Idéalement située à St Rémy de Provence, dans le centre du village, cette charmante villa d'environ 180m² est proche de toutes commodités tout en étant au calme (A 1minute à pied de la place du fameux marché de Saint Rémy de Provence).

L'entrée se fait par un jardin d'hiver et continue dans une grande pièce de vie très lumineuse, exposée sud avec cheminée, ouvrant sur un joli jardin très accueillant agrémenté d'une nouvelle piscine ( 3,5 m x 10 m) avec plage immergée pour les plus jeunes. 2 terrasses couvertes abritent un coin repas et un salon.

Un joli jardin de 750m² bordé d'un mur en pierre qui jouxte un passage piétonnier vers le cœur du village.
Au même niveau, se trouve une chambre et salle d'eau, WC .
Dallage de pierre au sol, climatisation réversible dans toute la maison
A l'étage, une suite parentale avec sa terrasse offrant une vue sur le village et une troisième chambre mansardée idéale pour les plus jeunes.
Attenante à la terrasse, dans une joli et nouvelle dépendance, une suite parentale avec lit double 160 cm , salle de douche , WC et dressing .

Une buanderie et une cave en sous sol.

A l'arrière du joli portail en fer forgé, vous trouverez 2 places de stationnements.

We (two couples) had a fantastic time and stay at Villa Joalyse in early October. The house and property are truly magnificent, clean and well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. We were so comfortable here during our week and enjoyed it so much. We appreciated the amenities and special touches provided by the hosts, including basket of goodies, olive oil, coffee and tea, nice toiletries and soaps, high quality towels and linens, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. The hosts were very responsive to all questions during our stay and very attentive. The location of the house is truly fantastic, as the center of St. Remy with shops and restaurants is only a 4 minute walk away. Yet it still feels secluded, private and spacious, with the beautiful pool and garden area and lots of outdoor seating. The location allowed for each person to come and go as they wished into town (for example, to pick up fresh bread in the morning!) and allowed us to walk to restaurants in the evening. The private parking area was also great. St. Remy is a beautiful town with a wonderful market on Wednesdays which we really enjoyed. The surrounding area and towns are beautiful with so many things to do and see within a short distance. It is a great "home base" to experience Provence. We highly recommend Villa Joalyse and would love to come back! Thank you to our hosts Beatrice and Gil for a beautiful house and an amazing vacation!

We would like to thank Béatrice and Gil for making our stay at El St.-Rémy-de-Provence so enjoyable. “Joalyse”was beautifully and warmly presented, well appointed with everything we might need and more. The home is also conviently positioned to the wonderful town centre and with off street parking making our tripping around so convient and easy. We highly recommend being hosted by Beatrice and Gil who thoughtfully preempted of our every need.

Very nice property in excellent shape. All needed amenities and a pool! Location is exceptional--we felt as if we were staying in the country and it was only two blocks to walk into the town for morning baguettes and coffee, dinner or anything else. And wonderful produce and other goodies left for us by the property manager/owner! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and St. Remy is an excellent place to stay as a central place from which to see Provence.

Amazing stay at Villa Joalyse

This is a beautiful property located close to town. The interior and exterior of the house were both very nice and made for a comfortable stay. Having the pool was great when the temperature went into the 90s. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Gil and Beatrice are the best hosts! The house is fully equipped, clean, very convenient within town location, and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful hosts - we will be back!

Gorgeous villa

We had a lovely stay. The villa is gorgeous, clean and the host was wonderful. The location of the villa is perfect for exploring St. Remy on foot. If we were to visit St. Remy again, we would not hesitate to book this villa again. Thank you Cyrielle for your hospitality, we had a wonderful time at you villa.

5 nights in fabulous St. Remy

We were two couples staying in the house for 5 nights. The property was lovely, just as described and we had plenty of room for just the 4 of us. The kitchen was well equipped and we even took a dip in the pool on one of the warmer days. We had a car so it was nice to park off the street and the charming town was easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. St. Remy was the perfect location to have as a home base to explore the beautiful countryside, other wonderful towns, antiquities and vineyards all around. Thank-you to our host who was very responsive to any question or request. Highly recommend!

Beware the Bedroom Descriptions!

We were a group of 5 friends in our 60’s & 70’s who rented this house based on the description of the beds/bedrooms. We realized that 2 sisters might need to share one of the King beds if the futon was not very comfortable. Unfortunately the “futon bedroom” was in the living room (not a possibility) and the 2 twin beds were child sized…located in what felt like a closet with a low ceiling. Luckily, we had 2 sets of sisters who ended up sharing King beds, which would have been even more uncomfortable had we not been related. The house is gorgeous, Gil was very responsive, and the location was ideal. This is a lovely property, but the bed/bedroom description is incorrect. It’s a 3 bedroom home with an alcove for 2 children.

The most magical home from home!

We could honestly have stayed forever! The house is even more beautiful than the website photos. The interior and furnishings, stunning. The pool and garden, sublime. The cabana, just dreamy. And the location, amazing, just a stone’s throw from the centre of St Remy. We knew from the listing that it was going to be a special place. But in reality it was beyond special - thanks to the thoughtfulness of the hosts, it was simply perfection. We were travelling with our baby and 3 year old daughter and Béatrice went to incredible lengths, providing all we could possibly need (and more!) to make our stay as stress-free as possible with the little ones. Of course the standard things were provided, as you would expect (cot, high chair, kids cutlery etc) but it was all the little extras that really made the difference. Boxes of toys, dressing up outfits and swimming aids for the little one. A next-to-me crib (in addition to a standard cot and outdoor playpen) and even a bouncer chair for the baby. Baby comforter, sleeping bag, the list goes on. We literally couldn’t have asked for more. Communication with the hosts was a delight. Sometimes you meet people and think to yourself that they are just the kindest people on the planet. That was the case with Béatrice and Gil. You will not regret a stay here. Just go ahead and book it - as long as it’s not for when we want to come back!

Second Sojourn

We love Villa Joalyse so much we came back for another stay. The local is uniquely special, just steps from the town center (restaurants, shops!). The living area is comfortable, the bedrooms are spacious, and the kitchen well-stocked. The pools adds a definite perk during warm weather. A stay at Villa Joalyse makes a visit to Saint-Remy-de-Provence all the more special.

Tres magnifique!

We spent 4 nights at Villa Joalyse. It was one of the nicest home rentals we have ever stayed at and we seriously considered extending our stay because we would have liked to spend an evening or two cooking at home and relaxing but instead we are planning a return trip. Beatrice was so gracious. She wasn’t able to meet us for checkin (which wasn’t expected) due to a family commitment but sent instructions along with photos which we used to enter the property. We were a little confused on accessing the front gate but a quick call to Beatrice clarified our question. It was super convenient to park in the courtyard and we had a much larger SUV than needed (that’s a not great story about getting up sold at the Hertz car rental in Barcelona…to be shared on a Hertz review) but no issues coming and going. The villa is beautiful and so tastefully decorated. Beatrice had a lovely welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived which was so thoughtful after a long day drive from Spain. After our first day, we felt like we were staying at a dear friend’s house who enjoyed entertaining as every type of glass, dish, platter, serving utensil was readily available for us as enjoyed our happy hour each evening. Unfortunately we never made a meal at the house but there were a great selection of spices, pots and pans plus a barbecue grill which would have contributed to a lovely evening. Our beds were super comfortable, quiet and lovely linens made this spot a great transition away from jet lag. Beatrice has really invested in top notch, high quality amenities. Wifi worked great and we are avid on streaming and downloads. And when we aren’t online….and if we return with family….the villa has a huge library of games and things to enjoy while there. As I shared…we needed more time to just enjoy the villa. We looked at options outside of Saint Remy but chose to be within walking distance of town, this served us well as have early and late risers which means early risers can walk five minutes to enjoy croissants at a cafe or pick up fruit at the local grocer. I celebrated my birthday while there and Beatrice texted a lovely birthday wish and an invite to expend our checkout time….plus dropped off macaroons as a gift. Totally unexpected- above and beyond thoughtfulness. Other nice to know things….we used the washing machine in the basement. Laundry soap was provided and we dried our clothes on the rack. Umbrellas to borrow for a rainy day.

Perfect in every way!

We had the most wonderful stay at Beatrice and Gil's beautiful villa. It is even more lovely than in the photos - and the photos are gorgeous. They have thought of every luxury, large and small. The home is appointed beautifully, in every detail. The kitchen is well equipped and everything worked perfectly. Their welcome baskets were so gracious. Plus, it is just a very short walk to the center of town so I cannot imagine more convenience. We would absolutely look forward to staying here again and again!

Perfect accomodation

Owners were very friendly, helpful and on hand if needed. Villa is amazing - larger than in the photos. Large well equipped kitchen and the whole villa had everything you need. Finished to a high standard, light and spacious. Everything needed was there. Nice large bedroom with bathroom separate from the main villa for a couple to stay in. Highly recommended.

St. Remy Charm

Our stay at this lovely home was wonderful! The house is so comfortable and inviting, making it perfect for staying with friends or family. The kitchen is fully equipped for any type of cooking and the outside terrace/pool area is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely appointed. One of its best features is the location - a few minutes walk to the center of charming St. Remy. Our hosts were also welcoming and attentive. We can’t wait to visit again!

An oasis and great location for exploring the region

We couldn't have loved our stay here more! The house itself is an oasis - spacious, relaxing, clean, secure, and equipped with everything you could possibly imagine needing. It is a two minute walk from the old town. Additionally, St. Remy is a great home base for exploring the region - just don't expect to be able to drive out of town easily on market day during peak summer (Wednesday) :) And Beatrice and Gil are lovely hosts! They are responsive, flexible, and just very nice people. It really made our stay that much better knowing we were dealing with good people.
