Away from it all holiday
The house looks fantastic in the pictures and it did not disappoint on arrival. My wife and I did all the tourist stuff in Cape Town last year so this was just our time to relax. We knew the house was away from nightlife etc. but the setting and the advertised pool area sold it to us. Unfortunately the jacuzzi does not work and has been out of service for quite some time something we were not advised and the pool was freezing. We think the main fault with this house is that it is just not really set up as a holiday rental, the state of the art cooker and microwave is one example as there were no instructions left in the house on how to use a very complicated and expensive looking built in microwave, the people who look after the house for the owner of the property did not know how to operate it either so not wanting to break it we did not use it for our two weeks. Just think that the owners need to take advice from other owners on how to set up a holiday home. The local beaches and sunsets are stunning and the wildlife endless, we even saw an African Wild Cat sitting on the wall by the pool one evening!!
One last thing there is no internet at this house so this made the lack of the jacuzzi even more annoying.
