Quiet, comfortable country house for 2 persons equipped with many technical tools.
It is a house surrounded by olive trees, where peace and relax are combined with art, history and culture. It is located in the heart of Tuscany, still very wild, but extremely easy for daytrips in the most famous spots: Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, sea and beaches.
The property was recently restored with materials and sustainable techniques, including solar panels, while maintaining all the flavour of the old Tuscan architecture. Not far away, on the top of a hill, is situated the old country house where the owner lives for 8/9 months a year.
It is a two floor house, portable WI-FI and air conditioning, hot and cold throughout. The decor is very accurate and functional. The good taste of the owner is recognized in every little detail, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
The ground floor includes a beautiful open space, with a large modern fireplace. The fireplace is purely decorative and should not be used for safety reasons. There is a table where you can eat or work, a large De Padova sofa, satellite TV, DVD, Bosch washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, electric oven and microwave, Nespresso, induction cooker well equipped with pots, plates, glasses and cutlery. Outside a porch partially covered by a brick roof with a large sink, and a barbecue.
On the same floor there is a room with a double bed, wardrobe and bathroom en suite.
Close to the kitchen there is a small and a washing machine.
Upstairs a spacious open room with large windows that allow a breathtaking view. A double sofa bed, a desk and 2 chairs complete the decor of the room.
A sliding door separates this room from the painting studio of the owner, Federica, an artist.
Especially out of season it is easy to see in the morning from the windows of the house some wild animal (deer, badgers, wild boar, pheasants ...) come close to home to eat the grass.
At 30 meters from the house there is a brand new infinity pool built with ancient materials and new technologies. Measure 13 m for 5 m. and is 1.40 / 2.50 deep. It is open from half May to end of September. In the pool area you will find a bar corner with fridge, a changing room, shower, sink and WC.
It is also nice to come here out of season, you can take beautiful walks, cultural trips, sports (tennis, horse riding...). Guests are welcome all year round. In winter you will be asked a contribution for the heating.
We ask you to follow a few rules:
1. Please do not smoke in the house
2. Separate the garbage in order to recycle it
3. Dogs are not allowed unless agreed with the owner
4. Please keep the house well as if it was yours
Check in usually from 16. 00 to 20. 00, also admitted later but to be agreed and with possible additional costs.
Check out by 10. 00 am.
On arrival you will be asked to show your identity card or passport for communication to the Municipality.
The country-house is for 2 persons and can be rented all year round.
In the period from mid-June to mid-September, please make reservations from Saturday to Saturday
