- Some free street parking is available nearby, but signs are in French and can be tricky.
- On-site parking (subject to availability) (C$15/night) is primarily reserved for guests with mobility issues or small infants, but all requests are considered.
- Fits small sedans only
- Mandatory: use both the provided steering wheel lock bar and wheel boot
- Closest indoor parking garage: 400 rue de Malines
- Taxis and Uber are easy to find in Montreal.
- With increased car theft in Montreal, all drivers—especially those with SUVs (Toyota Highlander, Honda CR‑V, Lexus, Jeep, pickup trucks, Toyota RAV4 Hybrid)—are strongly encouraged to use indoor parking and/or a steering wheel lock.
- We provide a lock bar you may borrow.

***Accessibility Notes
- A standard wheelchair fits through the front door, but the apartment is not fully wheelchair accessible:
- Wheelchairs do not fit through bathroom doors
- Showers are not accessible
- If the person using a wheelchair can walk a little, this apartment can be a good option.

Entry details from street level to inside:

1 x ~2" step from the street
1 x ~4" step from the street
1 x ~2" step at the front door
Once inside, 1 normal-height step; after that, the apartment is on one level.


***Access & Booking
- You have access to the entire apartment except for a locked utility room at the back.
- After VRBO confirms your booking, you’ll receive an SMS asking you to confirm your means of travel.
- Minimum age to book: 25.
- Guests under 21 not accompanied by a parent must provide written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- No 3rd-party bookings: the person who books must be part of the stay (they don’t have to be the first to arrive).


***Cleaning, Check-in & Check-out
- We do NOT charge a cleaning fee although the apartment is cleaned by professionals.
- In return, we ask guests to complete a few simple checkout tasks:
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Bag and seal all garbage and bring it to the back alley
- Put white towels only in the washing machine and start a cycle (detergent provided)
*Our cleaners handle the beds and everything else.
- We reserve the right to charge C$100–C$300 + tax for failure to complete the required checkout tasks or for late departures.
- Optional mid-stay cleaning (fresh linens, towels, light tidy): C$100, subject to availability.

***Early check-in / late check-out (subject to staff availability):
- Fee: C$50 each
- If requested less than 10 days before arrival: C$100 each
- New times: check-in at 2:00 p.m., check-out at 1:00 p.m.

*** Luggage drop-off (subject to availability):
- Up to 2 hours before check-in or 2 hours after checkout: C$30.

***Pre-stocking: C$30 service fee + food cost.
- If you’re interested, please let us know at least 1 week before arrival. We’ll send you a short form so we can purchase exactly what you need.

***TV
- Only Samsung TV channels are available; you may log in with your own streaming accounts.

***Travel insurance:
- Is strongly recommended to protect your belongings and any trip cancellations or interruptions.

***We are fully permitted for short-term rentals, certified by the Quebec Tourism Board, and registered in Quebec. Receipts, tax numbers, and separate corporate invoices are available on request.

***Baby gear:
- Pack-and-play available
- Standard crib available with at least 2 weeks’ notice (C$50 for assembly and preparation)

***House Rules

*Smoking Policy: The inside of the apartment is 100% NON-SMOKING.
- Cigarettes and cigars: outside only; please dispose of butts properly.
- No marijuana anywhere on the property, including the front terrace.

*Noise & Parties:
- Quiet hours: 10:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m.
- Music is allowed between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. as long as neighbours are not disturbed.
- No loud parties. Noise complaints may result in VRBO being notified and guests being asked to leave.

*Pets:
- No pets allowed.
- Neighbouring pets are not allowed inside the apartment.

*Movie rentals:
- Not permitted without prior approval; may be allowed if prepaid.

*We can ship items left behind after checkout.
- Fee: C$50 + shipping material and fees.

*Security
- Outdoor Ring camera facing the front only (no interior view, no live feed).
- Used solely for break-in prevention.
