The Granary is located just 6 miles from Church Stretton and was originally a barn used as part of a working farm. It has been tastefully converted to offer accommodation for up to 5 people. Much of the barn's original charm has been retained through features such as exposed beams and a wood-burning stove. Shared use of washing machine and tumble dryer. The hallway sports an oak staircase and leads to the dining area up a set of original stone steps. For romantic couples, there is a four-poster bed and, for larger groups, there is shared use of a games room with its own snooker table. Outside the Granary is a small garden which lends itself to al fresco dining in the summer months. Please note that the property is for holiday lets only and does not accept worker bookings. This is a popular walking area - ideal for exploring the Shropshire Hills. Church Stretton is the first town in Shropshire to receive Walkers Welcome status. The town also holds its own annual Walking Festival in June. In the Carding Mill Valley, there is a thriving antiques centre with over 60 stalls.
