Sunshine Daydreams in Carolina Beach is a perfect, family-friendly, or grown-up getaway!

Please enjoy your stay at our condo which has had many updates for the 2024 season. Upgrades include new sliding door and windows, new couch, leather chair and rug, remodeled bathrooms including newly tiled showers and top-quality glass shower doors, new Smart TV in the living room, new range in the kitchen, complete exterior rehab including new siding, paint, and pool refurbishment. Located in the perfect location just steps to the beach, boardwalk, bars, restaurants, and nightlife. Take in beautiful Ocean views, watch the sunset over the canal, and watch the Thursday night fireworks at the boardwalk right from the deck.

Comfort and beach vibes abound in this rental gem. Enjoy the best location on the island just steps to the beach, boardwalk, bars, restaurants, and nightlife. Easy-breezy check in with keyless entry (no keys to worry about losing at the beach). Unit is well-appointed with a full-size washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Sleeps 5 comfortably, 1 Queen Bed in Master, twin over full bunk bed with extra twin mattress in 2nd Bedroom. 2 Full Bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi, and 2 Rock Star parking spots.

If you’re planning a day at the beach, you are Chair and umbrella rentals are available and they will drop it at the beach for you so you don't have to haul anything. Tired of the sand? Rinse off at the outdoor shower, or if you want to continue water fun, you can kick it poolside! (Note: Pool is closed Nov - March)

Not feeling like going to the beach? Walk right across the street and charter a Fishing excursion, eco-tour, sunset or moonlight cruise. Kayak, Surfboard, Stand Up Paddleboard, and bike rentals are a couple blocks away.

Hungry after a day of activities? You won't have to go far - tons of popular restaurants located steps from your door. We are happy to recommend our favorites.
Looking for nightlife? There are many options, also within walking distance. Enjoy live music at the Lazy Pirate or Sea Witch. Have an ice-cold beer at The Fat Pelican – the funnest bar around with a sand beach patio.

Fort Fisher and the newly renovated NC Aquarium is just 5 miles away. From Fort Fisher, you can drive your car right up on the Ferry and take a 30-minute ride to Southport, another quaint little NC coastal town with great restaurants, antique and specialty shops.

Historic Wilmington is only 20 minutes away. Have a delicious ice cream cone as you walk the beautiful Cape Fear River waterfront. Visit the USS North Carolina Battleship, shop at all the boutiques and local specialty stores, take a carriage ride and enjoy the best restaurants around!

Our stay at the condo in Carolina Beach was delightful. The location was convenient to the beach, the State Park, and many restaurants. Carole and Greg were very responsive when we had questions or comments. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location isn't far from Wilmington where we had a wonderful dinner one evening. Many thanks to Carole and Greg for being so accommodating.

Really great setup for our family of four! Two younger kids in the second bedroom with bunk beds was perfect. The location was amazing; close to restaurants, the boardwalk, and the beach! Great communication, everything was as described, easy check in/check out process. Full kitchen, we cooked breakfast each morning. Bath towels provided, we brought our own beach towels/gear. Balcony had ocean and marina views. Live music at SeaWitch as well as music from the marina could be heard during the evening hours which we all enjoyed. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here!

Fantastic

The condo was the perfect location for the beach and the marina. Which we enjoyed a couple beach days and also a sunset cruise. Easy walk to the boardwalk for the adults and the teenagers. We loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the music at the sea witch at night with the convenience of having our own cocktails and bathrooms. The condo was comfy and decorated nicely. Will definitely stay here again on the next trip. The hosts were great to to communicate with very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location

We have a great time in this condo, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. We used host Carole recommended restaurants list and it did not disappoint. Soul flavor, island burgers, uncle Vinny to name a few…Place is nicely kept and fully stocked with towels, sheets, dishes…. Communication with host is very easy, she came back right away with questions we have. Very easy to work with.Overall is a great place to have family spending time on the beach, plus 2 parking spaces is a big plus. Place like this just makes your vacation stay in Carolina beach a breeze.

Great Location!

We spent 5 days here with our dog and five year old. It was great! You can tell the owners have really taken care to make sure their guests are comfortable. We loved watching the boats come and go from the balcony. You’re a very short walk from the beach, and within walking distance from multiple yummy places to eat as well as the Boardwalk. The kitchen is well stocked, and appliances are easy to use. We will definitely be staying again, we had a blast! The only thing that was a drawback was the stairs, so those with mobility issues may want to be aware.

Unit was Close to beach. We felt it could use an update (inside and outside). Beds were uncomfortable! We left one day early due to beds and having bugs in unit. unit.

I thought it was a great property for the price point. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the beach, boardwalk, and fireworks. I liked having the extra mattress too.

Amazing family vacation!

We visited Carolina Beach for the first time and this condo did not disappoint! You are close to everything! Steps from the beach, restaurants and right next to a bar with live music every night that we enjoyed from the balcony while the kids were sleeping. Speaking of balcony we had the best view of the fireworks on Thursday night! The pool was a huge plus when our two toddlers needed to cool down after the beach! The condo had everything we needed and we were even able to do a few loads of laundry so we wouldn’t have to do them when we got home. We can’t wait to bring our kids back soon!

Fantastic trip!

The condo is cute, super clean and the location is perfect! I felt very safe with my teens. It was a short walk to pretty much everything we needed. The beach access was close and we were able to easily catch a couple of sunrises and sunsets. I didn’t need to reach out to the hosts until after we left, but they were easy to catch and had very quick responses. Thank you for a great stay! We will be sure to look you up or refer friends when traveling to Carolina Beach!

Great Place!

Just a short trip over Easter for a family of 4. The building is older and needs updating but the condo itself was recently renovated (bathrooms-well done!), and was perfect for us. I would say the kitchen could use some minor updates with new fridge and coffee maker (Keurig?) but honestly we didn’t use it at all, except for the coffee maker :-) The location is awesome! It’s literally within walking distance to everything. Just remember to bring ear plugs or a white noise machine as The Sea Witch has live bands almost nightly until midnight. Music was great but loud :-)

Close to everything

We enjoyed being so close to the beach and boardwalk area. We rented chairs to be set up on the beach for us every day so the convenience of just walking across the street and enjoying the beach was a great thing. Kitchen had everything we needed and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful and comfy condo in great location…convenient to many restaurants, shops, the boardwalk and night life, as well as just a short walk to the beach. Loved our stay, and would consider staying again and recommending to others. The host was also very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had. We are entertainers by nature. We love hosting family and friends. We also love the beach. It has been so special for our family, so we love sharing our properties with people in hopes they will create lasting memories at the beach.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We are originally from Chicago. We moved to North Carolina and flocked to the warmth of the beach versus the extreme cold we were use to. Carolina Beach appealed to us because of the vibrant entertainment, bars, restaurants and good old fashioned boardwalk.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sunshine Daydreams is our little gem. It is in the best location - walking distance to everything! We have two parking spaces, which is key! We are steps to the beach, but also have a pool to enjoy. We felt this sweet little condo had everything we were looking for and are thrilled to be hosts.
