There is a family bathroom with a luxurious slipper bath, and three kitchens, one of which is on the first floor, and the other with a large, social dining area. There are also three sitting rooms, again one of which is on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Outside, there is a front courtyard with furniture, a rear lawned garden overlooking the mill pond with a patio and furniture, and off road parking for eight cars.

The village has three public houses and a variety of shops, however for more amenities the towns of Matlock and Matlock Bath are close by.
