This charming cottage is attached to the owner's home, set in a rural location near the village of Turnditch in Derbyshire and sleeping two people in one bedroom.
Top Stable Cottage is a romantic, cosy cottage attached to the welcoming owner's home, overlooking lovely Derbyshire countryside near the village of Turnditch. With one galleried king-size double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, this cottage can comfortably sleep two people. There's also a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner-style electric fire. Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture to the front of the property along with off road parking for one car. Top Stable Cottage occupies a charming location with attractive country views, and offers a wonderful getaway for couples.
There is a designated dog walk (fenced off which runs through 2 fields and accessed by this property only).
Here you can walk through an enclosure which is roughly about quarter of a mile. (as shown in our photo). seating area and copse included.
Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner-style electric fire. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 1 car. Private, front enclosed lawned garden ideal for dogs with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome, please inquire for any more than one pet. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and 3 pubs within 2 miles, Ashbourne, Belper and Carsington Water all within 6 miles (10 minutes driving) and Matlock Bath 10 miles. There is a designated dog walk of approximately ¼ mile on site; exclusive to this property, it is accessed from the parking area via a small enclosure, leading to a seating area in a small copse, the walk and copse are separated from the fields by a post and rail fence with occasional additional use of an electric fence - please note that the ground can be muddy and rough underfoot and that you will need to keep your dog on a lead.
