A charming stone, end terraced cottage, situated on a hillside in the lovely village of Youlgreave, this lovely property is full of character. The cosy and inviting sitting room, with its dining area, is a comfortable place to relax in after the rigors of a busy day's sightseeing. There are two delightful bedrooms, one double and one adult bunk bedroom with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. They are both beautifully decorated and offer a tranquil haven in which to enjoy a good night's sleep. The bathroom is elegant, modern and well appointed, outside there is a front patio with furniture and a barbecue and a footpath leads from the cottage to the Bradford Dale Valley bottom. This property is a lovely base from which to explore this wonderful area. Please note the property can only accept bookings starting on Friday's or Monday's. Note: The cottage is accessed by a steep narrow footpath approx 4 mins walk from the available parking.

It was once the centre of the lead mining industry but is now a charming tourist destination. The village has three public houses, all of which serve food, two shops, a post office and a beautiful medieval church with some parts dating back to the 13th and14th Centuries. The market town of Bakewell is nearby and has a wide selection of shops and eateries along with its Monday market. With so many stately homes, beautiful scenery and outdoor pursuitsthe Peak District has so much to offer as a holiday destination and Youlgreave makes a perfect base to explore this lovely area.
