House of 160 m2 on one level overlooking the valley of the Dordogne, comprising large living room dining room, kitchen very well equipped, three spacious bedrooms with bathrooms, two toilets
Rental for 6 people maximum. Children and small dogs accepted with agreement of the owner. Baby accepted.

This is quite simply an excellent vrbo in a beautiful location. Three double rooms, two of which have patio doors that open to the pool deck. The pool and surrounding grounds are superb - entirely private with an incredible view across the valley. We didn’t try walking into Sarlat but it was an easy 2 min drive with many parking options, paid and free. Sarlat itself is like a film set as are all the surrounding towns. We will definitely return. As others have said, we stay in a lot of holiday rentals and this is the best so far. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous place to stay!

A beautiful house and location with stunning views across the Dordogne valley. The house was well equipped and the outside area - especially the pool - was amazing. Dani the housekeeper was lovely despite the language barrier. All in all it was a lovely holiday in a lovely house. Would stay there again.

Lovely house, great location

This was a lovely property on a hill overlooking Sarlat-la-Canéda. The weather was not that kind to us but there was plenty to do locally. The house was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Sylvie the owner was always very quick to respond to questions and we were very sad to leave.We walked into town a few times and the market was wonderful. Plenty of local produce to buy and we particularly enjoyed the Walnut Farm visit. On Saturday night there was loads of local street food and music on the main square.in the evening. Great scenery and enjoyed watching, from the house, the hot air balloons rising up over the Dordogne valley in the early mornings.

Excellent holiday property

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few. Super clean, very well equipped, fresh with absolutely stunning views. Extremely private and secure with great secure parking. There is very little we could think of that wasn’t taken care of. Our only challenge was that there was a 38 degree heatwave for the first half of the holiday which made sleeping in the non air conditioned bedrooms a challenge but otherwise this was a brilliant property. We congratulate Sylvie on providing a super high standard well located rental within 20 mins walk of Sarlat. Note that the road to Sarlat is very steep so not ideal for all but we found it fine.

A Wonderful Villa in a Fabulous Setting

This villa has everything you need for the perfect holiday. A huge electric sunshade for additional protection on really Sunny days. Large comfortable rattan chairs and cushions for enjoying the evening sunsets and amazing view. A pool that has the temperature just right not too hot and not too cold. Inside the kitchen and utility room has everything you could possibly need including a super fast washing machine that was so good it barely creased the clothes. A large lounge which we barely used as the outside living space is so nice. All the bedrooms are roomy and have en suite showers and two of them have a view you will enjoy waking up to. Both Sylvie the owner and Dany who looks after the property could not make you feel more welcome. I hope we will have the opportunity to stay here again. Thank You.

Fabulous villa, pool and gardens overlooking Sarlat

We spent almost 3 weeks in Sylvie and Jean’s stunning villa and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, luxury and incredible views.Set on a hillside overlooking the medieval town of Sarlat, the photos don’t do justice to how gorgeous this property is. With en suite bathrooms to every spacious bedroom (2 of which lead directly onto the pool and terrace), the quality and style is welcoming, luxurious and yet so easy to relax in.The gardens are huge, sloping away from the villa with lots of trees and plants, many of which were in bloom when we visited. The pool is a good size, and safe for families with children as it’s not too deep - we spent much of our day here when we weren’t out exploring various chateau, caves or splashing in the Dordogne river. And it’s heated - it got up to 31c at one point (we did have a heatwave!)!With its fabulous open plan living, we could happily have lived here for a lot longer, and yet we were only 5 mins drive from the huge Leclerc supermarket at the bottone of the hill, or from local boulangeries and restaurants.Outside there is a huge electric shade sail that cools the veranda and plenty of space for eating al fresco. Sylvie, Jean and their property managers (Laure & Christophe) were so easy to deal with for any queries, and were super helpful when we had a massive thunderstorm one evening which caused some considerable disruption for a couple of days during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this property!

Superbes vacances en famille

Nous avons passé un excelent séjour dans cette magnifique maison. Nous avons apprécié la propreté, les équipements, et la décoration intérieure et extérieure. Nous étions au calme, et à proximité de tout ce qu'il y a à voir dans la région. La piscine très agréable pour se rafraîchir, et profiter des journées ensoleillées. Tout était parfait !!!

Magnifique maison sur les hauteurs de Sarlat

Maison propre, bien achalandée avec un grand terrain bien entretenu. Vue magnifique sur la vallée de la Dordogne. Elle se situe à proximité de nombreux centres d'intérêts. Les propriétaires Sylvie et Jean sont très avenants et disponibles en cas de besoin. Je recommande.

Geweldige vakantie gehad nabij sarlat

Wij zijn met ons jonge gezin (met een kindje van 1.5 jaar oud) in het huis verbleven. De vakantie was echt top! Het uitzicht, de rust en ruimte geven echt een ultiem vakantie gevoel. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen en de communicatie was prima. Wij raden dit huis zeker aan

Emplacement idéal

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison à Sarlat. Tout d’abord la maison est très bien située, proche de bcp de centre d’interêt et de la ville mais tout en étant à l’écart et donc très au calme. La vue juste magnifique, et le matin et le soir vous pourrez apercevoir les montgolfières quel plaisir. Pas de vis à vis aussi c’est très appréciable. La maison est très propre et fonctionnelle, il ne manque rien. Nous sommes venu avec un bébé et les propriétaires nous avaient prévu tout le matériel nécessaire. A votre arrivée vous serez reçu par une dame très gentille et agréable. Les propriétaires sont également disponibles et réactifs. Bref tout ça pour dire que nous gardons un super souvenir de nos vacances dans cette superbe région. Merci pour tout.

Très jolie maison pour un très agréable séjour.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison où rien ne manque. Pour les personnes qui aiment cuisiner comme nous, il y a profusion de vaisselles, de poêles, de casseroles.... La piscine est très agréable. La vue est magnifique, tout pour se relaxer que demander de mieux.

Wunderschönes und gepflegtes Objekt in Traumlage

Wir (Vater, Mutter, Großmutter und zwei Kinder) haben zwei wunderbare Wochen im Herzen der Dordogne verbracht. Die Lage des Objektes ist fantastisch! Die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region sind sehr gut zu erreichen und der Supermarkt Leclerc ist nur 5 Autominuten entfernt. Das Haus selbst ist wunderbar ausgestattet und lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der Kontakt mit mit der Eigentümerin Sylvie war sehr zuvorkommend und Dany, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hat für jedes Anliegen prompt eine Lösung. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wedding Anniversary Family Holiday to the Dordogne

After much deliberation we chose this property due to the location, the views, the swimming pool and the photographic impression of the interior. I have to say that the photos do not do justice to the beauty, cleanliness, facilities or location which are all amazing. If you are deliberating over whether or not to rent this property then do not hesitate....RENT IT....YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Sylvie who owns the property was a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole booking process and answered every question or query we had. Sylvie is ably supported on the ground by Dany who was also fantastic to deal with and was a very knowledgeable about everything to do with the property. We visited in the third week of June and had mixed weather during our stay (40degs centigrade on the first two days and 14degs centigrade on the last day) but the beautiful Dordogne has so much to offer that we did everything we planned to do prior to our arrival. We all had a great holiday to celebrate our 31st Wedding Anniversary and would book this property again in a heartbeat and without hesitation.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans une maison tout confort avec piscine chauffé et avec une vue imprenable sur Sarlat et ses environs. Une expérience à partager et à renouveler sans hésitation. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute, réactifs et vraiment soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Bref parfait!!!!

Vacances de rêve à Sarlat

Excellent séjour. Tout y a contribué : l'accueil, le lieu, le niveau d'équipement, les aménagements extérieurs de la résidence.

Beautiful

The villa is situated in the Black Perigord region very close to the beautiful town of Sarlat. The town and region are stunning. The villa is situated on a hill overlooking a valley, the view is spectacular. The villa itself is immaculate along with the huge garden and pool area. It had everything we could possibly need and was extremely comfortable. It truly was a Home Away.
