Patrizia and Luca are gracious hosts and their HolidayHome is a beautiful escape in the mountains overlooking majestic Lake Maggiore. The sunrises/sets are breathtaking. It is an ideal setting for a couple.

A lovely place with stunning view!

Patrizia was such a great host and the apartment is exactly the way it is presented but even better. There is everything you need for a relaxing vacation. 10/10 recommend to go there if you are looking for a quiet place to spend your holidays.

Amazing appartment

I would like to thank Patrizia for her kindness and hospitality. The appartment was very clean, cosy and very well equiped. The view ist just fantastic !We had a lot of tips for restaurants and places to visit.I find it very rare to stay in holiday ressorts of such good quality !

The highlight of the holiday flat is the magnificent view of Lago Maggiore, which you can enjoy from the terrace. The flat was very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped. We received a very warm welcome from Patrizia and Luca. Patrizia explained everything about the flat and gave us lots of tips for excursions and restaurants. We didn't miss anything and had a wonderful stay.Thank you very much!

Fabulous view. Kitchen had everything you could possibly want…even a panini press. Patrizia left several welcome gifts. She was a great hostess. Only con…the walk from parking to the house was short but gravelly and uneven. Could be difficult if you have any mobility problems. Otherwise….good rental!

Stay at Patrizia’s

Well!! What an unbelievable property to stay in. Couldn’t fault anything. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to make a meal. Plenty of towels/tea towels. Lovely fresh bed linen. Spotless bathroom. Convenient laundry to catch up on washing. Only downside to our stay was the rain! It kept us indoors for two days but we were definitely in the right place, it was beautiful. Would stay there again in better weather.

Una meravigliosa esperienza !

During our stay, the apartment was clean, tidy and very bright. The owners (Pat and Luca) are lovely and welcoming. After our arrival from France, Pat received us with little touches (cakes, water, wine). A great pleasure : having lunches on the terrace in front of the lake. It's a really quiet place. It's a rent for activities in the nature (walking for exemple). No doubt, we'll come again ! Sì, ci ritorneremo !

Wonderful view, wonderful host, wonderful stay

You will never forget that view, if you stayed in Patricias lovely house. We had a great time and enjoyed the view and the surroundings a lot. Patricia welcomed us in the perfect way - with some cheese and some ready-to-get-cooked pasta, which was the perfect start of our one week vacation. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect, too. If you want to cook, no problem, the kitchen is very well equipped. If you go there don't forget to visit Luigi Guffanti and try the tasting cheese plate. Also I can recommend a visit to Mottarone a lot! Book that house, you will not regret it.

almost heaven... :)

We spend four days in this incredible apartment. Patrizia and Luca made it a very special place and gave us a warm welcome including the finest food and wine. The communication was super friendly and at ease. They provided us with very helpful touristic information and thought of everyday needs as well as all sorts of possibilities (arts, nature, exhibitions etc.). The flat has a fantastic view on the lake and is equipped with everything you could wish for (kitchen equipment, great bathroom, comfortable bed, great balcony, chairs, windshields...). It´s a perfect holiday place!!!

Home from home in an idyllic location

Our stay at I Faggi was a truly wonderful experience & Patricia's enthusiastic welcome made us feel like long lost friends. She greeted us with many thoughtful gifts which was so generous of her, unexpected and unique. The accommodation was very tasteful and comfortable and we had everything we could have needed and much more besides. The local supermarket in nearby Gignese might have been small but it is superbly stocked - brilliant! We especially appreciated the breathtaking views and the tranquility at I Faggi and were extremely reluctant to leave. We will return!

Great holiday!

We had a nice time at this charming flat. I highly recommend to get there by car. It is a littel bit remote. In the flat you can find everything you need. Kitchen is well equiped, many TV channels and even a german coffee machine. If you go there, go around explore the forest. You will find some old walls of fomer Cottages. Patrizia got us a warm welcome so we feeled like home immediately. Thank you very much!

Tutto spettacolare!

This is a wonderful property and Patrizia and Luca are exceptional hosts. We’ve rented many places in many locations and this is truly among the best. I Faggi Country House is a beautiful, high-quality flat with amazing views high over Lago Maggiore. Everything is spotless and in great working order. The flat is thoughtfully outfitted with everything one could need. So many places require a renter to shop for basics. This flat had everything from nice olive oil and vinegar to coffee and filters (in addition to Keurig cups) to teas, bottled water and more. Patrizia also had some lovely welcome gifts for us upon arrival. When we noted how thoughtful everything was outfitted, she said that, by design, they wanted it to have everything their own home would offer. The house itself is extremely well designed. It’s a gorgeous home and property in a peaceful, natural setting. We enjoyed watching deer in the morning and hearing all of the birdsong including a cuckoo calling every dusk. The view over Lago Maggiore is ever-changing and we left the drapes open at night to fall asleep to lights twinkling across the lakeside villages far below. The drive up from town is winding and sometimes narrow and the driveway is a bit steep, but there’s nothing to worry about after you’ve done it once or twice. We absolutely loved coming back to this lovely, quiet treasure of a place after bustling days around Stresa and this enchanting region. Tutto spettacolare!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin Patrizia ist sehr freundlich und hat viele gute Tips und Infos für alles. Kommunikation und Check in liefen problemlos. In der Nähe der Unterkunft steht ein privater Parkplatz zur Verfügung, auf dem man das Auto sehr gut abstellen kann. Der Blick von der Wohnung und der Terrasse auf den Lago Maggiore ist zu jeder Tageszeit und bei jedem Wetter spektakulär. Auf der überdachten Terrasse lässt es sich auch bei hohen Temperaturen gut aushalten, da dort immer ein kühles Lüftchen weht.

Das I Faggi ist eine tolle Ferienwohnung mit spektakulärem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore und die Borromäischen Inseln. Die Wohnung liegt in der ersten Etage und hat eine sehr schöne große Terasse/Balkon, welche auch vom Schlafzimmer und vom Wohnzimmer aus betreten werden können. Sowohl von der Terrasse, als auch von beiden Zimmern hat man eine ausgezeichnete Sicht über den See mit seinen Inseln rüber bis zu den Bergen der Alpen. Das Haus steht 400 m über dem See auf einem riesigen Grundstück, quasi in Allein-Lage, die absolute Ruhe und somit gesunden Schlaf und Erholung garantiert. Die Ausstattungen in Küche und Bad beinhalten Alles, was benötigt wird. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern läuft von der Planung der Anreise bis zum Checkout reibungslos (Englisch oder Italienisch ggf. Mit Übersetzungs-App) und auch über WhatsApp. Patrizia hat so viele Tips für die Urlaubsgestaltung in der Region, dass man in der vorhandenen Zeit nicht alles abarbeiten kann. Die Lage der Fewo ermöglicht viele Ziele und Sehenswürdigkeiten mit Fahrzeiten unter 45 Minuten. Herzlichen Dank an Patrizia, die uns gleich für den Anreisetag Plätze im Ristorante Vista in Campino reserviert hatte. Das Vista haben wir wegen der spektakulären Aussicht und der tollen Gerichte zwei Mal besucht. Im ebenfalls empfohlenen La Rampolina sollte man 2 Wochen bereits vor der Anreise reservieren. Wir empfehlen weiter das Mamma Mia in Stresa und das Ristorante Italiano auf der Isola dei Pescatori mit eigenem Boot-Shuttle.

Mooi appartement met prachtig groot balkon met geweldig uitzicht op groen en het meer. Stil en midden in de natuur met bezoekjes van hertjes in de tuin. Parkeerplek bij het huis, paar meter lopen op een stijl pad, dat doorloopt in een bos. Het is wel iets frisser op de berg, dus neem iets warms mee als je buiten wil zitten 's avonds!

Ruhige Oase mit herrlichem Blick

Von der ersten Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat alles super geklappt. Die Unterkunft ist blitzeblank sauber, super ausgestattet und hat einen wahnsinnig schönen Blick über den See. Alles ist mit ganz viel Liebe und Herzblut organisiert und die Wohnung sehr großzüerichtet

Wir haben die Zeit in der sehr schönen Wohnung, mit einem unglaublichen Ausblick sehr genossen. Vielen herzlichen Danke für das Willkommenspaket und die sehr nützlichen Informationen. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und das in bester Qualität. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
