it immaculate. There are two good sized bedrooms, and the pull out bed in the living room accommodates at least one other comfortably. There is a half bath on the ground floor and a spacious full bath on the first. The cupboards contained the essentials, including coffee and filters. Care does need to be taken to get to the main bathroom especially at night, though an outside light keeps the hallway illuminated. My only complaint is the size of the towels: they are a bit on the small size. A bakery down the street opens at 0700. The apartment is located about 15 minutes by foot from the main square. On the other hand it is within 200 m of the southern gate through the ramparts, making it very accessible for day trips.

Great property in a brilliant location.

We would highly recommend staying at Ypers Ramparts House. The property is very comfortable and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The decor is lovely and adds to a relaxing and homely feeling. The property is well located allowing you to walk to The Menin Gate , In Flanders Fields and local restaurants. It is well placed for visits to the WW1 sites. Jerry , the host was extremely helpful and welcoming.

An oustanding, well-managed vacation property

This is a very comfortable, beautifully equipped, and well-managed property. We stayed in 6 different properties on our vacation in France and Belgium, and this was by far the best. Everything is kept very clean, the kitchen and bathrooms are well-appointed, and Jerry, the owner, was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. In addition, the location, right beside the ramparts, is ideal for visiting Ypres. It is a short walk to the Menin Gate for the Last Post ceremony, and to the In Flanders Field museum, both of which were memorable parts of our trip.
