There are some views over the valley and moors from the cottage, which has a master bedroom with king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, there is a fitted kitchen, and a sitting room with large sash windows and a cosy woodburner-effect stove. Outside, the cottage benefits from off road parking and a garden with furniture.

Afternoon strolls can be enjoyed beside the Langsett, Broomhead and Moorhall dams, and Holmfirth, featured in Last of the Summer Wine, is close by. The longer walks and good mountain biking of the National Park are a short drive away, and visitors may even take advantage of the proximity of the M1 to venture as far afield as Sheffield, Leeds or York.
