To all future renters - this house has had a FULL deep cleaning as of May 2019 as well as being freshly painted inside! We have also hired a NEW cleaning company who does a GREAT job! The owner of the house had it professionally deep cleaned and powerwashed, as well as spent a month of her own time at the property sprucing it up for summer rentals with new pillows, new A/C unit on the porch, newer porch furniture, etc. It is a CUTE house with an excellent location! You can't beat this location and house for the money! Call to book today and we will offer discounts for summer 2019!

Tara, I sincerely apologize that you encountered some cleaning issues upon your arrival. We would have sent the cleaners back out to address any issues immediately! The trash gets taken out twice a week (Tuesday and Friday during summer) and recycle is only picked up every other week on Wednesdays. I apologize that there was trash buildup but unfortunately it just happens sometimes in the busy summer months, but the trash service does take it out...hoping that the previous renters don't wait until after Friday morning to take out all their trash but unfortunately it sometimes happens. Ants are very common in the yard. We can spray for them often but they always come back due to the sandy yard, but we're always happy to spray and it will keep them at bay for a few days or so. It is just bad during summer. I don't believe we advertise this as an ocean view property but I will double check. You are right, there are no ocean views, but I don't recall us advertising that anywhere. The construction will be completed soon (it's about one block away from this house!). It's all mostly inside work now. Sorry that this was a nuisance to you, but it's out of our control obviously. I regret that you did not seem to fully enjoy your vacation. Please give me a call if you'd like to return and I'll happily offer you a discounted rate next year.

Jill, Thank you for your review and we're glad you enjoyed your stay for the most part. I have forwarded your review on to our owner, and discussed with her about replacing some or all of the porch furniture. We agree it is very dated and needs replacing. The baseboards need to be painted - we looked at this and it wasn't dirt but rather scuff marks and such that make it look dirty. I will discuss hopefully getting some fresh paint in this off season to help with the appearance. The porch/sunroom is cleaned (vacuumed) after every renter so I apologize that it appeared dirty to you. We had just replaced all the furniture out there and think it looks so much better (pictures haven't been updated yet to show the new furniture). We try to price the home very reasonably compared to the other older style beach homes that we manage. For the location and size of the homes we think the price is fair and lower than most other comparable homes.
